Always alone Someone come for me Here on my own Feels like the pain lasts an eternity Tears come no more I wanna smile again Love again Please someone find me Souls pass me by Why can't they see me here Touch me one time Just like magic I will reappear Sadness like the rain it showers over me I wanna feel again Please someone find me Lost not yet found Breathing in misery Hope lurks around When will the Sun ever shine on me I need love to come carry me Take me away Please someone find me I'll sing my song Maybe I'll scream and shout Please someone come I don't wanna live without love Hear my plea I have love to give I wanna live Please someone find me |
A friend of mine got promoted so she organized a get together in her house. I went over to assist her in the kitchen because she will be doing all the cooking herself. While cooking, she dipped a tablespoon into the soup and put the same tablespoon in her mouth to taste, she was like it is not well salted. She added another salt to taste AND WITH THE SAME TABLESPOON, SHE DIPPED IT AGAIN INTO THE SAME SOUP. OMG! Well she did not stop there, same thing with the dip. She used her forefinger to mix it, licked her finger and continued on mixing with the same finger without washing. This time around I did not complain because this was not the first time I have eaten her food. She makes pastries at times and this got me thinking of all the times I have eaten her food. The funny part was when her colleagues were commenting on her cooking skills. ![]() Another kitchen incidence happened in another friend's house. I wanted to warm some milk in the microwave, when i opened the thing men I thought it was a garbage can. I had to use the milk like that. |

Wow this is so sad. I am so lost for words. How did she die? Why?! |
Saw the wedding ring that caused the palava. It is a plain gold wedding band with no stone. It is the same as the husband and the wife's name is engraved in it. Crazy lady wore it as a pendant with her chain. Wife did not like the fact that there was no wow moment whenever anyone who heard she was married see it. She decided to buy herself a white gold diamond ring which actually brought the wow factor ( that is how I got to know about the gist ) Well everyone had complimented her on the ring and how lovely it looks. Now to return it and wear the plain gold wedding ring is a big deal cause it will raise eyebrows. I guess her friends are the reason behind the change although she said she told them her husband got it for her. I have had the opportunity to be in the company of the husband a few times and he seems like a quiet, nice and down to earth person. For the guy to insist I think there is more to the issue cause he does not seem like someone who forces his way on things. |
The situation goes thus: Wife does not like wedding ring hubby gave her on wedding day. Although she told husband to change it before getting married husband told wife that is what he could afford. Well wife accepted without complain. Well after some months, wife decided to buy the wedding ring she likes. Now husband wants wife to stop wearing the ring. Wife made it clear to husband that she used her money to buy what she wanted but husband is insisting wife should wear his and not the one she bought. I mean what difference does it make. |
Does anyone know where I can get KUSH album. I tried online but their music is nowhere to be found. I will very much appreciate it. |
This article reminds me of the thread about a diplomat's kid who wants to drop out of school. https://www.nairaland.com/nigeria/topic-842711.96.html Nigeria Spends N4.8 Billion On School Fees Of Ambassadors' Children -PREMIUM TIMES Posted: February 2, 2012 - 19:57 By Ini Ekott Nigeria lawmakers were shocked that the foreign ministry spends far above amounts approved for fees. The federal government bankrolled the school fees of Nigerian diplomats’ children abroad to the tune of N4.8 billion in 2011, it emerged yesterdaybas government officials scramble to reconcile past spending, and defend fresh proposals. Up till weekend, ministries and departments and parastatals are to face lawmakers for the annual budget defence ritual, where frightening details of government’s bogus spending usually meet with lawmakers’ fleeting rebuke. The House of Representatives foreign affairs committee headed by Nnena Elendu-Ukeje on Thursday expressed shock at the huge bill the foreign affairs ministry spends annually on school fees. For 2011, the ministry paid N4.8 billion for foreign education of its workers’ wards -an amount that overshot approved allocation for the purpose. The ministry proposes to spend a relatively lower N5.2 million for the same purpose this year, a figure lawmakers believe will be raised after appropriation. The amounts foot the fees of children of ambassadors and other diplomatic staff in the nearly 200 missions run by Nigeria across the world. Lawmakers said ministry officials have been presenting such fees and other expenditures of the ministry in bulk without details, names of beneficiaries, thereby allowing officials a freehand to later adjust the approved figures, and spend same unilaterally. “You have put votes for security in four different places and that is the issue. You have four different sub-heads showing security votes. That is not acceptable,” Elendu-Ukeje told the minister, Olugbenga Ashiru, at a defense session. Yet, the legislators have not indicated any plan to block the proposals or to order a discontinuation of the hefty government scholarship. The ministry’s security votes for 2012 totals a little below N2 billion while it plans to spend N2 billion on transport and travels, another subhead the lawmakers queried. The minister’s response was simple: “We travel to get the best,” he told the lawmakers” “You need to get well-trained diplomats. Without training, you will not get good diplomats. Without training, there will be no results. We send some of them to Oxford, some to Italy as they will be competing with the best from the world,” he said. Nigeria also spent hugely in funding to the United Nations, African Union and the regional body, ECOWAS in 2011. The house committee branded the lavish levies “ridiculous.” For 2011, the minister said, Nigeria paid 3.3 billion Naira (16 million US dollars) to the African Union. Contributions to the United Nation was N300 million while N285 million was paid to the Commonwealth. http://premiumtimesng.com/news/3653-nigeria-spends-n4_8billion-on-school-fees-ambassadors_-children.html |

Run as fast as your legs can carry you. Don't be a victim. |
I believe in telling kids the truth about any question they ask me. This happened to me when I was young, I think I was around 5 years old. I saw my aunt using toilet roll as sanitary towel. I asked her what she was doing and her reply was, "it is none of your business." Oh well, I thought to myself maybe my aunt also wet the bed that is why she did not reply me. That night before going to bed, I did the same thing she did. When I woke up the next morning and my mum saw my panties mixed with urine and toilet roll, she gave me the beatings of my life. The funny thing is that she did not ask me where I got the idea from. |

@OP It can happen to anyone. Do you know the kind of emotional problem she had before meeting you. For me, I will blame the business partner cause there is a chance he took advantage of her. See it from your girls' point of view. Maybe she did it cause she was lonely or she wanted sex. For someone like me I do not approve of such behaviors but I learned something about LIFE, never judge others. You do not know the kind of baggage she was carrying around. What of her dad? Most times girls that do not have a father figure always look up to someone to fit that role and as I said the business partner took advantage of her. Another thing is the family. Do they know what is going on between the girl and her business partner? Most times parents or siblings are aware of what is going on. Of recent I have realize that parents support their kids to be wayward as far as they are comfortable with what the business partner provides for them and their daughter. I know how confusing it is. But the thing is in the next 5 years when the love is no more shacking you, and she comes late from home, what comes to mind? Cause there is no way you won't think about it. Even with someone else. You may see her hugging a distant relation and the thought comes to mind. Now that you know the situation on ground. Talk to her face to face about your fears. Let it be an impromptu. See her reaction and response to all you have to say. After that, you watch more and speak less. The funny thing is you learn a lot when all you do is watch. At times people get uncomfortable when all you do is stare at them and they think you know what's up especially loved ones. |
I guess the colonial masters era were better. |
What a friend I have in Jesus!! |
I think at times one needs to look at other people's situations to determine where he/she is going. In case of a guy leaving behind his gf and telling her not to worry I will send for you. Based on others who have been in this kind of situation the next thing that comes mostly to mind is I know you are a gunner .So for me I tend to weigh other people's situation as well as mine and I make the best decision. |
Remembered going for an interview and the interviewer will met my gaze. She was looking elsewhere and it was obvious she was nervous. She noticed I was looking at her directly and trying to make an eye contact with her while she was talking. The funny thing is she did not ask me any question as such. She kept on talking about the job description and what is entails. Most times I had to chip in whenever she paused to sell myself to her. It got to a stage I stopped trying cause I knew there and then that I wasn't going to get it. So why bother. I had another interview with another white lady. Before meeting the lady who happens to be the manager, her boss had already said a lot of positive things about me to her, so I guess she was expecting white person. When she saw me, she was surprised. She asked the initial question of tell me about yourself which I did and the next thing she said is, your resume says it all. I don't have any more question for you. Wow I was surprised and she was like my boss said a lot about you so I don't think I have anymore question to ask you. ![]() |
