Hello gurus in the house,

Please kindly assist I have a few questions

1. I got an admission for masters programme in Portugal for September they have asked me to pay the registration fee which is about 500 euros plus another 600 as the first installment of the tuition fees before the 23rd, and only after that will they issue me the admission letter. Is this a normal process?

2. I am Nigerian, I live in Lagos but I have a UK BSc. The university did not ask me for legalization for the application or registration process, do I still need to legalise and authenticate at the embassy for visa application. If so, how do i go about it?

4. What other documents will I need verification and legalization for?

5. I had a change of name years back, do I need to verify and legalise these documents i.e. the affidavit for change of name and the newspaper public notice at MOE and MoFA and embassy for visa application?

5. Please kindly help me outline the up to date visa process if I want to do it myself. Including timelines if possible.

6. How much do I need to have as proof of funds and for how many months? Will N8m suffice? Can I use a company as a sponsor if my own account does not have enough?

The ds-160 has expired. Fill another one with your recent photo of not more than six months, after that you can use the printout to raise a support ticket in the new portal maybe it can be auto update from their office. Otherwise just print it out and take the new ds-160 to your visa interview.

I have an upcoming interview b1/b2, and I am trying to retrieve my ds160, but when i enter the application ID it says no records found. I updated it once. The current ID returns with no records found on ceac , so I entered the application ID for the form i filled initially, but that one is saying the security information is wrong even though I am sure it isn't. Please help!! what could be the issue. I am so confused because I never printed it out and I thought I saved it but I cant seem to find it. What do I do? I'm panicking
By the way, I filled the form over a year ago, they kept rescheduling my interview date since 2022.

Please I would appreciate any insights.

From my experience at Festac office, passport issued/collected has to be ticked before you go for collection.

Please anyone who has used the DIY Route at Festac office for renewal, Please what do I need to take on the appointment day, aside from application form, receipts of payment, acknowledgement slip.
Please kindly give me a breakdown of how it goes at the office when I get there. My appointment day is nov 2nd, I don't want to have any reason to be told I didn't bring one document or the other. Please help!
Then also I have read people are talking about arrangement of file, what does this entail? what is the order of the arrangement so that I can do it before I get there.
Should I buy the standard brown file from anywhere or is a specific type of file that must be bought at the passport office?

Yes you can click on reschedule button you pay again only when you have used up your free rescheduling options which is like 2 times

Please this information circled in the screenshot, based on what you said that if you paid visa fees before May 1, you still qualify for IW, how does it affect an applicant who paid their visa fees in March, being that March is prior to May, however March till date is over 6 months. This is causing me some confusion, as both information seem conflicting. Please kindly help me clarify this.

Yes, you now qualify for interview waiver provided you paid visa fee prior to May 1 2022. Dropbox validity has been extended to 48 months. I was able to get appointments dates for both my parents for 1st week in Dec

I used wakanow. I got to the payment point and stopped cos they were asking me to input card details. But then I received a call from them and I explained to them, then they sent the reservation to my email. Thanks for your help.

Just use wakanow and click book , you don’t need to pay anything , use the correct date too

I said what I said cos that's the information I I have
I am in a WhatsApp group of almost 100 person's on the AIPP route and I have seen only 1 inland applicant with 9 months timeline. Every other person are 6months or less.
Infact, one person got PR in just one month in December.
A friend got hers in Nov 2021 within 5months and she's the one who introduced me to AIPP Route.
All Outland applicants have been waiting for like forever though.

Stop making it sound like a lie cos cases are different like you said.
