Tvegas: How you dey? You can mention the various costs without sounding like a marketer. You might be indirectly helping someone. I Just didn't wanna mention accomodation and car rentals but I will fully critique my hospital here later. pls I want to know more about car rental in El Paso because am el pao bound in March and I will like to make my arrangement well especially transportation |

Cecebee: Hi Larondoo22, Well truth be told im kinda scared of atlanta PoE. All the stories here about atlanta though successful are mostly near misses. Atlanta seems to be as harsh as Houston. Just my opinion right now but lets see how it goes...i really dont want to be a statistic! mean while you using doctoresparati? have you gotten their letter? been trying to contact them and cant get thru. dont know what im doing wrong. hi @cecebee I will be using Doctoresparati.have gotten intouch with them and they have reply me,I will register with them in January.goggle for Doctoresparati on your system,it will take u to their site,there you will be able to contact them and everything you need to know about them including the bill and the accomodation. |

Cecebee: @tvegas the Guru
Thanks for replying. I think. Didn't see any comment though. But if u say I'm on the right path then I most probably am
@yefa
Thanks a lot...have to admit I'm still trying to figure out how the thread works with replies and such.
@ Larondoo22 and @fruitfull1
It's nice to meet you both... i feel a lot better knowing I am not the only April mum here. Pls have you both gotten your appointment letters? Since you are going to elpaso, I assume you using doctores parati right? Do you plan to stay @ intown suites? I've been thinking washington DC as my POE as I have been there twice and barely had any problems. I need all the advise I can get especially as I have just now started the process and I'm overwhelmed. glad I won't be alone while in elpaso...I thank God for that. Tots? Thanks a bunch. yes oo,I intend to stay in intown suite because I got intouch with someone on this forum too that told me that it's close to all the major shopping malls.i intend using Atlanta as my Poe cos of the straight journey from lag. |

malihamlagos: Hi everyone,
Reporting from El Paso Doctoresparati, just had my baby this past weekend and was treated really well by the staff. One very interesting point that I might mention is that Monday I had the opportunity to check my account balance and was shocked to see my bill was $22,381.00!!!! This was only the hospital package that is mentioned on the doctoresparati website as $2700, not including the Doctors fee. I contacted Melissa (whom I had been in contact with from doctoresparati.com) and she mentioned that this was correct that the normal price is not what international patients pay and that my balance would be adjusted (she gave me instructions on receiving zero balance statement). When my sister went to pick up the zero balance letter, it had no pending charges, so I was really happy.
We are in the process of moving to a different hotel since my mother in law is arriving soon and we need a more space but there seems to be more and more people arriving from Naija in the last 2 weeks and the people that are already here have been really helpful. One important detail if you are traveling to El Paso, do your homework on the weather, we were told by family in Minnesota that it is very cold in the US in December so we packed heavy coats and winter clothes, but the weather is very comfortable in El Paso so we have a lot of winter clothes that we did not use. As of now we are awaiting birth certificate, I will try to post as much information on my experience as possible (Passport/visa). By His grace all things are possible!!!! congrats on the arrival of your newborn pls keep us posted because am also El Paso bound mum |
