A40: One thing that's always gotten me curious. Why do Bronsexuals argue when we say the LEastern conference was weak and then still say he was the underdog in all those Finals. That math is not really matching
Secondly. You mean the phony goat in his athletic prime with the 3rd best SG of all time and another HOF Chris Bosh was the underdog against baby KD, Russ (23y.) and a 6th man Harden (22)
Even more egregious in 2014. Back 2 back Champions. With 3 HOFers vs an old Tim (38) and Manu (37 years) baby Kawhi (23)
Last year they told us with a straight face that he was underdog vs Ja Morant despite having superstar AD as teammate.
Me I've not seen that kin thing before oh. Where a superior player is always the underdog no matter the supporting cast he's surrounded by Anywhere they are cooking Lebron, you will always be there. |

I just pity first bank customers especially with bank charges since the bank must recover their money one way or the other. 40 billion from a bank not even government treasury. This man bad o. and is also dumb cause he must have believed it'll have taken long before he will be caught despite the huge amount. It took close to 2yrs to caught him. European Football (EPL, UEFA, La Liga) › Re: EPL Chatroom - All Discussions by larride(m): 7:39pm On May 31, 2024 |
Roland17: Currently, that same Auchi man has Federal political representation of his community in Abuja which is outside Edo and farther from Calabar or PH. You are never going to eliminate the differences but the similarities, geographically especially is a tremendous pro that brings governance closer to the people in comparison to what we have now. The idea is to drastically reduce the power at the top because it is not devolving to the people who need most.
As it stands today, the SW and SE are better positioned to transition away from the Federal/ top heavy system of Government. As for the embolden, just forget about it because the North will never allow it to happen because they will suffer most if we practice true fiscal resource control and Federalism. our LGs need total autonomy even if we move away from Federalism. In the previous regional government that we had, there was still a federal parliament, no? |

Restructuring indeed
I go believe am when I see am, WITHOUT AN ULTERIOR MOTIVE BEHIND IT.
That's if the northerners will let it fly because they believe it is anti-north 😂😂😂😂
I no know wetin them dey fear. If you truly believe your region is supreme, show workings once you're not tethered to anyone. They fear it because regional government will lead to regional resource control. Our politicians are living a soft life of waiting till end of the month to enjoy the proceed from oil. Going into regions means every region will have to work on their resources to develop themselves which our lazy politicians doesn't want. |
European Football (EPL, UEFA, La Liga) › Re: EPL Chatroom - All Discussions by larride(m): 7:34pm On May 31, 2024 |
Roland17: I don't think the idea is to totally eliminate the differences because that is impossible, even if every state becomes a country of it's own. The truth is, considering our population, land mass and other dynamics, our system of government is too big and expensive, consequently, the people, especially those in the local government are not benefitting from governance. An Auchi man and Calabar man may not have similar cultures but they have more similarities between both in comparison to a Norther or SW. Now, I don't necessarily think a regional system will resolve all our issues or is the best but I know our current Federal system isn't working for the majority. If we have effective local government administration, most of this issue wont even crop up. Crippling local government administration was the bane of the decay of this country and only an effective local government administration can begin to revive it. |

We are too different. Lets even say SW and SE will agree to the regional arrangement because we are largely of same stock, So where and how do you propose the SS region come together? what similarity is any exist between Auchi man and A Calabar man. Where will capital be, what do they have in common, they dont even speak the same language nor worship the same thing nor believe in the same thing
An Edo man that has tasted autonomy will now be banded with someone from AkwaIbom and be taking orders from wherever the capital is (Assume its portharcourt)
Na from SS and NC(middle belt) that talk of regional govt will scatter Very valid points. |

I feel LG autonomy, State autonomy are more realistic to achieve than Regions
thats just my opinion The State Governors will always use the SHoA to block any constitution amendment that wants to grant LG autonomy. Same way most Northern lawmakers will seek to block giving each state resource control. 1 - 1 score draw. |

Remove those ministers, house of nonsense all of them down to state level The governors will start getting busy because they won't have commissioners doing their jobs not like they are really doing anything They should report to their regional leader while the leaders report to president Remove Senate President and VP too Let everyone work for their damn money Even if we are going back to regional govt, there will still be a form of representation of the people called Parliament. The people must have local leaders to represent them. But your idea makes sense |

They think they are at a disadvantage because their political leaders are very lazy and visionless. (Its not as if the southern one are any better anyways). |

Spy360: Agreed totally.
Why is this so difficult?
If it's to pass nonsense bill NASS will do it within a week. Useless idiots 🥶 NASS already pass LG financial autonomy during Buhari tenure, the bill was rejected at the State house of Assembly. The way constitution amendment work, after the NASS pass the bill, 2/3 of the 36 states House of Assembly must also assent to the bill before it can be sent to the President for assent and become an amendment to the constitution. The Governors are not ready to give LG any financial autonomy so they just use their state house of Assembly to block the bill. |

I agree but they dont want to go the US style where the interest will just keep accruing and make it difficult for the beneficiary to fully pay back, that's why they are doing it interest free. |
