Baba you are still seeing the whole picture I'm trying to let you see. Politics is not 1 + 1 as you are explaining it.

You can check Google, APC actually suspended Omo Agege a month after the elections for anti party activities. It was widely reported by reputable news medium.

When you are the Gubernatorial aspirant of a party in an election, you are automatically one of the leaders of the party especially in state where you are the opposition. When Sheriff came into APC, he met some party structure on ground with Omo Agege controlling Delta Central region, as one of the leader of the party he should easily be getting senate seat in the region he control except they hijack the party structure away from him. Just because Sheriff and Efe are from the same town means nothing really, in fact that should've worked against Efe if not that Omo Agege don mess for shop. He handpicked almost all the candidates for Delta Central in 2023, today none of his loyalist including himself were able to get anything.

Look at what happened in Ogun State primaries, when Ogun APC announced consensus candidates for the 3 senate seat, it was Dapo for Ogun East, Salisu for Ogun Central and Mrs Noimot, Dapo deputy was announced as Ogun West candidate.

Before the primaries, Mrs Noimot dey follow Yayi everywhere he dey go thinking the coast is clear for her to replace Yayi as Ogun West senator. On the day of the primaries, Yayi raised the hand of Ojugbele as the preferred candidates with the notion that Dapo can't be a senator and his deputy will be a senator also when they are not the only one in the state. Ojugbele won that primaries with large margin.

Don't forget that it's the same Dapo that announced Yayi as the consensus candidate for the party.

Long story short, when you have different power brokers in the party, the Governor will have to horse trade and give some leeway. In this case, they took everything from Omo Agege because he don mess up. That's the bigger picture I'm painting for you.

E dey always surprise me. When I tell people I don't smoke or drink alcohol, they also look me as if I'm weird.

I remember when I got terribly sick in 2021 just few months after my wedding, my stomach was aching terribly, the hospital I was using ran several test and scan with nothing to show what's wrong so they asked me to go do scan at another center. When I brought the result, the doctor said my kidney was swollen and that I must desist from alcohol and smoking, na once I burst laugh. grin

I told him Oga I don't smoke and I have never tasted alcohol in my life so make he talk another thing. It was another doctor that came and told me to go to general that they can't really say what's wrong with me and that the other doctor is just trying to make money for the hospital by keeping me on admission. I can never forget that experience

I went to general and the consultant that attended to me said there's nothing wrong with my kidney that it's in perfect conditions.

Sheriff decamped to APC now, so Agege cannot contest again. He now wants Ede to give him back the slot, so he can go to the Senate, and that's where the problem started.

Agege is not a small person that Tinubu can just discard. He has more clout and influence than Ede. The Governor ensure Ede won, and that's his anger.

Ede cannot beat Agege in any free and fair election in Delta

I mean all his loyalist even in Delta central, none of them won a ticket in the primary.

He used to control most of APC structure in Delta till he casted in 2023 that he did Anti party. The President bidded his time, woo Sheriff and his godfather to the party and yank the state structure off Agege.

None of his loyalist won a single primary seat, na total annihilation.

Personally, the only good policy of this administration has been NELFUND and stopping the incessant ASUU strike.

Alausa has also tried in the Education sector with the various grants for students startups, research grants and the likes.

And yes, I agree that investor confidence is returning based on economic prospect, Dangote Refinery like him or loathe him has been a positive impact (Jonathan initiative ) but currently people are going through pain, am afraid the govt isn't doing enough.

People lived experience had been majorly better in Jonathan's vs APC.

The government isn't even scratching the surface yet not to talk of not doing enough, when Cardoso was working day and night to make the monetary policy work and clearing backlogs, Wale Edun was nowhere to be found to compliment his work fiscally.

Edun was refusing to release budgeted funds to ministry, refusing to pay contractors, even the 3 month wage award that the government itself announced, it took Wale Edun close to a year before paying it. Ridiculous.

Tinubu should've relieved Wale Edun of his duties since the first year of the administration. They are very fast to implement reforms and then very slow in executing cushions for the masses.

Look at the way this cooking gas issue skyrocketed within weeks, a sensible government will have communicated to the masses about what's causing the increment and what they are doing to tackle it but what did we get, radio silence.

If anybody tell you they still trust this government, na lie.

I mean we saw people counting 1,2,3..7,8...11, 12..21. One would think such evidence will force INEC to cancel that process but NO, our lack of strong institutions mean INEC will look past that and focus on being disruptive in other areas of the election.

Our entire system is corrupt and there is a lack of accountability.

I think INEC has zero power over the internal workings of a political party except if one of the affected aspirants go to work and get a judgement that INEC can enforce, if not, it's party supremacy.
