I don't even understand him sef.

The funny thing is the north has been quite peaceful. All these violence in the south might just be paving way for an Atiku presidency of we are not careful
A friend working in INEC was just gisting me on how there are sabotage within INEC when it comes to distribution of election materials in the South.

Just called.

Mum is still at the PU. It's a massive crowd.
My dad got there earlier, has voted, and then gone to work.

It's very calm from what I just saw now...although for some reason, there were a metric ton of hijabis at the PU grin
Good news. There are a lot of northerners in Agege so its expected.

First time this morning? Ahh

What kind of preparations did INEC do self?

I know you outside NL na, you are smart Doc. I am talking about a corper that doesn't know what the register looks like or what to do with it sef. One time, he was signing just one paper (Presidential). Ha to tell him to sign the others too na (Senatorial & HOR) grin
Quota system cheesy

I am not surprised, PDP Members in Oyo have vowed to work for him as against Makinde's choice.
I'm surprised about what's happening in Lagos this time around tbh.

Party ward meeting I attended last year, what we deliberately on was on how to get alot of people to come out and vote and also talk against violence as that will stop some people from coming out to vote. We need as many numbers as we can get, not all these ones.

They said they would.
I haven't called them today to check tbh cos I woke up not too long ago. I'm still in bed sef.

Their PU is a short walk away from our house, and although the area is a very rough neighbourhood, I feel confident that they will be OK.
Ok thanks.

Okay Ọba Saheed Elegushi is speaking nonsense now?! 🤦‍♂️

He just asked a very dumb question now.

He said how come INEC allowed people who don't live in the vicinity of the palace transfer their PVC/polling unit to that axis despite such people not living in the area. He said they saw strange faces that don't live in the area with PVC's wanting to vote.

Omo! So must he know every voter before they are allowed to vote in that polling unit?
My polling unit is a 20mins drive from where I live and there are polling units very close to me. It seems Oba is not informed.

We've had one or two skirmishes here and there but I like the way you approach stuff

Except your party shaa. That one na another matter 😒

But for real, your relative objectivity compared to other party men (across board) is commendable.

Also, just wait for news from the north. It is coming and I am expecting surprises from there.
Na so politics be. cheesy

Election will come and go, people that refuse to use their head during election will only have themselves to blame.

Anyway APC is the party through good and bad times. wink

This is my major concern. Let people vote and let the results decide the winner.
Omo I tire, people for here dey bant and laugh together. No tension.

Hopefully INEC and whoever emerge President improve on the conduct of election especially as it relates to the security of voters and election materials.

It will be canceled but if after collation of results the number of registered voters in those polling unit is more than the margin of victory, those polling units election will be reconducted.

Larride you are doing well jare I appreciate your composure hopefully one day you will be able to change your evil party for good
I've always said it here that politics is not war and everyone should be allowed to vote for whoever they want to. Its disheartening seeing people get disenfranchised from exercising their civil duty.

Political party is nothing but a vehicle to gain leadership position and serve the nation.

There's been reported violence in Kogi too.

What I'm saying is of such news of violence keep coming out, the election riggers Amy actually be endangering the chances of their principals in the long run
You are right.

Kogi, Lagos and Rivers election has always been like this, it's like the President didn't ask for known violence hot spot in the country to increase their security capacities.

People should be allowed to vote for whoever they want ffs. angry

So what happens if Buhari's government decide to claim the election is not peaceful and cancel the whole election altogether?
Nah. Lagos is not the only state in the country. Other states has been largely peaceful apart from Rivers and some part of Lagos here.

That's why I said what Buhari should've done is to target known hot spots and increase the security there. Thankfully the military is responding to distress calls

So what happens to those polling units where ballot boxes are snatched? Will they be cancelled and the votes rendered useless?

What happens to the much celebrated BVAS and INEC server?
Cancelled most likely. BVAS cannot stop snatching of ballot boxes, only adequate security can.
