Its election week

For those that will be voting, check and know where your polling unit is ahead of time.

On election day, stay vigilant and at alert.

Shun violence and every form of electoral malpractice.

Vote and if you can stay till your polling unit votes is counted and result announced, if you cant vote and go back home. Safety first.

Overall use your head, election is not war.

According to the INEC timetable , campaigns stop are to stop 24 hours to a day before the election ( As provided by the electoral act 2022) . That means campaign for the presidential elections will end 23rd February 2023.

I guess this explains why all political parties are still doing campaign till now (unlike what we had in the past )

Whether De gea extends his contract or not, we should be selling and cashing out on Henderson either way. Henderson is not good enough to be our 1st choice.

We'll need to buy a new goalkeeper to replace him and hopefully the new goalkeeper benches de gea on merit.
We wont buy another GK that will challenge DDG for the number 1 spot if they renew DDG contract, what they will buy is backup.

one who wants forgiveness will first forgive himself..

The sad reality is that north who has the numbers and their vast population majorly illiterates and religious fanatics will keep choosing the president of the most populous black nation..

That's why we anticipate for their vote division amongst atiku and shettima/APC so as to give advantage to obi and labor party
The North was giving Buhari between 10- 12m votes consistently in 3 different election yet he didnt win the election.

For a candidate to he President elect, he has to win majority votes and also 25% of total votes in 25 states of the federation.

No region can determine the President of this nation.

Of course, I was being sarcastic, there are tons of reason this election will be the most ridiculous of all time.

Soldiers have been deployed to man check points and they will be paid for food breaks. A cousin who went for INEC adhoc staff training on 13th complained of issues with payment due to network and lack of cash. INEC still need cash for mobilization according to news.

It simply level the playing ground of rigging for all candidates. Those who have cash available at any PU will win it. Areas where INEC staff can't go to because of no T-Fare will have no ballot boxes. Candidates that create enabling short-term (and unsustainable yet targeted ) environment for citizens (like Sanwo-olu and El-rufai) will have major votes.

It will be either be a rigging pro max for the 3 candidates who all have interest( and I believe access to) in banks. Or there will be little or no rigging because there will barely be an election.

Walahi, this country is finished
"No, the cash redesign is meant to stop vote buying and stop Tinubu from winning."

So says our experts analyst here.

Shey CBN has assured INEC that they will make cash available, let's wait and see.

Most of the election sensitive materials are always kept at CBN offices yet Buhari said people that are already angry and frustrated should be going to CBN to deposit their funds.

Its well.

bro, obi is the only person with no godfather who has been doing the undoable which has never been done in the political environment of Nigeria since history..

He has chosen the youth route more than other candidates who has either chosen the tribalistic or godfatherism route..

It's quite glaring to the blind even
Just say you just started following election this period bro.

Who was Buhari godfather when he was pulling 10m votes in 2003? Who was his godfather when he was pulling the same in 2008? Who was his godfather when he created CPC months to the 2011 election and got 12m votes?

Let election result come out first and see the number he pulls before you start saying hes doing what someone has never done before.

They literally did it for every top candidate as it is their duty to sensitize the citizenry on the contestants and their policies.

My biggest happiness is that anyone who loses won't have to complain of "large scale rigging " this time. Shaping up to be the silliest election so far.
Dont hold your breath, whoever loses will have different kind of excuses as the reason why they lule.

Abe is popular in Ogoni

Amaechi cannot make space for Abe at the same time as trying to hand Ijaw areas a seat

Abe should relax with being King of Ogoni, Senator and shotcaller in that area, he cannot be Governor before an Ijaw man. If the Ikwerre/Igbo areas rotate power out of Ikwerre land, it will be to Ijaw area, not Ogoni. That's what Wike is doing with Simi now. Abe is not content with his lot and trying to upset the order
Well Amaechi didnt play his card well though, Magnus is reported to be Tinubu guy, it's easy to Tinubu to talk to Abe to calm down and relax and support Tonye Cole. Before and after Tinubu won the primaries, Abe was following him everywhere he went before he moved to SDP if I'm mistakenly for the Governorship ticket.

APC needs to put its house in order. Too many anti-party especially in the southern part of the party.

He is moving with intelligence

Tinubu does not sell in Rivers State

His body language and 200,000 special assistants is enough for the strong men on ground to deliver Tinubu his 25% without Wike losing popularity with Rivers people. Amaechi that wore APC on his sleeve is now a nobody in Rivers
Amaechi problem is his inability to shift ground and accommodate other party members. His constant battle with Magnus Abe is one of the problem. Magnus is also quite popular about in the riverine areas of Rivers (I stand to be corrected itsrm) which means what should be his leverage at the national level has been eroded. A man that cannot control his base wont be respected outside politically.

My own view is... anything Buhari either Infrastructure or what have you shouldn't be replicated at all....

We shouldn't be borrowing (even at a very inflated rates) for infrastructure.

We,even the best supporter of a given candidate will definitely hope and pray d winner doesn't goes awry ..cos Las Las na we go suffer am..
Politics is not war at least to me. There will be life after election, those that want to create forever enmity can do so.

Any Presidenrial aspirant that tells you he wont borrow is lieing. Borrowing is not the issue, the issue is what you are borrowing for. That's why I prefer the idea of Buhari loans being attached to projects.

For us to rapidly develop and compete with other nations, we need massive investment in infrastructure (road, rails, electricity, housing e.t.c)
