It seems Akpabio can’t control Udom anymore, Udom just like Ganduje does not want to be Akpabio puppet in the government house. Most of these governor that are not loyal to their political godfather, the first thing they do is hijack the party structure in the state so they are the de facto leader of the party in the state so they can successfully fight their godfather. I think Akpabio still have some form of control over his senatorial district given the large number of people who decamped to APC there. I was really surprised.

Akwa Ibom is a PDP state and I think Akpabio will be at a disadvantage unless APC find a way to win the state comes 2019 which is a tall dream to be honest.

PDP really needs to take control back of the party from Wike and his goons but the question is who is going to do that? Wike has the money it seems.

Tinubu controls the party structure in Lagos, every knows that. Tinubu is having problem with Amosun in Ogun, Akeredolu in Ondo, Fayemi and Tinubu can’t be described as best buddies, I’m not so sure of Ajimobi. Apart from Lagos, the other state Tinubu has firmly in his pocket is Osun APC and the result was the just concluded APC primaries.

As long as you control the structure of your party, you cannot be termed as ordinary. Even those that didn’t have the party structures before they were elected as govenors hijacked the party structure from their political godfather and chase them away. Eg Ganduje, Bello.

They dont have any choice, they have lost the home base to the governors, the ward congress has shown them that the governors have chased their loyalist from power so they dont have any base in their states anymore at least in APC, the next best option for them is to try their luck in the other big party thinking maybe the disaffection of the populace with APC will reward them with return tickets to the Senate

Dino is already facing problem with Kogi PDP, they are already saying they won’t give him any automatic ticket to run for senate, the question is will Dino without any structure in the party yet win their primary? Maybe it will be rigged in his favor, maybe not.

Shehu Sani is from Kaduna South which is PDP stronghold but will the PDP structure just fall in line with him knowing that he’s still a paperweight senator? Don’t forget he’s still a first time senator ditto for Hunkuyi.

Kwankwaso might win his own re-election but it’s up for grabs also as Ganduje is actually ready to cut his former godfather to size.

As long as the Govenors in the West remain and part of the South and probably Rochas and Umahi in the east. Buhari might be re-elected and some of these politicians will just fade away.

Most of those defectors are sincerely not using their head. Politics is a local game, you have to be sure of your base before you start making uncalculated decisions. Kwankwaso with all his so called support base in Kano hasn’t been able to enter Kano for about 2 years now. Who the hell knows Shehu Sani and Hunkunyi in Kaduna until they ride on the Buhari wave in 2015, the same Sani that has been losing election since 2003 and can’t even win CPC primary in 2011 now thinks he has the grassroots support to win his re-election ditto for Hunkuyi. Dino Melaye will be coming up against a popular Smart Adeyemi backed by the state government. It must be noted that Smart Adeyemi has been winning the Kogi West senatorial district since 2007 until Dino was rewarded with the APC ticket in 2015.

2019 will make a lot of our politicians to understand that politics is a local game, you have to be certain of your local base first else you are heading to political oblivion. The only big wig senator that APC will miss is Saraki and they are already getting one back in Akpabio who’s planning to defect to APC.

I was traveling to a nearby town and the driver just stopped and said we also could partake because they were not confirming the borrowed membership card people of opposition parties were presenting. to cut the story short, I was permitted and it wasn't even a voting process, we were counted and were just allocating fake figures on the Inec sheet. All am saying is that, the majority of the figures you see there are really not APC members..I was counted and was given 5k.

Forget about Mou for once and see what the player is serving us. He just get attracted to the ball too easily. Mata won’t play as 10 if I am Mou also. He either sit on the bench and just play when we need some body on the field or he should be sold.
