My second best friend is a lady and my ex gf (2yrs ago) knows this, she met both of us in the living room with her leaning on my shoulders crying because she was going through some emotional trauma, my gf came in, saw the scenario, shouted and left, (bear in mind that she knows this particular girl is my best friend, we have been together since childhood). Fast-forward 3weeks later, I caught her cheating on me in her room (serious banging ) I dumped her as.s with immediate effect and went into 2month depression though I love her, cheating a deal breaker for me, I take cheating seriously.

I can definitely forgive her, but that's the end of the relationship.

Firstly, there is no perfect being anywhere in the world and looking for one will be an exercise in futility. Don't generalize, even on NL (as in the real world) there are jerks both guys and girls, so please don't generalize.

You raised some valid points and yet rendered them invalid yourself, times changes, we evolve, technology improves e.t.c yet there are still both men and women who still hold our traditional views and morals with them. No matter how "New generation" we want to term it, a typical Nigeria Man, will want a wife that's good in the kitchen. You might have come across some set of jerks which in turn prompt this outburst, but seriously check yourself, there might be something you are missing/lacking, remember they all can't be wrong.
