Ehailing wey some people don use Japa You know how many Graduates dey run ehailing Then one illiterate wey no Sabi simple mathematical calculation go dey spill trash
My guy wey b strong 2.1 Engineering after running salary work for many years couldn't even raise money from his salary work he worked for 5 years the Niqqur resigned his work used his personal car run Uber for a year Raised money and sold his car . Niqqur dey Canada now |

All these Salary earners work for Nigeria na trash that's why I resigned. So I have a senior brother who works in one of the top Manufacturing multinational companies in Nigeria . He called earlier today and was crying bitterly . He's their Manufacturing Manager on a net salary of #1Million naira . He has just one kid and a wife. He was lamenting seriously on how much he used to fill his car recently . Omo he was just saying that money he's earning currently doesn't have value again. Some people were saying salary earners would start using their cars to do Uber part time to compliment earnings . How many Salary earners would do that . How many people are earning above 300k in Nigeria today. For him to attain this kind of salary the niqqur has worked for 12 years. Abeg if you are not earning anything above 500k monthly in Nigeria a Uber driver (driving his own car) is better than you Even A business person is better than you cos better business can bring more than that 500k return monthly
Salary work na trash |

Canada their unemployment rate is 5% UK unemployment is 3.5% See eeeh the only disadvantage of Uk is the inflation and tax UK is even closer to Nigeria than Canada |

IFSHR: Student route
School fee (3000 pounds ) 1.8m (through formA) Ihs and visa (me and wife) 2.2m POF (proof of fund). 800k
Flight for 2. 640k Rent for 2 month ( 800 pounds) 720k
Wife is working ..... I am schooling and working 20hrs in a week.
DIY from A-Z ....And I learnt all on Nairaland...UK student section.
Not all rosy at the beginning...but we are settling in and it's better than when we first came In. Pls eeeeh that POF doesn't seem realistic The last time I checked the average cost of of migrating to uk is 15Million-20Million Cos am currently on the Japa process and UK is costing me #15M while Canada is costing me 10-11Million naira That Canada own sef na one year course wey go give me one year work permit if I want 3years that is I got do two years masters or so and that would be double the money say above 20M for Canada. I still prefer UK cos with that one year Masters in UK I can get two years stay Please Note: I be Engineering student other courses might be cheaper |

TheModerator: You see why you are foolish? Fuel was increased by 163percent? If you went to school, you wouldn't have been driving kabu kabu since 2016 and bragging about it as your chosen career. It also show the dumb nature of this thread. Typical kabu kabu mentality that none can correct you.
You actually believe that the fuel increase will work in your favour, how dumb a way of thinking. Ewu empanu Pls did you go to school at all You such a dullard Should I do the calculation for you @ cheerful giver should I do the mathematical calculation for him ? X/100 = (500-189)/189 You would get 160percent increase So sorry you must not be an Engineering student before you can solve that Even primary 6 go fit solve that I sure say you be school drop out |

Business › Re: If You Are Uber Partner In Lagos, Please Share Your Experience Here by Larry1960: 7:48pm On May 31, 2023 |
TheModerator: No one has exclusivity to Uber business. Salary easrners can drive too and can use their cars too if Uber becomes the cash cow of this unavoidable inflation.
300percent increase in fuel, one would expect Uber fares to increase by 300percent. But even if that happens, Bolt and Uber will take a whooping 25percent from all that money that you have invested into fuel. That's a loss already.
You that is mocking office workers that earn 150k don't know that they use ehailing and will explore other alternatives if fares tripples. Olosho that takes 20k a night cannot give you half of her night earnings, she will rather take a bus or Korope. So 300percent increase in fares may in turn lead to 300percent decrease in demand.
Inflation is always a vicious circle that knows no bound. Always try and be calming down, always think before talking. Boss abeg you go school at all na ordinary mathematics be this ooooo wey primary 6 student go fit solve |

Itsrm: Did someone not just say up there that he opened ride and indrive and the prices are still more or less the same with just a slightly increase?
So if the price you paid doubled perhaps becsuse of scarcity and demand. Is that a regular occurence? What will happen when all filing stations start selling. Will indrive still be able to charge double when there's less demand?
Why not just wait for the scarcity to be over? You will know the kind of analysis I'm doing. Okay let's wait and see |
Business › Re: If You Are Uber Partner In Lagos, Please Share Your Experience Here by Larry1960: 2:46pm On May 31, 2023 |
Itsrm: Did you run the numbers? Let's say you buy 5000 fuel at 184 per litre and gross 25000. You now buy the same quantity of fuel at 19000 and still gross the same 25k. You pay commission of 2500 on indrive or 5000-7500 on bolt. Where is the profit?
Even if you gross 30k on 5k fuel, I'm still not seeing the profit.
Thank God say I never invest for the business Sha this is the time to Japa from Nigeria
Important to also note that fuel can and will go as high as a thousand naira per litre. The higher the price of crude, the higher the price of fuel. What kinda of analysis are you doing nah. I didn't have fuel this morning to go pickup my girlfriend, so I decided to book indriver for my girlfriend Omo I indriver don double price normally that 1hr journey that would cost say 3k-4k is now 7-8k Guys would still make their profit d only thing b say request go decrease definitely cos people go find alternative means like entering public transport or trekking Even I dey hear say oshodi to lekki is now 2k via sienna Thank God say I never invest for the business now is the right time for person to Japa from Nigeria |

baralatie: You people have started information pilfering again 🤧🤧🤧 How now can't you see Nnpc has already put the official price now as 511 or so . So when dangote start production do you expect him to sell above that price. Don't you forgot all those logistics cost that are incurred in importation would be eliminated |
Politics › Re: NNPC Pump Price In Port-harcourt today by Larry1960: 10:22am On May 31, 2023 |
Biodun556: His own will never reach that amount. The 511 includes taxes and custom duties on the imported oil If this is the official price now that is according to global market price, then I feel when dangote start production by late July or 1st week of August, then price of fuel would be lower than #511. This is because all those costs like freight costs would be eliminated. |
