Don’t worry it will reflect today on the tracker. When did you apply if I may ask please? Duhreen: I have and the tracker’s last update was on Aug 11th. It hasn’t been updated since then. Even this yesterday correspondence hasn’t reflected there.
I will just have faith and wait for the end result. Thank you. |

Has eligibility review begun on your profile? oriented: I understand you completely. The thoughts of deferring is always too scary. I also am in this same category. I applied since June 28th. Up till now I haven’t heard a hoot from IRCC. I wonder if there are many June applicants with same challenge |

Is your visa still showing valid on the tracker? You can wait till Friday, but to play safe you could redo the medicals even though IRCC will tell you to redo your medicals it expires Yekebu: Please I have a question, the medical examination validity on my LOI is today 16th August but my flight is not till early September, do I need to redo my medicals? |

What update do you have? Ha your eligibility review begun? I applied 13th July for my cousin too but eligibility has been on since Aug 1, medical passed 2nd Aug , and ghost update last Friday. Nothing else since then CanadaStudent: Thanks for your response.
How am I going to do that? I mean create account on the tracker. I'm only checking the update on the application status. |

No update o. I helped him check tracker today self. It showed updated date as today but no obvious update. And he applied through gckey kenoja: Bro
Any update on your brother's ghost update? Did he apply via old or new portal? |
Travel › Re: Canadian Student Visa Thread Part 23 by Larryjam: 4:12pm On Aug 14, 2023 |
Normally, it’s a day after you apply on Gckey then the tracker is updated. At least I applied twice now and that was my experience. Tracker is updated 24hours after GCKey update. Except the gckey update occurs on a Friday, then you receive tracker update on Monday. Gbola007: Please after How many days after you have submitted your application were you able to create account on the tracker? |

Lol we plenty for there. stainless91: Early July applicants on new IRCC portal, wetin dey sup? Has anyone gotten a positive feedback? It seems there is loud silence from them and school is resuming September 1st. 😣😣😣 |
Travel › Re: Canadian Student Visa Thread Part 23 by Larryjam: 8:35am On Aug 11, 2023 |
Didn’t your agent inform you before deferring? I guess he did that because he felt you might not meet up with sept resumption. You two should talk about the next line of action. Please don’t give yourself high BP o. It’s not worth it. Ndukaada: Good evening Sir
Thank you for all your responses.
Please my BP is high.
An agent helped me to get admission. I am supposed to start school 6th September 2023.
I decided to apply to embassy myself. I have done my biometrics on the 8th of August 2023 and upfront medicals.
My agent sent me a message today that he deferred my admission. I have also gotten an acknowledgment message from the school that they have received my application to defer application to Spring 2024.
My school is Conestoga college.
I am confused. I need advice |

That’s the default medical status. It changes when you pass your medicals. Second question, since you uploaded the PoF in it’s required space and you are so sure it’s very clear, the. You should not worry. Lol but you are asking this particular question after you have submitted ExcellenceAb: Hi! Everyone, I noticed this in my application stage list, does that mean that I won't be requiring any medical test? I thought medical examination was compulsory for everyone staying more than 6 months.
Lastly, during the application, I added my bank statement to the documents I uploaded under POF and also among the documents I uploaded in "client information" because I wanted to make a strong explanation about it in my SOP, subtitled "funding". The problem here is that the bank statement under "client's information" appears to be very blurry but the one in POF is very clear, will this be an issue?
Thank you for your response in anticipation. |

Lol why are you worried? Yours is to wait till IRCC decides to tell you what next to do. My own opinion though. I might be wrong… tarmmey: Hello please i am confused I didn’t submit an upfront medical and my medicals changed to pass. My medicals already expired since june. I hope there is nothing to bother about. Eligibility started already too |

For the first question, yea, that’s the expectation Second question, it’s not an issue if your wife still bears her maiden name on her passport, but if you wish to change her maiden name to yours, it’s still not an issue. Just know that either ways, you still need to back it with sworn affidavits. But you said she used her new name in admission process.. and submitted the passport that bears her maiden name? How? Lastly, don’t let me say when you apply coz that’s not when the passport validity matters, when you get a positive decision and you are requested to send your passport, it must have at least 6 month validity. So it’s now your choice to decide what you want to do. As you still have time to do that. And yes, all passports have to be ready to be able to apply. I hope I’ve been able to respond to all questions? gideon19: Good day all,
Pls I am about to apply for study permit VISA for my wife while I apply for SOWP and our baby (2 years) will be on a visitors VISA (I will like to know if this is the expectation, please).
My passport will expire next year and my Wife's passport is still carrying her maiden name (although, she has sworn affidavit already) and it will expire by 2026 (although, she will be going for a 2 years course of study).
Do we need to renew all passports (myself and hers) while she also renew hers (cos of the change of name, as she used her new name in the admission process).
Is it a must to also get all 3 passports ready before VISA application as we are already trying to sort out the Baby's passport.
Responses will be well appreciated.
We are looking at Jan 2024 (Seneca). |

Don’t be confused.. that’s normal. It will change to passed when your medical result is updated on your application ehisg: I did upfront Medical and I have submitted my application since on the 20 JULY, biometric completed but I notice on my application status is telling me I don't need medical but if there is a change I will be I inform. A bit confused about that.. Gurus in the house........ |

That’s not true. I applied for visit visa for my child and medicals was requested since the number of years is d same as mine that applied for work permit . I think the only time you won’t need medicals is if the parents too applied for multiple entry visit visa. Which means they can only spend 6months max in Canada den leave Canada to return again. But if you are spending more than 6 months, u must do medicals o angie88: U applied for visiting visa for ur child and visiting visa doesn't require medicals. |

IRCC sends that to ask you why you committed a particular offence they noticed on your application eg. If you didn’t disclose a previous refusal, you submitted a fraudulent statement of account etc. it doesn’t mean your application will be rejected or approved. Depends on how well you are able to respond to it. Just note that if you are found guilty, you get 5 year ban. Ild recommend you hire an immigration lawyer to assist with that. I wish good luck! BeejayB: Hello. Does anyone know what a procedural fairness is and how to go about it. A friend of mine just got one.
I’ll be waiting for a response please |
