Exactly my point.. it’s too early to complain lol. Plus my first refusal, my eligibility didn’t show until a decision was made but it shows for my spouse. So I agree with you that a lot happens in the background that doesn’t reflect on the online status Bobomaigida: Ah ah Yemi, relax oooo
You just applied a week ago or do you mean June 28th In any case, The processing time presently is 7 weeks, so if your application is still within 7 weeks, just calm down, a lot happens that doesn't show on your portal. |

Has your eligibility review started? Well your application has obviously passed normal processing time. So it’s not a bad idea to send them a reminder… OboloLily: Good morning house. Please can I call IRCC or contact a MP concerning my study permit application which was submitted early in May. I use an agent, though the agent have sent like 3 mails but have been reluctant to call them and I am worried. Aside upfront medical pass early June no other update on my GCKey. My resumption is early September. Please I need your advise. |

Don’t stress yourself. Naso background check go Dey from start to finish. It only changes when you get a decision StanOyiga72: This is also something I am worried about. I applied on the 17th and since then it's been showing background check in progress while eligibility hadn't started. My question to those who have gone through the waiting process is; did it take this long for the background check? |

I’m also interested in his response to why they are fraudulent too zubizareta: What exactly is fraudulent about them? This is public space. Don't give wrong information. They are a private college. They don't offer programs eligible PGWP and they have never stated other wise. So how exactly are they fraudulent and who have they defrauded?? |

The mails came together both bvl nd refusal. So that’s why I asked when you submitted Bigboy75: Whew! Sorry about that. How long after the BVL did you get the refusal, was it immediately? |
Travel › Re: Canadian Student Visa Thread Part 23 by Larryjam: 10:22pm On Jul 31, 2023 |
When did you submit application? Well from my own experience, sometimes you don’t get updates on gckey and tracker but work is going on on your application. My case, medical was update and 4months later, I didn’t get updates on eligibility but got bvl nd refusal. then got updates two days after, showing eligibility as completed…. Well be optimistic coz most times, bvl comes with rejection letter. Good luck Bigboy75: My medical has not been passed and eligibility has not started but I got BVL today. What does this mean guys? |
Travel › Re: Canadian Student Visa Thread Part 23 by Larryjam: 11:26am On Jul 31, 2023 |
I suggest you wait! All you can do now is wait for a decision. Nothing more. It sometimes takes time to see updates on the tracker. So chill SQ20: Good day,
I applied again after a rejection on the 5th of July, I got BVL on thr 28th of July but no PPR.
I also checked the tracker and no details of document s there as well.
Please what do you suggest? |

Well from my own experience, rejection always comes immediately with BVL… so be optimistic nnamdi346: Thanks boss, very similar to how I drafted the responses same yesterday.
For the first, I said we underestimated the impact of staying apart as a family and had to do a reassessment of our decision...etc
For the second, because the VO wants me to demonstrate "the rationale for leaving a professional job for a menial job" in the event that I don't land a SIMILAR professional job easily, I said in my response that I am in talk with my HR for a transfer to one of our offices in Toronto, Canada (i provided evidence) and also provided email correspondences of two interviews I am having with two similar companies, one based in Toronto and the other in Vancouver as a contingency plan, in case the transfer fails. Further went ahead to say that if I eventual get an offer from any of the companies I am interviewing with, I would not be able to resume until I provide my right to work, and my HR will move things forward if I provide them with my open work permit. Then added a last line, saying while I love my job, my family is more important to me etc.
I just got a correspondence letter now. I am not sure if that is good or bad sign. What does that mean? |

Kalclinton: Hello everyone Please please I just got my student visa I was informed by IRCC on the 30th of june My problem now is that my passport would expire in 5months time and I've already applied to renew it which i was told it would be out by next week and IRCC has given me 30days to submit my passport which the deadline should be 30th of this month. You can’t use a passport less than 6 months. If you are so sure your passport won’t be ready, simply ask for extension via webform explaining why you can’t meet up with the deadline The bigger problem is I'm not sure that passport will really be out by next week like they said because this is Nigeria so in the worst case scenario it's not out yet is it advisable that i use my old passport with 5months to expire then when the new one comes out i could merge them both together. Please help I'm confused i really need to know what to do. God bless you. You can’t use a passport less than 6 months. ferdinard21: Good day house, If someone with a bachelor’s degree in medical human physiology and good work history in the hospital and volunteer services. If I decide to apply for two years diploma program in another related health care program in Canada would I be granted visa? Despite already having a bsc.
Thank you Well you have to write a very convincing SOP as to how the course you want to do in Canada would be of great benefit to your present career or how it would help your career when you return to your country. If you can do that, you are fine. Coz career progression is important to visa officers. |

Secondly, if I intend to use someone who is not my family as sponsor, what document do I need to back it up? Lastly if a huge sum is in my account, how do I justify it that it was from sales of landed property? Thank you |

donoz: Just have it in the back of your mind that this route requires patience. Maybe your agent didn't tell you. Even though it's 99% sure that you will get a work permit (temporary foreign worker), you will have to wait for a minimum of 2years. Just get your upfront medical, a bogus POF, do your Wes evaluation (for PR process),learn skills and get certified while you wait. If I may ask? How are you so sure you can get a work permit 99% ? |
