Just so you know: A "unicorn company" is a privately-held startup valued at over $1 billion. It's not a term used for random old organisations or public organisations. |

Just thought to share those of you championing support for Israel as a state. Below is Israels population percentage by religion. Muslim - 18.1% Jewish - 73.6% Christian - 1.9% Druze - 1.6% Other - 4.8% The Israelites as mentioned in the Bible does not translate to the Israeli nation as it is today. By the way .. I'm Christian. |

There's really nothing new here, and NO you can't just decide its Africas largest till it's launched and proves itself to be so. There are 310 payment apps in the world and 157 in subsaharan Africa alone, it's a very very crowded space, where all apps do or can easily do the same things as each other. He has to come in with something totally different and innovative that others can't easily copy (scan to pay and chatting are not it), so some amazing social media campaigns. Having said that, he's proven himself in another crowded space before, so good luck to him!! |
I didn't read all the posts, but one thing I must say, UK is not easy. However if you have a plan, take time to up skill and pay your dues, you'll end up smiling. Make no mistake, it'll take time, a couple of years, but eventually you'll get there. If you're lucky and come prepared with the right experience and attitude, it could take a lot less time. Many Nigerians are doing great in tech, and these salaries you see here are real and many Nigerians are earning like this: Contract IT roles: https://www.jobserve.com/gb/en/JobSearch.aspx?shid=1FB58B4D442A7AAAD4A5 |

@op , loads of good advice, but no clear cut answer. Like I tell most people, there's really no clear cut path to success out in the West. Everybody has a different story. You could do the same courses/certifications, and have similar work experiences, one person gets an excellent job, and the other is stuck with menial jobs for years. So just take all the advice you can, pray to your God (or gods) and head out. Two things I should highlight that are pretty important though: empower your wife to work, and second, don't cut off all ties in Nigeria. |

Not to talk of producing most of the world's corn, meat, cotton, soybeans, tobacco, and wheat |

I do wish we could chat longer, but I’m having an old friend for dinner Hannibal Lecter in The Silence of the Lambs Do unto others before they do unto you Igor in Van Helsing Every man dies. Not every man really lives Mel Gibson in Braveheart The path of the righteous man is beset on all sides by the iniquities of the selfish and the tyranny of evil men. Blessed is he who in the name of charity and good will shepherds the weak through the valley of darkness, for he is truly his brother's keeper and the finder of lost children. And I will strike down upon thee with great vengeance and furious anger those who attempt to poison and destroy my brothers! And you will know my name is the Lord Samuel Jackson in Pulp fiction My name is Maximus Decimus Meridius, commander of the Armies of the North, General of the Felix Legions, loyal servant to the true emperor, Marcus Aurelius. Father to a murdered son, husband to a murdered wife. And I will have my vengeance, in this life or the next. Maximus in Gladiator |
