Can anyone give me an idea of how much it costs to hire a 40ft flatbed truck to carry goods from Lagos to Port harcourt.
I just need an average price range, as well as how many days the journey takes.

Note: I just need this for certain clarification purposes, I'm not looking to invest or anything.

Something wrong with this whole story. I really don't see why 21 year old adult (with the posters support), can't leave her mums house and go sort herself out considering she's making £900 month.

@furacao , slight error there: 'it doesnt appear' , Jamaicans in the UK are VERY different from the ones in the US. The ones here in UK, 'gererally speaking' are a waste of space. Of course there will be exceptions.

Obviously this'll depend on whose sponsoring your wedding. If its the parents it only makes sense to respect their wishes. Then again, if you need to recover your wedding costs, then parents friends would be rather important.

The Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) yesterday announced a 36-man campaign committee that would drive the campaign of Prof. Chukwuma Soludo, the party’s governorship candidate in the February 6, 2010 governorship election in Anambra State.

The committee, which would be inaugurated next Tuesday is headed by Vice President Goodluck; Deputy Senate President, Senator Ike Ekweremadu, and Deputy National Chairman of PDP, Dr. Bello Haliru Mohammed.

Other members of the campaign committee as contained in a statement signed by the National Publicity Secretary of PDP, Prof. Ahmed Alkali include National Organising Secretary, Prince Uche Secondus; National Woman Leader, Hajiya Inna Ciroma, and Chief Whip, House of Representatives, Emeka Ihedioha. Also in the committee are all PDP state governors, Senators and members of the House of Representatives from the South East and National Vice Chairman, South East of the party, Chief Olisa Metuh.

Others are Governors Emmanuel Uduaghan, of Delta State; Ibrahim Idris of Kogi State; Isa Yuguda of Bauchi State;Alao Akala of Oyo State; all PDP ministers from the South East; Chief Jim Nwobodo, former Governor of old Anambra State, Senator Ayim Pius Anyim; former Senate President; Chief Emmanuel Iwuanyanwu; Prof. Jerry Gana; Senator Femi Kila, Senator Onyeabo Obi; Henry Balogu, Onyeachi Ibezue and Chief Maduka Anene Olisa.

Also in the campaign team are Azubuike Eze, Senator Bala Adamu Kariya, Dr. Igwe Aja-Nwachukwu, Chief Cletus Ibeto, Chief Arthur Eze, Chief Simon Okeke, Senator Mike Ajaegbo, Gen. Lawrence Onoja and Chuks Udemezue.

Dr. Musa Babayo, Deputy National Secretary of PDP will serve as Secretary to the Committee.

An 80,000 can only get you an entry level camera (canon 450/500/1000d). If you want reall quality photos, you should be thinking about getting a pro camera (canon 50d: £700, or 5d £1,800). Then again you have to buy lenses. Professional lenses start at about £700.

A 50,000 naira laptop will definitely be extreemly slow handling processing with Adobe photoshop, so you may want to get a computer with about 3-4GB Ram.

Studio lights: you'll probably need at least 3
Memory cards: loads
light modifiers: different sizes of softboxes, umbrellas (if you want to go really creative: octaboxes, ring lights, strip lights etc).
light stands
tripods
reflectors and diffusers
backgrounds and background supports systems
tetrabytes of external backup drives
studio props: chris, stools, curtains etc
Since your working from home, you may want to buy an externl power supply (expensive), unless you can shoot entirely with speedlights.

@okokomeji , i know you put in a lot of effort into your write up. I'm really not interested in verifying them, nor digging up what ibos have done. My simple answer to you is this: the Greek, Arabs, etc invented a whole load of stuff way back in history, does that now make them more advanced than, say the United States? or havent you heard the saying: "I get am before no be property"

I really hope that you don't go around basking in some utopian belief that your superior to all ibos, cos as far as I'm concerned, an extreemly thin line stops me putting you in the same class with akigbemaru.
