New People or noobs that are ordering directly from AliExpress should do a little research not just buy from every kind of sellers because you see cheap price.
Check the review of each sellers related to the number of orders from your country you are ordering from.
Just navigate to latest feedbacks and click on any picture ,using Nigeria as an example. You will see Nigeria flag. Just click the flag and see your country men reviews. By this , you can get the idea of shipping time and how reliable the sellers are. Do it for other stores.
To me ,goldway Hong Kong has the fastest shipping time averaging 10 to 12 days to get to naija even better than mi official. Hope it helps.

A few deals are not the cheapest but slowly, Jumia is becoming the only trusted place to get Xiaomi phones without dealing with some untrustworthy/inexperienced vendors on AliExpress + customs and the human factor.

I personally don't mind paying 1-3K extra for peace of mind.
