I think that is how it's meant to be normally. Before it now updates to arrived at destination or so.
The software they use to track it is very different from all these online one. Yellow and white background. It should be their official stuff i don't know.

Okay now i knw what you mean.. That first insert is d one in singapore... But nipost too lazy... Once an item shows despatch.. It shuld get to nigeria the ndxt day becos flight time frm SG to NG is about 18 hrs

I was at the post office to collect a different package and when the woman checked for this particular one she said that she couldn't see any information on it (normally the thing should show insert item into bag like another tracking number i gave her) but it was blank.
She was like don't worry it will come but my guy i go worry

Is the item showing arrived Nigeria already?? I also have one like that since August 13th.. Showing arrived naija on diff tracking sites but nipost said notinis showing in their website.

Shameless is an understatement. I strongly feel the problem we are facing is due to fault of the workers themselves and not necessary the federal govt most times. They just do whatever they like and say what ever they want. I called and sent an email with my tracking number ( it has been on despatched to overseas since july) I was told that it’s not in the country yet. And because I had a feeling they gave me mumu reply I decided to ask about another order that has been delivered to me already ooo since August but still showing despatched to overseas also. And I was still told that it is also yet to arrive the country.
I swear since the beginning of this year I have heard many dumb statements from some of these Nipost workers that I can’t even repeat here because the info is sooo wrong and foolish.

I tracked my packages everyday to see the latest movement. Two orders I made in June have been on dispatched to overseas since July with no update till today.
I was called this morning by the post office and I have received the packages.
After receiving the packages, just out of curiousity, I tracked the items again but it is still showing dispatched to overseas.

Nipost nor get shame.. See a phone that arrived since 13th august.. I decided to mail nipost today and ask dem hiw far... They said its not in Nigeria yet

May God help this seller and me. If Nigeria get bad rep after I collect my refund, make una blame Nipost.
And possible the crooks stealing peoples items along the way. Almost 3 months, no info on my phone.

I thought that AliExpress standard shipping is protecting the buyers money and not insuring the goods for the seller
If AliExpress pays the seller then why do sellers struggle to avoid paying the buyer if they'd still get paid by AliExpress. I don't see the sense there.

When you pay fr an item on aliexpress... Aliexprsss team act as escrow.. Wen u receive and confirm seller dey pay d seller.. If d item is lost in transit.. Since d shipment was handled by aliexpress.. Dey hav to pay u and d seller... But if d item has issue problem.. Dey only pay u and dont pay d seller.. D issue of ppl receiving refund and payin d seller again.. Dem jus de use am hammer... Unless its not aliexprezs standard bfr u pay seller directly... Dere is one xiaomi seller dat told me then wen i want to open dispute... He said please after BP expires open dispute aliexpress wil pay both of us since the shipment was made by dem... Dats hw i got to knw all this since 2018. I can imagine d ppl dos sellers don hammer frm...

Now check my screenshot.. You go see sey sellers nor even they reason the dispute for transit issue cos they wl stl get their money.. So aliexpress is losing not seller

You should know that when you got refunded.. Aliexpress paid you and the seller same amount. Thats why its aliexpress standard shipping... Aliexpress handles it unlike china registered mail and others. So the person you are to chat is aliexpress customer service.. You will pay them.. If you pay the seller. It means she got double money.
