This is bad. The existing refineries should be privatized if the government can't run state corporations. When I say privatized, I don't mean that show of shame they did with NEPA.

I want the same. We have good heads in the South already that are eminently qualified for the position and they should be the ones jostling for the position, a person from the north should not even think about it, notwithstanding the fact that he/she is also qualified and has the constitutional right to so do. In the spirit of fairness and equity, the South should have her turn.

I think it's not about cowardice, methinks the ruling elites have somehow, found a way to divide the citizenry along ethnic and religious lines. When a northerner commits a crime, his people will root for him notwithstanding, they will turn the whole thing to a North-versus-South contest. Take a look at what is happening with the NBA-Ruffai debacle wherein the MURIC and some northern branches of the association have shamelessly weaved religious and ethnocentric sentiments into it, while blatantly refusing to take a more objective approach. It is a shame.
