Politics › Re: Owerri Under Lockdown By Biafra Seccessionists!!! by lawrenceunaa: 6:52pm On Nov 13, 2015 |
PresidentBuBu: As an Igbo man i have always been divided on the Biafra issue. The reason is simple, i had always found it a waste of time and simply thought it was the product of jobless miscreants but soon i started to ask myself do we really act like a united country. Nigeria over the years has never really been a peaceful country there has always been riots over many issues we've had the Niger delta struggle, the Biafran struggle and even the Yorubas were agitated during the abiola crisis and of course the many pointless pogroms. Does this look like a united country to you. Look at newspapers everyday and check if you wont see nasty tribalistic comments from the likes of ffk okupe igbokwe junaid mohammmed, i mean people were scared Nigeria would burn or never be one again because of something as simple as an election. You even leave your state and you don't feel safe anywhere else. You hear politicians saying things like an Igbo man would never rule Nigeria. The Nigeria we are even agitating for is a failed state despite all the money it controls. The funny thing is the only place really apart from the capital is Lagos(not even a world standard city) yes the state where everything in Nigeria happens from imports to even presidential primaries but guess what half of it is in shambles and despite that it doesn't even make up to1% of Nigerias landmass, we don't know our population. Our revenue is hidden so corrupt leaders can loot politicians from the 60s some of whom who committed genocide are still leading us ethnoreligious protests and deaths happen on a daily basis, the economy is currently gasping for breadth and the government is not even batting an eyelid, no standard universities built the ones we are managing were built by the British or azikiwe and co. If you think that's bad i want you to see it from an Igbo point of view no federal presence since in 1967, no real say in thee production of the president of your country because of over bloated voters register having to travel to hostile states just or a thing as simple education just because the government refuses to do anything for you, unaccepted and collectively hated in Nigerian politics(lets face it majority of the hate for Jonathan really came form the support we had for him). You are always the predominant victims in pogroms that happen in other parts of the country and the government doesn't even care(THIS CAUSED A CIVIL WAR PEOPLE) and the most annoying thing is no matter how many times you complain about it everyone tells you to shut up because everyone else is suffering and smiling. Many of your people have to go to crime to cater for themselves and everyone in your country sees you as untrustworthy and fraudulent. You have to beg, cajole, promise to support, praise, remind the government for probably the MOST IMPORTANT BRIDGE IN NIGERIA. And then there is the promise of a Biafran a place where you can create your own country with a constitution that caters to the need of of your people rather than some selfish elements. A place where your votes are more likely to count than it ever did in the "ONE NIGERIA". A place where you do not have to reject your ethnicity to be noticed by the government. It might sound like a grand illusion to most people but an illusion is always better than having to face a horrible reality. Then there is the Nigerian reaction to the Biafran struggle most serious governments in the world world would take the agitation seriously i mean bigger countries like the soviet union had been dissolve for far less reasons but what do we hear ABSOLUTE SILENCE. Rather we hear statements from politicians and citizens alike such as they are miscreants, they are irrelevant,Igbo land is landlocked, they want Biafra, they want to die like their parents , they are delusional. These comments like it or not will not stop the agitation like it or not they would only serve as to further drive a wedge between us all. I believe in a Nigeria in which we will be internationally recognised as a first world country where we can be proud to carry our passport anywhere in the world where our children can compete with the best there is in the world. Believe me this is the desire of every true Nigerian patriot everywhere but guess what : we are not anew and young nation we are over fifty years in age do you think it is possible when we let tribalism determine our leaders for us. Every election i have seen potential wonderful leaders thrown away because they are not rich enough or they don't belong to the biggest party, we are currently recycling one of our former leaders, i ask then, when shall we the youth get the real chance to rule our nation when shall we allow fresh leaders with bright ideas the chance to govern our nation. Just imagine a situation that Osinbajo was currently our president, the opposition would not even find a chance to complain. Every serious prospering nation had to make sacrifices to progress look at South Africa Germany Rwanda Brazil these are countries that had to undergo a drastic revolution to finally progress. Why not Nigeria? The answer is because we don't think with a united mind we have a situation where some of our leaders would prefer to marginalise a section than the upliftment of thiers and in that lies the real problem. Mandela was once called a terrorist, Switzerland and Luxembourg are landlocked nations and a seaport can even be created in the imo or azumini river with a serious leader however all these things are just distractions for now. It is not by killing or threatening to kill people if they disagree that you will get their love. I was always skeptical about the Biafran agitation but seeing recent events has made me more and more in love of the idea. I have a lot to lose personally because all my property and life is in Lagos but that is not a good enough reason why i should discourage my people from airing their grievances if Nigeria really does love Igbos i should not be scared in the first place. With vision we can create a new city even greater than Lagos. I use to be a proponent of one Nigeria but things have changed. Biafra is not just an agitation it is an idea that has lived through generations. The mighty soviet union dissolved so also the Roman and ottoman empires. No nation on the surface of the earth is permanent. Igbo people want a country where they can leave in peace. We are not poor : Imo and abia state produce up to $4billion dollars a year in oil sales alone that is more than even some African countries. However it is time for Nigeria to start treating us and all other citizens rightly, because like it or not these are just signs of a new greater revolution on the rise and when it comes we will not be able to ignore it. So i saw give us good governance or give us Biafra. arrange ur work |

Truckpusher: It might interest you to know that the Niger Delta man lost his rights to his oil the day the Igbo man started a war he couldn't win and every part of this region was seen as a war booty. So continue mocking your own defeat even as you continuously give us more reasons to remain where we are - Had the war gone your way we wouldn't have had access to the oil still so it's a 50-50 situation for us.
There is no difference between you and the Northerners and the Westerners - They simply ganged up and beat you in your own game and we the Niger Delta people became collateral damages. That is your shame and not ours - That other major tribes took away your younger brothers right under your watch as a result of your greed and recklessness is your shame my friend.
Go figure......... u re now younger brother to Igbo. Hypocrite what have to say abt the bastard sell out saro wiwa |

MCMLXXVI: Imo has less people to pay, therefore it has less debt. It has about 5 billion naira to pay, and about 4.8 billion naira earnings, therefore the debt is at +200 million or thereabout.
AKS has 17 billion to pay, and 16 billion earnings. The debt is at 605 milla.
But AKS is still generally more sustainable than Imo. Did you miss that part? u cant be more business oriented than igbo man. In business what matters is profit. If like earn billions without profit u lost |

MCMLXXVI: Says the bastard from Yoruba land, the producers of the worst looters and criminals who are only good at pointing at others while their assses stink up the building. If you would be so kind as to remind us again the "moral, ethical and spiritual grounding" Obasanjo had when he squandered 16 billion dollars to manufacture nothing but darkness for Nigeria, I would immensely appreciate it. Never have I seen a more repulsive set of humanoid wastebags who glamourize hypocrisy, greed and fiscal wastefulness as much as Yorubas. Isn't it funny that you talk about Stella Oduah buying SUVs, but praise your nauseating crook Fashola when he so shamelessly justified his 139 million naira borehole as "being a lawyer and not signing cheques"? Is that your own definition of moral, ethical and spiritual grounding? Your Femi Fani-Kayode who served as Minister for Aviation and under whose watch billions were carted away from the ministry, does that also count? A simple look at the history of ministries since Nigeria's existence would expose you and your race of vultures for the kleptomaniacs you are.
Even in law enforcement, Yoruba people have never failed to showcase their thieving talents. Does the name Tafa Balogun ring a bell? The very man who was elevated to the HIGHEST post in the Police force, but still didn't fail to show his pathological penchance for embezzlement. The man who was supposed to catch the thieves, but ended up the king of thieves.
Now, let us even take a look at your states and how they've been governed so far. From Osun to Oyo, Ekiti to Ogun, Ondo to even Kwara, the story remains the same - debt, debt, debt. Unjustifiable debt, collected in the name of government but diverted to the pockets of your vile, greedy, vaucous, kleptomaniac leaders. Iddiotic, ill-planned, vainglorious capital projects and white elephants which serve no purpose but to massage the egos and line the pockets of your "morally, ethically and spiritually grounded leaders". From Opon Imo, to OYES, YESO to OMeal, Fake IGRs to hunger games, spine-crushing penury to state-issued IOUs, dear Adminisher, the joke Is-On-U. 5000 likes |

hammariise: FORWARDED AS RECEIVED:
An informal Census was conducted by an Igbo Organization. The Group discovered that there are Twenty Million Igbos living in Northern Nigeria, out of which Sixteen Million are permanently resident and Four Million are Economic Migrants moving on seasonal basis.
In addition, they found out that there are Four Million Northerners living in Igbo Land, out of which Two Million are permanent residents and the remaining Two Million are Economic Migrants switching on seasonal basis. What is intriguing was that the entire Four Million Northerners living in Igbo land are uneducated menial laborers and petty traders viz watchmen, Cattle attendants in abattoirs, Cobblers etc.
Consternatingly, there was a single account of a Tiv Man, a Christian, from Benue who built a Petrol Station along Enugu bye-pass in Enugu State, however, on the day of commissioning the indigenes discovered that the Station belonged to a Northerner and insisted vehemently by interdicting its operations , that the said Station must be sold to an Igbo Indigene before it would be allowed to operate.
Today, throughout Nigeria, it is only in Igbo Land that no other Nigerian is allowed to gain admission into their Universities, Employment or Political appointments in their domains. Yet, in the North and the South West there are States that have appointed Igbos as Commissioners and Advisers eg Lagos, Kano, Yobe, Borno etc.
As big as the Onitsha International Market is, no other tribe is allowed from Yoruba land or the North to have even a corner shop, yet they are in all Markets across the North and South West without any hinderance.
Anyim Pius Anyim, is the only SGF in Nigerian History that has 100% Igbos as support Staff in his Office. Is he an SGF for Nigeria or Biafra? Igbos should learn to tolerate others!!! And shut their bloody mouth, I vote they should get their Biafran country and leave our markets, Lands and all for us "the almajiris" we are damn tired of their imaturity and lack of respect for their leaders, elders and betters sharap Igbo universities use quota system and even with that this northern illiterates still wouldn't beat cutoff. An Igbo man knows fully well that Hausa don't build but a hut in Igbo land so y would say the forced the Hausa to sale his fuel statio --where is thy source. Igbos are more accommodating than any tribe in Nigeria, everybody minds oneys own business Igbo hawk gala in lagos , Yoruba and Hausa girls hawk dogoyaro and other concoction yet no body attacks them, suya man sales all round aba and SE , herdsmen attack farmlands and when issues escalate we don't brag about being their host unlike our sophisticated illiterates from the waste side. |

All phones in the Niger Delta are sucked for information to the callers, callers - callers etc.c with all permutations possible. Nigeria has acquired capabilities to take out anything within its borders. That they are talking to them is not panic but normal security procedures. They particularly want to draw relationship maps between all militant groups to get at the sponsors. I guess u re yoluba: it is only ur tribe that will respond with harsh and unmannered words yet if an Igbo insult u , u claim they are abusive.
