Truckpusher, going by your poost, I can tell you reason like a kid, so if we agree that etche bonny opobo and vice versa aren't alaigbo but ijawland, does it change the fact that it is still igboland? Do you speak for these igboid groups? I mean reason na, reason! Because of land? These people aren't ijaws but igbos, leave that and face the main issue on ground, if asari can join the struggle who are you? Infact a non-entity, our elders says that what an old man sees a child cannot, indeed you are a child. let's watch, in 10 years we wnt see 40% derivation nt to talk more of 100%, the northerners have played the ball well and guess what oil is becoming useless, who mines in the north?, northerners, who drills in the south? ,northerners. Truckpusher, you ought to be hanged, how can you wish underdevelopment for your ethnic group because of hatred for the igbos . I will never take any of your word serious, ever, you and barcarnista.... If you are close to God you should know biafra has been ordained in heaven, Yes! I don't care what you think, you are among the 0.000001 percenters and anyone listening to these lots suffering from emotional mangamanga will eventually get infected. Biafra is more than resource control, because at the end of the day you will never get resource control, ever and when the oil finally depletes and funds used to develop the mining sector and also crude oil discoveries in the north, watch how your region will be dumped like an ugly wretched tanned yansh babe from the west, because after oil, you guys are as good as useless! Keep basking in delusion. Nonsense!!! Mtchewww

Truckpusher:
When you lay claim to opobo, bonny and Port Harcourt as far as Ogba,Egbema,Ndoni,Etche and Ikwerre as belonging to the South East what were you trying to get at?

When you started renaming Port Harcourt what were you trying to arrive at?

Like I said ,it is only an Ijaw man who doesn't understand the historical importance of the civil war which the various ethnic groups of the Niger Delta were massacred in their thousands by both Nigerian soldiers and Biafran soldiers of Eastern extraction would go into any alliance with the Igbo man on the promises of a better deal that isn't on any solid documentation and full participation.

I know you'll either abuse me or others will for sure , especially those NL resident Niger Delta anthropologist of Igbo extraction whose claim to know the origin of the Niger Delta people more than they do , which is simply sickening and a great insult that has been taken into account.

Quick questions: Why do you refer to the Niger Delta people as traitors after you started a war they knew nothing about?

Why did the old Eastern region reject the creation of Rivers state unlike the Western region agreed to the creation of the Mid West states which comprises of today's Delta and Edo states ?

Why did the Eastern region arrest Isaac Adaka Boro after he declared Niger Delta republic and sentenced him to death in 1964 and only to declare Biafra republic in 1967 and wants him to fight alongside with them?

Your bitterness with respect to the the brighter side of evolving realities intrigues me to say the least.

This is the first time I am exposed to perceive that slavery in the hands of oppressors is better than joining forces with a movement destined to freedom.

Think twice and appreciate that freedom is not given but taken. Take the golden opportunity or die a slave.!!!!?
What is the essence of running away from an old slave master to languish in the hands of a new slave driver?

Blah blah blah blah.......A reply to another rants from an expansionist is a waste of sweat to but men must always reply to falsehood, no matter who is propagating it be it the slave himself or his master.

And on what ground have you choosen to speak on their behalf?

Only those who see the cup as half empty ask this kind of deluded question. Since I am not one, the answer cannot come from me.

In the voice of elders, "An overgrown tree can never be bent" Biafra is sprouting and can be configured to suit all unlike the hardened Nation which can never be straitened in our favor. I guess you understand better.

I am an Ijaw from Odi town in Kolokuma/Opokuma L.G.A of Bayelsa State.

In recent times, the polity is filled with demonstrations/protests from the Indigenous Peoples of Biafra (IPOB) in the South East and Some South - South States due to the arrest and detention of their leader Nnamdi Kanu by the F.G. Some supposedly "proud Nigerians" have capped it as an opposition sponsored protests cos of the lost elections of the PDP, which is nothing but ridiculous and preposterous. It is a fact there has always been a pro-biafra movement from the regime of OBJ to GEJ.

Now my main aim of putting the piece together is to call on the Ijaw Nation to stand up and take the side of truth. The side of truth against injustice. The side of truth for equity and fairness. The side of truth that there are many voices against the present structure/system in the country.

While the Ijaw Nation as arguably the fourth largest tribe in the country have contributed immensely to the Nigerian state, we are been bedeviled with youth restiveness, marginalization, under development and continuous suffering of our people for God knows how long.

Can we continue to tell ourselves that all is well when it is not? For how long shall we continue to live like this? For how long shall we endure the pains and sufferings of our people due to the silent treatment the Federal government has given to the supposedly "minorities"? Why do we fake our unity? Of what gain is one Nigeria? So that the born to rule over-populated North will continue to marginalize, oppress and feed fat on the God given resources of the supposedly " minorities "?

Why has the Buhari government dumbed the Confab 2014 report? Does it not favor the North? Implementing it is a step closer in addressing the yearnings and agitations in the country. I think it's time we the South should occupy Nigeria and protest for the implementation of that report. It is paramount for Peace, Unity and Development of the country.

The Ijaw Nation and other Nationalities in the Niger Delta have asked for resource control, fiscal federalism, or regionalism by ethnicity for ages now, but what have we got? A mere 13% derivation. The Ijaw Nation have asked for the de-balkanization and creation of 3 Ijaw states but we only got 1 in 1996, thereby making many Ijaws as minorities in those states they find themselves.

Taking the side of truth and standing with our Igbo brothers will send a message to the FG that there are discontented views and opinions in the creeks that more and more Niger Deltans are beginning to buy the idea of self rule/determination. The Ijaw Nation should stand with our Igbo brothers through thick and thin. We should not do the same mistake our fathers did in 1967 by siding with the FG. It was a big mistake. If we stood with them then, only God knows how far we would have come now.

The Ijaw National Congress (INC), Ijaw Youth Council (IYC), or the Ijaw Peoples Assembly (IPA) should issue a a statement condemning the act of violence and intimidation meted on the protesters by the authorities, and Nnamdi Kanu should be released unconditionally.

There is a saying that " the oppressed will continue to be oppressed only to the extent the oppressed allow the oppressor". If you keep quiet when you see oppression, you have taken the side of the oppressor. Evil thrives only when good men decide to keep quiet.

True talk.

Above is the proposed Biafra Bill of Right or Charter. Look at it and check if the current state offers Ijaws and other ethnic minorities in Niger Delta anything close to this.

Cc: Truckpusher, Etal that doubt sincerity of the Igbos. Just think of Ijaw land in 30 years time when oil resources would have been depleted or become like coal. "A Stitch in time saves nine".

In Biafra, there will be Igbo, Ibibio, Ogoni, Ijaw, Edo, and Northern Provinces.
Each of these provinces controls their resources 100%.
The population of non-Igbos is almost equal to the Igbos.

Now tell me, how can the Igbo dominate or cheat others out of their resources when the Igbo don't control it?

Edo has no business with biafra

They are not Biafrans

It might interest you to know that the Niger Delta man lost his rights to his oil the day the Igbo man started a war he couldn't win and every part of this region was seen as a war booty. So continue mocking your own defeat even as you continuously give us more reasons to remain where we are - Had the war gone your way we wouldn't have had access to the oil still so it's a 50-50 situation for us.

There is no difference between you and the Northerners and the Westerners - They simply ganged up and beat you in your own game and we the Niger Delta people became collateral damages. That is your shame and not ours - That other major tribes took away your younger brothers right under your watch as a result of your greed and recklessness is your shame my friend.

Go figure.........
u re now younger brother to Igbo. Hypocrite what have to say abt the bastard sell out saro wiwa

This is the second time I've seen you include edo in this your statement. Dude Edo, excluding igbanke, is not included in biafra.

If you exclude Edo, you stand a chance of losing Anioma too. Former midwest was not part of Biafra.
Countries are created out of internationally known boarders.
We have 2 such maps: 1906 and 1960.

If you exclude Edo, then we are limiting ourselves to 1960 map and we lose Anioma.
If you include Edo, then we are going with 1906 map and Anioma would be part of us.

Ask yourself, why Darfur was not included in South Sudan?
The answer is simple.
Darfur was not part of internationally recognised territory of South Sudan and Darfur remained with Sudan despite being Christians and fighting alongside the South. They were excluded because a territory with the South was not internationally recognised.

Hell igbanke, the only anioma group in edo state are being marginalized and yet you think the rest of us want to share a nation with ppl like that. If you include Edo then best believe count anioma out.

Why do you think that when Biafra becomes a country, you won't be marginalized?
Do you think that the izon nation and the rest won't suffer at the hands of these self righteous people?
Do you think there won't be tribalism then?
Do you think the igbos won't act like gods over the rest tribes?
What is the assurance that the sufferings of our people will be over?

... don't you think it is better to remain in servitude than running away just on the promises of an Eldorado from an unlikely friend or a brother that has shown time without numbers that he is capable of enslaving you too.

Show me one thing....either by ideology or your love for these people.
When the chips were down, these 'unlikely friend or brother' stood behind your Ijaw son through thick and thin. Your masters from the Southwest taunt us today because of that singular action... Do we really care? No!

beat a slave severely, torture him, break his spirit, make him suffer hell then he'll be scared of going against you (his master or mistress) grin
i learnt that from the legend of the seeker season 1 episode 8 - Denna (the modsirt)

That's what has happened to some ND folks grin
If I may ask brother; does this work only for the black man or for all the known races in this world?

Actually, I'm in no position to give guarantees, as I'm not a member of the inner caucus. That's why I insist that you can easily negotiate and get close to 90% in Biafra (a new nation) than in the present Nigeria. But the only thing I can say for certain is that Igbos have no agenda to enslave you, and there is no proof of previous enslavement. I can't also claim that I love Ijaws, but I have no reason to hate them either. Biafra movement is not motivated by love or hatred for Ijaws, but by desire for something much better and different from Nigeria.

You just have to believe you won't be worse off, and then take a leap of faith. Fear is one factor that prevent people from reaching their potential. In your case, ii is the fear of an illusory domination by Igbos to the extent you want to remain in servitude in Nigeria. If Jacob's children had thought like you, they wouldn't have left Egypt where they were slaves.

But if you truly believe that you are better off in servitude Nigeria than potentially getting a better deal in Biafra, I'll say good luck!
Seems we really reason alike. Mehn, I'll like to meet you in person.

Did you or did you not say "if you leave edo then you'll lose anioma too. If you include Edo then anioma would be part of us." Yes or no?
