Truth is, not all lawyers are liars but most [b]criminal law[/b]yers are. They merely use loopholes within the law to create a false impression of the reality.
An armed robber comes to u to defend him. Despite seein d overwhelming evidence and hearing his confession, you still agree to represent him. U get to court and plead "not guilty". For heaven's sake what r u trying to do. No matter how diplomatic u are. A LIE is still a LIE. There's no such thing as a good lie.
The truth is a lot of lawyers know that the client committed the crime but still go ahead to defend him. All u hear in the court room is "Not Guilty". I see them as liars and that wicked cos u pervert the justice u r supposed to uphold.

2 Very Embarassing moments:

1. When i was in JS 2 in Federal gorvernment College, ogbomoso (around 1993). Some expelled SS3 students came into the school to take 'revenge' by killing students. Their aim was to "Dagbese sorun principal". They started beating students so the house prefects ordered every1 to leave for the school field within 5 secs (for protection). This was about 7.15am on a Saturday morning(it was a borading school). I was about takin my bath so i had only a towel on. I couldnt even pick my slippers. I got to the field on towels only!!. We had evry student there, over 2000 boys and girls and i was almost naked. I was just 12 then and skinny, i couldnt hide. Come see shame.

2. I attended NIFES fellowship while in the University of PortHarcourt. I was very well loved by people and i was invited to render a special song. Immediately i faced the crowd, my liver cut!
It was first time i tried singin infront of a large crowd (of about 600ppl), I missed my lines, and d more i tried to salvage the moment the more i messed up..with my voice literarily shaking . I was greatly embarassed. When i sing today, people hardly believe i passed through such.

The annoying fact is that the menace is increasing rather than decreasing. Even professionals are goin into fraud. I know a lot of doctors, lawyers who r into 419. Fake online banking sites, wash wash, counterfiet notes, ebay scam, fake checks, datin scams etc. Its become a hydra-headed monster. Is there really hope?
