I agree that AA's have bad spending habits but my question to you is: Do you have any ideas on fixing this issue? or is this just to point out a negative?

AA's have enough folk that can point out problems (and many of their so called leaders profit from that). AA's need people that can point out solutions, not the problems that everyone knows.

@Lazy: Lazy (man), if Jesus was what you said he is in Arabic; why do the Arab Christians call him, Jesus; Isa, and God Almighty Creator Allah? Why does the Qur'an refers to Jesus; Isa bin Marian, Massiah, rasul bani Israil, ruh llah, etc? Now am going to kill your argument above by attacking what you wrote below.
Was Jesus the speaker here or Paul/somebody else, but not Jesus? If Jesus is not the speaker, how can you makethe statement above or, unless Jesus had invaded the body of Paul/the speaker of this verse, hence his reincarnate? Is this possible? I doubt it! All you have put forward is a deceitful way to lure the unsupecting!
See what I mean? Another classical deceit! Going outside the boundary of responsibility. You see, Jesus never ministered outside the boundary of Children of Israel. But Paul, had to ignore jesus and go as far as he can, to deceive people and gain their commitments.
This guy was more influencial that Jesus on those who claimed to be in a religion named after Jesus! The camelion pretends to be weak when he is talking to weak people! see the graet deceptions?
Show me a scripture where Christ stated that you must use a certain language to refer to him? All Language is , is apart of culture, cultures are different and Christ can adapt because he is all things,

To me I think you have an agenda because until I see some scripture, to me it is your opinion and not the WORD.

@poster

This is silly! Language is a part of the culture of a people and Christ is all things to all men, so that he might save them. What he is saying is that when he is being worshiped by Arabs he is Arab. So when he is Arab, and their language is Arabic, God's name is Allah. When he is with English, and their language is English, God's name is God. You cannot express spirituality outside of culture and Christ can adapt to any culture as long as you follow his laws. People have to learn how to separate culture from spirituality.

1 Corinthians 9:20-22

20 And unto the Jews I became as a Jew, that I might gain the Jews; to them that are under the law, as under the law, that I might gain them that are under the law;

21 To them that are without law, as without law, (being not without law to God, but under the law to Christ,) that I might gain them that are without law.

22 To the weak became I as weak, that I might gain the weak: I am made all things to all men, that I might by all means save some.

I agree! They are not in the same league! It isn't even close. I know Oprah would even agree!

I want Clinton to win because I think the GOP has better chances against her.At worst,if the GOP were to lose, I would prefer the Clintons given Clinton's relatively good record in 8 years in office.I just don't see what Obama's policies actually are.
I don't know about that. They have a lot of baggage also. People also want change and the difference between Hillary and Bill is that Bill can speak so that people feel that change is going to occur. Hillary has no charisma at all and cannot reach people.

Foreign AffairsRe: Obama For President? by lazy(m): 1:47am On Jan 09, 2008
The thing that I like about Obama was that when he in Selma, Alabama to commemorate "Bloody Sunday" he didn't patronize the brothas and sistas down there with the same ole stuff. He talked about how African Americans need to do better and do a self analysis on what they need to do to better themselves because it is no longer genocide that is occurring but African American committing suicide.

Hillary was there at the same time and just did the same ole "White" Liberal stuff of trying to play to the crowd through emotion and telling them that she is going to take care of them (basically like massa did). Oh and what made it worst she used her best AAVE (African American Venacular English aka Ebonics) voice .

I am surprised that Obama is getting this much support because there have been other politician thoroughout the history of the States that have run for other offices (and not running on that they are African American) and when it came down to voting for an African American they never did.

I personally don't think any politician can really make the changes they are saying. This is all campaign talk and it is the job of the people to pick the person who can make good on 5% of what they are saying.

Don't get me wrong Lazy, I live in the US and I do not base my insights on television alone. You say I'm making generalisations but why is it just a handful that makes it to college?
Oh, You are in the States. The only reason I said that is I know many African Americans that went to college and it seems like you may not. I think that the real issue is more with the African American males in handfuls going to college because the African American women go to college at a rate similar to other groups.
