First they will ask you where you come from, then they will ask you to pronounce some words or sentence in Your local Dialects Even IFE and MODAKEKE were abled to singled out themselves due to their different dialects, if you are a Yoruba living in Nigeria you must be able to speak in Your Local Dialects because it is part of you. If IFE and MODAKEKE could fight themselves despite having the same Cultures and Language, and If Yoruba Could Experienced Civil War among themselves to the Extent that some tribes got extincted despite having same Culture, then there is no way other tribe can escape any Violence or get any upper hand just because you know the Culture and Language. The Best thing is to avoid it but don't think you can have any benefits just because you know the Language and Culture Yoruba is deeper than you think.

Nigeria imports the vast majority of her staple food, though states like anambra have begun investing in Rice farming.

Yam itself is grown across Nigeria and especially in the middle belt.

Pepper, water melon and carrot are not staple foods. They are spices and fruits.
And there are many other fruits that are grown in the south.
Worst come to worst, those spices and fruits can be grown in various southern states or imported from Cameroon which is geographically closer than most parts of the north.
