Car TalkBEWARE!!! Substandard Auto Parts Can Kill You And Your Vehicles by Lazyreporta(op): 10:08pm On Feb 21, 2016
When you go for a parts replacement,do you really know what you are getting? Consider this: many of the parts your mechanic gives you can be inferior, substandard and downright deadly.

Recently, the Director-General of the Standards Organisation of Nigeria (SON) Dr. Joseph Odumodu, disclosed that 95 per cent of the auto parts imported into the country are sub-standard. The question then is, why did the SON allow these parts to come in to the country in the first place? That’ll be a story for another day.

It is however alarming that in our markets today, inferior automobile parts are passed on to end users as genuine articles, without any care about the after effect of such a part failing.

Auto parts are considered inferior when their specifications do not meet industry standard requirements. In a bid to make a quick buck, unscrupulous auto part importers bring in these parts and pass them on to retailers who then pass them off to end users as genuine parts. These auto parts retailers connive with dubious mechanics to reap-off unsuspecting motorists. In some rare instances though, we have seen motorists who willingly patronize sub-standard auto parts, with the full knowledge that these parts are inferior, just to make some ill-advised savings.

Genuine parts are designed to keep your vehicle in the best operating conditions over a long period of time, eliminating unnecessary downtime in your operation. The risk of using substandard auto parts is vehicle failure which may require extensive repairs much more than the perceived savings you were trying to make going after substandard products. The use of inferior auto parts may also lead to injuries or loss of lives if accidents occur.

A FEW TIPS ON HOW TO BUY GENUINE AUTO PARTS

– Compare prices: first check with your local vendor and then get online. Everyone who sells genuine auto parts pays the same amount to the manufacturer.

– Look out for part numbers listed on the product before buying. The absence of this is a red flag.

– Look out for signs of re-packaging. Properly scrutinize the packages of auto parts you may have purchased in the past. A different looking package may be a sign that the product may have been counterfeited.

– Auto part end users should not encourage the proliferation of substandard auto parts by always insisting on getting the ‘best deals’ in terms of prices as the best deal may sometimes be a wrong deal.

Car TalkWhat You Should Know About 'the Next Generation Hyundai' (SANTA FE) by Lazyreporta(op):
By Otongaran Ntakobong grin

Remember back in 2006 when the first line of KIA vehicles made their debut in show rooms across the country, many people wrote them off as another cheap-cum-substandard product from Asia, especially with the menace caused by the ‘Chinco phone revolution’. My dad was one of those who had scathing remarks for the product. His opinion for the KIA however was to change when he took a ride in a friend’s KIA. His words: “the car feels good and the handling is just great”.

With time, the KIA brand gained favourable public perception owing to their sustained and unconventional marketing methods. One newspaper termed it “KIA KIA marketing” because so many cars of the KIA brand rolled off the production lines in South Korea into the homes of many middle class Nigerians. Upper class Nigerians who patronized the brand saw it as ‘the other car’, much like ‘the other woman’.

Enter the Hyundai, the parent company of the KIA. Hyundai rolled out models which have very sleek and sexy feminine attraction, further bolstering its brand acceptability. The 2017 Hyundai Santa Fe is therefore a statement in consolidating the Korean car maker’s position as a brand of first choice.

The 2017 Hyundai Santa Fe is a make-over on all fronts. Sporting a new face, the Hyundai Santa Fe receives a new brushed-appearance front grille, LED daytime running lights, new headlights and tail lights, dual exhausts and new panel trimmings. These improvements, according to a statement by the Korean auto maker, span everything from a fresh exterior design and LED lighting signatures to additional in-dash entertainment system, convenience and safety technologies and a new Drive Mode selection with Sport, Eco and Normal settings. The statement added that over 350 component parts have been updated, representing about 25 percent of the Santa Fe upgrade.

Under the hood, the 2017 Santa Fe offers three options. A 2.4-liter four-cylinder direct-injected engine pulled by 185 horses, the turbocharged 2.0-liter four-cylinder engine with 240 horses dragging it along or the more powerful 3.3-liter Lambda II V6 engine, with 290 horses for company. All three options however utilize a high-pressure direct injection system and Dual Continuously Variable Valve Timing (D-CVVT). A six-speed automatic transmission system is standard on all Santa Fe models.

Safety and entertainment features of the 2017 Santa Fe have been redesigned to give up-market brands a run for their money. Standard Santa Fe features include rear-view Camera, automatic on/off headlights, remote keyless entry with alarm, heated exterior power mirrors with driver’s blind spot, LED headlight accents, daytime running lights, steering-wheel-mounted audio and cruise control and Bluetooth hands-free smart-phone system. The interior sports a Sat-Nav system and an updated 12-speaker Infinity Logic7® audio system which features QuantumLogic® Surround and Clari-Fi™ Music Restoration Technology.  The next-generation Hyundai Blue Link® provides a full suite of connected safety and diagnostic features, as well as features that are only possible with an embedded connected car system, such as Remote Start with Climate Control, Stolen Vehicle Recovery and Remote Door Lock/Unlock.
Android Auto™ support provides seamless and intuitive operation of the most commonly-used smart-phone functions, including navigation with Google Maps™, live audio streaming, voice-controlled search capabilities and the use of more than 40 approved smart-phone apps. The Android Auto™ is compatible with Android phones running Android 5.0 Lollipop or higher Android versions.
Safety features include Vehicle Stability Management (VSM) with Electronic Stability Control (ESC) and Traction Control System. It also comes standard with seven airbags, including a driver’s knee airbag. The 2017 Santa Fe features a four-wheel disc braking system with ABS, along with an Electronic Brake-force Distribution (EBD) and Brake Assist. There is also the Hill-start Assist Control (HAC) with Downhill Brake Control (DBC) and a Tire Pressure Monitoring System (TPMS).

The 2017 Hyundai Santa Fe takes safety a notch higher with the adaptive cruise control, lane departure warning, automatic emergency braking with pedestrian detection and adaptive lights with high-beam assist.

PoliticsThe Hash Tag #Made In Nigeria Is Now Trending by Lazyreporta(op):
For the past few hours, the hash tag #MadeInNigeria has been trending, with @APCNigeria leading the charge.
#MadeInNigeria became popular after @innosonmotors posted photos of their #MadeInNigeria vehicles. Shortly after that, Senator Ben Bruce posted photos of the CEO of Innoson Motors delivering a #MadeInNigeria SUV to his residence. Though he was criticised for this apparent show off, with some calling him a hypocrite because his son recently graduated from Loyola Marymount University in California.

This not withstanding however, the support and favourable opinion for #MadeInNigeria reached a crescendo when it became the hottest trending topic on twitter. The Senate President @bukolasaraki showed off a video of his visit to a ‘Made in Aba Trade Fair’. The top tweet was from @omojuwa who twitted that the biggest problems facing Nigerian entrepreneurs are: “1. CAC. Set up to frustrate us. 2. Property acquisition process”. This comment was however countered by @ntak_ib who said he registered a company with CAC just last year without any hassle. He urged @omojuwa to stop looking at the negative side of things all the time.

Tweets from Nigerians on the topic were in the main, appreciative of entrepreneurs who show creativity in their work. Some urged the government to do more to encourage Nigerian entrepreneurs. @eniola_opeyemi twitted “#MadeInNigeria can get better if the govt is ready to invest massively and consider reduced taxes pending the growth of our industries.” Others urged entrepreneurs, especially those from Aba to improve on the quality of their work.

PoliticsLesson From Turkey by Lazyreporta(op): 8:20am On Feb 18, 2016
Turkey is in the present day Europe and partly in Asia.
•Apostle Paul was a citizen of Turkey because Tarsus exists in Turkey.
•Christianity existed in Turkey for about 1,023 years while Christianity has only existed in Nigeria and Ghana for 172yrs starting from when Rev. Birch Freeman came to Badagry in 1842.
•The seven churches Jesus spoke to in Revelations 2 & 3(Ephesus, Smyrna, Pergamum, Thyatira, Sardis, Philadelphia and Laodicea,) existed in the old Turkey.
•The disciples were first called Christians in Turkey(Antioch)
•Turkey once had the largest Christian auditorium in Europe called Hagia Sophia in Constantinople.
•Mary the mother of Jesus was taken to Turkey by Apostle John and till date, her room has become a tourist centre.

TURKEY TODAY

•Present day Turkey now has 96% muslims & 0.02% Christians(less than 130,000).
•The Hagia Sophia(once largest church in Europe) was taken over by muslims and converted to a mosque for over 400yrs and later used as an Islamic Museum

WHY CHRISTIANITY COLLAPSED IN TURKEY

•Emphasis on doctrinal differences weakened the Turkish church.
•Rivalries amongst denominations
•Petty politics in church coupled with ethnic biases.
•The Turks were building big cathedrals instead of building men.
HOW IT HAPPENED

•Osman Ghazi discovered the disunity amongst Christians and used it to fight a Jihad that led to a mass genocide of the Armenians, the Hellen and Turks of that day. In fact, the weapon of war used was designed by a Turkish Christian.
•Many Christian women converted to Islam to save their lives and some were raped and killed.
•Osman Ghazi started the Ottoman empire which gave muslims political post and made it a religion of the state.

IS NIGERIA/GHANA HEADING THE WAY OF TURKEY

•Virtually all the mistakes the church in Turkey made, the Nigerian/Ghanaian church have made it.
•We are building Cathedrals at the expense of discipling men.
•Disunity amongst churches
•Ethnicity in the church
•Denominational rivalry, etc.
•Sharp division along doctrinal lines

MORE FACTS

•The spiritual foundation of Turkey is stronger than that of Nigeria/ Ghana and Christianity existed for over 1000yrs in Turkey unlike ours which is just 172yrs but Islam Radicalism uprooted it. If it can happen in Turkey, it can also happen IF we are not careful.
•The menace of Boko Haram has destroyed a lot of churches in the Northern Nigeria and it may take another 200yrs to evangelize Borno State alone.
•There is a secret agenda to Islamize Nigeria and other African nations as contained in Abuja declaration of 1989.

DON'T SAY IT CAN'T HAPPEN HERE, IF WE DON'T RIGHT OUR WRONGS AS A CHURCH.

SOLUTION

•HEART-FELT Intercession
•Aggressive evangelism- the terrorist reached out to the youths in the norths first and gave them AK-47 and bombs, if we had reached out to them on time,
they'll be carrying BIBLES today.
•Mission support:-God is holding the church responsible for Boko Haram, yet we are blaming the government. If we had supported missions and
missionaries, we would have those insurgents to Christ long ago.
•Unity of the church is key in winning this battle. The last but not the least christians should be actively involve in politics. Enough of these muslims political office holder with islamic agenda.

ARISE CHURCH & LETS DO THE NEEDFUL!!!

Please, send to Bishops, General Overseers, Pastors and all Christians on your contact list.

May God bless you as you spread the Word...Amen!

Education10 Profitable Business Ideas For Students In Nigeria by Lazyreporta(op): 1:17pm On Feb 13, 2016
Being a student in Nigeria is not cheap.
You have to pay for books and handouts, make photocopies, pay for transportation, accommodation and feeding as well as a whole lot of other expenses.

Considering the fact that most Nigerian parents are within the middle and low income bracket, it is doubtful that students would be able to get everything they need to survive in school from home.

But instead of engaging in practices that may jeopardize your future, why not look for a business that you can do on the side; one that would not interfere with your academics but would provide you with a lot of extra money to take care of your needs in school and even save something for when you graduate.

Here are 10 great business ideas which you can consider doing while in school;

1. Tutoring
Many parents who work full-time require the services of expert tutors who can help their kids with difficult subjects at school and also help them with their home work while they at work.

There are two ways through which you can handle tutoring as a student. The first way is to do it online. There are many websites that you can register on to become an online tutor and make money during your spare time at school. The other way is to search for parents that you can advertise your services to, so that you can schedule a time to visit their homes and teach their kids.

2. Sports training
If there are any particular sports you are good at, you can think of becoming a sports trainer. I remember that when I was in the university we used to have fitness clubs organized by students and to join such clubs, you had to pay a token as membership fees. The organizers made sizable amounts of money for themselves doing this alone.

3. Graphic design
Graphic design is huge right now especially because of the high percentage of people creating new websites. Web designers need graphic designers to help them create banners, logos and other similar materials to use to make their websites beautiful.

There is also a vast number of opportunities offline that graphic designers can tap into including designing logos, business cards, brochures and business cards for various small and large organizations.

4. Freelance writing
Another business idea for a Nigerian student is to become a freelance Writer. You can find a lot of freelance writing jobs on websites like Freelancer, Odesk, Elance, Fiverr and other micro-job websites.

5. Blogging
Is there a topic you are passionate about? Or would you like other people to read of your experiences as a Nigerian Student? You can make a lot of money from blogging about diverse topics you love and the good thing is you can start this business without a kobo. All you need is your laptop and access to the internet.

6. Hairdressing/Barbing
This is a good idea for both female and male students. You can help your fellow students to cut/make their hair and charge them a token for it. You can choose to do this on weekends only to avoid undue interference with your academic work.

7. Event planning
Event planning is another easy business you can do as a student especially since most events fall during the weekend when there is little or no school work to be done.

8. Pet breeding
Another great business that can make you a student millionaire in no time is pet breeding. Imported dog breeds like Alsatians, Rottweilers and German Shepherds are some of the pets in very high demand in the Nigerian market.

9. Sewing
You can also make money from helping other students to sew and mend their clothes.

10. Web design
Lastly, you should consider becoming a web designer. Although you mind need to spend some time learning the skills but as soon as you grasp the skills, there are no limit to what you can earn from web designing even as a student.

Best of God....

PoliticsGeneral Murtala Mohammed: Forty Years On- By Femi Fani-kayode by Lazyreporta(op): 10:34am On Feb 13, 2016
If there was one man that had a profound effect on our history, perhaps more than any other, it was Gen.

Murtala Ramat Mohammed. Sadly he was assassinated 40 years ago, on February 13th 1976. In a clime and a nation in which there are few true heroes, he was certainly one of them.
I could write a whole book on this man.

It is a pity that the younger generation of Nigerians don't know much about him or about what he did and achieved for our nation both before and after he became Head of State in 1975. Forty years after his murder his name still brings joy and admiration to his associates, friends and loved ones and terror and trepidation to his detractors and foes. Of all the former Heads of State and leaders in our country I admire him the most.

His courage, focus, brazenness, righteous anger, strength of character, bellicose nature, passion and ability to take the bull by the horns and do what needed to be done, no matter whose ox was gored and no matter what the consequences were, was exemplary and outstanding.

In these days of cowardice, guile, deceit, doublespeak, subterfuge and political correctness, Mohammed would not have found much pleasure or joy and neither would he have been fully appreciated. He was blunt, fearless and irrepressible and, as they say, he was ''as tough as nails''. He was all that a real warrior ought to be. Most important of all he was inspirational: he scorned death and he had no fear of it.

What a man this was: truly the first among equals. He was a living example of the veracity of the adage that says "who dares wins". His life was a manifestation of the fact that truly "fortune favors the bold". Our domestic policy under his watch brought positive and monumental changes to the fortunes of our country and the character of our people. Our foreign policy under him, throughout the six months that he was Head of State, was a sight to be seen. It was Nigeria at her proudest and her best.

In those days we were rich, loud and boisterous. We could boast of having Africa's strongest army and her most outstanding and best- educated middle class. We were big, strong and powerful and when Nigeria spoke the world listened. When we sneezed Africa literally caught a cold. When we roared, the world shook. We wielded this great power and influence on the world stage with immense dazzle and razzmatazz. Yet we were also cautious, restrained and deemed as being highly responsible. That is when Nigeria was regarded as the Giant of Africa and rightly so.

Without General Murtala Mohammed the eventual liberation of Angola, Zimbabwe and South Africa would not have been achieved when it was.

Though he did not live to see it, he set the ball rolling and he threw down the gauntlet to the western powers and all those that supported racial tyranny and apartheid in the nations of southern Africa.

Some historians have even argued that that is precisely why he was eventually murdered. Yet if that was the motivation for organizing his assassination it did not stop anything because the cat was already out of the bag and his legacy had already been established and taken root.

This is confirmed by the fact that his extraordinary and dynamic foreign policy vis a vis the total liberation of our brother African nations and his unrelenting opposition and resistance to white minority rule in South Africa and Rhodesia (as it then was) continued under the able leadership of his second in command, General Olusegun Obasanjo, after he took over as Head of State on Feb. 14th 1976. The rest is history.

May General Murtala Ramat Mohammed's courageous soul continue to rest in peace and may those that are in power today resurrect his spirit and build on his great legacy.

Career4 Motivational And Inspiring Short Stories You Must Read by Lazyreporta(op): 7:29am On Feb 13, 2016
Check out these 4 Motivational and Inspiring short stories about life, stories that will make you smile.

1. Everyone Has a Story in Life
A 24 year old boy seeing out from the train’s window shouted…

“Dad, look the trees are going behind!”
Dad smiled and a young couple sitting nearby, looked at the 24 year old’s childish behavior with pity, suddenly he again exclaimed…

“Dad, look the clouds are running with us!”

The couple couldn’t resist and said to the old man…

“Why don’t you take your son to a good doctor?” The old man smiled and said…“I did and we are just coming from the hospital, my son was blind from birth, he just got his eyes today.

Every single person on the planet has a story. Don’t judge people before you truly know them. The truth might surprise you.

2. Shake off Your Problems
A man's favorite donkey falls into a deep precipice; He can't pull it out no matter how hard he tries; He therefore decides to bury it alive.

Soil is poured onto the donkey from above. The donkey feels the load, shakes it off, and steps on it; More soil is poured.

It shakes it off and steps up; The more the load was poured, the higher it rose; By noon, the donkey was grazing in green pastures.

After much shaking off (of problems) And stepping up (learning from them), One will graze in GREEN PASTURES.

Never Give Up!

3. The Elephant Rope
As a man was passing the elephants, he suddenly stopped, confused by the fact that these huge creatures were being held by only a small rope tied to their front leg. No chains, no cages. It was obvious that the elephants could, at anytime, break away from their bonds but for some reason, they did not.

He saw a trainer nearby and asked why these animals just stood there and made no attempt to get away. “Well,” trainer said, “when they are very young and much smaller we use the same size rope to tie them and, at that age, it’s enough to hold them. As they grow up, they are conditioned to believe they cannot break away. They believe the rope can still hold them, so they never try to break free.”

The man was amazed. These animals could at any time break free from their bonds but because they believed they couldn’t, they were stuck right where they were.

Like the elephants, how many of us go through life hanging onto a belief that we cannot do something, simply because we failed at it once before?

Failure is part of learning; we should never give up the struggle in life.

4. A Dish of Ice Cream
In the days when an ice cream sundae cost much less, a 10 year old boy entered a hotel coffee shop and sat at a table. A waitress put a glass of water in front of him.

“How much is an ice cream sundae?”
“50 cents,” replied the waitress.

The little boy pulled his hand out of his pocket and studied a number of coins in it.

“How much is a dish of plain ice cream?” he inquired. Some people were now waiting for a table and the waitress was a bit impatient.

“35 cents,” she said brusquely.

The little boy again counted the coins.

“I’ll have the plain ice cream,” he said.

The waitress brought the ice cream, put the bill on the table and walked away. The boy finished the ice cream, paid the cashier and departed.

When the waitress came back, she began wiping down the table and then swallowed hard at what she saw.

There, placed neatly beside the empty dish, were 15 cents – her tip.

Don't look down on anybody in life.

EducationRead How His First Carry Over In UNILAG Propelled Him To Greatness by Lazyreporta(op): 5:53pm On Feb 10, 2016
Gaining admission into the University of Lagos was a tall dream that came true! I was very excited when I saw my name on the long list published in the newspapers. I wrote my mission statement – to graduate with First Class Honoursin Mass Communication.

This solemn resolve shaped my behaviour throughout my stay in school. It never crossed my mind that I would have a ‘carry-over’ or fail any course, but it happened.

It was in the second semester of my first year. It was examination period.

Computer Appreciation was the last paper and it was not really a paper, but a practical test of our working knowledge of the computer. We were called in one after the other and given a simple task to do on the computer.

When it was my turn, I was starting at the assigned task when the computer went off suddenly. I was troubled. The computer was restarted. As I was about to start my task again, the computer went off again. I reported to the invigilator, who was now impatient with me. He eventually asked me to exit the room.

And that was it. I prayed and prayed that God would make me pass this course. When the results came out, I failed despite all my petitions to God!

I forgave myself for failing. I forgave God for not answering my fervent prayers. I hope this does not surprise you because there are lots of people who are offended at God. I forgave the invigilator who became impatient with me, asked me to get out and gave me the poorest grade.

To rise above failure, we sometimes need to practise forgiveness. I decided I would not allow the failure to keep me down. I kept working to improve my grades and I saw the helping hand of God. Many times in life things don’t happen our way. I refused to be deterred by the unpleasant outcome.

I received the Best Student in Advertising Award and graduated as the second best student in my department. I didn’t make the First Class Honours list, but I was satisfied with my performance at the end of the day. If you aim for the moon and you couldn’t hit it, you’ll at least to fall about the stars.

So many people today, that should have become inspirational success stories, are victims of failure. That is what happens when we take failure to the heart. Someone said failure is an opportunity to begin more intelligently. Learn to fail forward. Don’t allow failure dissolve your resolve. You are born to succeed and you will succeed if you keep the fire of determination burning inside you.

Today, when I look back and see how far God has helped me, I see the need for one to handle failure with courage and forge ahead with tenacity. Life is fraught with challenges, unforeseen events and crises. Unpleasant events might happen to us or to people close to us. And we begin to ask questions why God permitted those happenings.

And because of our imperfections and the imperfect world we live in, failure is almost inevitable.

I took the course (Computer Appreciation)again and passed. That was the only course I failed during my first degree programme. Preparation activates the flow of distinctions. And that was happened with all the courses I took till I finished. I gave myself to preparation and it paid off handsomely.

Did you just experience failure? Or have you been going through repeated failures? Please do not be discouraged.

Forgive God. Forgive yourself and everyone who you think might be instrumental to your failure. Do a sincere analysis of the reasons for your failure and come up with a plan to win.

Get a winning strategy, but very importantly recognise that God is the Helper of the helpless. He will help you rise from the ashes of failure and shine as a star!
Cheers!

Romance3 Types Of Relationships You Should Never Have In School by Lazyreporta(op):
There are some Types Of Relationships You Should Never Have In School, especially in the University. As universities are hotbeds for all kinds of relationships, good and bad, from everlasting true love to an awkward one-night stands originated from a dinner party.

You might have made mistakes, you might not. Either ways, here are the list of things and people not to do in terms of relationships in the university.

1. Do Not Have A Relationship with your lecturer
It’s quite understandable that at times, you might be attracted to the person imparting wisdom and learning to you on a daily basis. There are all too many occasions for attraction to blossom; seminars where everyone else is too hungover to turn up, or the aptly named “personal” tutorials.

Relationships between faculty members and students are pretty common, and rarely prohibited by universities.

But most relationships you have at school aren’t going to end happily ever after. Most likely, if you get into a relationship with your tutor or lecturer, it will implode at some point, and you’ll have to endure the awkwardness and pain of forced contact with an ex who still holds the position of power over you that was so attractive in the first place.

Or, worse, you’ll just hit on a lecturer when drunk on free departmental wine, be rejected, and have to spend the next three years studiously avoiding them, and never ever taking any of their courses

2. Do Not Have A Relationship with your flat mate
Having a relationship with someone you already live with escalates everything; you can get close really quickly, but that makes it harder if you then split up. “Don’t do it“– else you want someone to be visiting you day in day out, all days, which will instigate some things to happen and definitely make you both get tired of each other really quickly.

3. Do Not Have A Relationship with a sabbatical officer
Sabbatical officers are students who take a year off between or directly after their studies to take on key positions in the student union. Relationships between students and people like this might not immediately seem particularly ill-advised, and you do get a kind of second-hand power rush from dating someone vaguely important.

But when it ends, and there’s a cardboard cut out of your ex that creepily guards the entrance to your uni, it becomes peculiarly painful. As are all the emails, the weird pictures of them dressed up in a novelty reindeer costume, and the realization that it’s very hard to get over someone when they’re around all the time.

Do you have more to add to the list? Comment below.

CelebritiesDon Jazzy & I Produced Godwin In Less Than 4 Days – Korede Bello by Lazyreporta(op): 7:09pm On Feb 06, 2016

His recent song, Mr. Romantic, featuring ace singer Tiwa Savage, is gradually warming into the heart of his fans, Korede Bello in an exclusive interview with Saturday Beats however, says his hit song, Godwin, was the fastest song they have made so far.

Known for his boyish charms, the singer said that it took him and Don Jazzy about three days to make the song that has since become like a national anthem.

“Godwin was divinely a God project and I hope that God will bless my other works like he did Godwin. It was Don Jazzy that started the project and when he was half way, I joined him and we co-wrote the song together.

At that moment, the song was inspired by the beat. But before then, I had always wanted to do a song that would touch all demography and that everyone could relate to. I have always dreamed of having a song with a message that people would dance to in the clubs and the same song could be sung in church. Godwin is the quickest song that we ever did.

I have some songs in the studio that we recorded two years ago. It took us about three days to complete Godwin and within a week, the song was already out. It was easy to get the lyrics because it is about everyday situations,” he said.
