I guess he was unbalanced... besides his power comes mostly from the right foot but the ball was on his left so he needed to push it alil further to get balance.

But why is no one talking about the pass from Iwobi that setup that glorious chance wey Simon go use carry injury..?

Somebody say him don tire to see Iwobi for NT
Lol

For me, na only Iwobi I see for match yesterday

He wasn't getting any offer. Last job was Zanaco, got fired. Played 8 consecutive matches without a win.

Yeah because his CV is very poor
You cannot say philosophy is king, and it doesn't translate into some form of results
Even JPes used us to enhance his CV
Our guys just have to shake body and hustle..
They are too comfy with mediocrity

See since Afcon 2020, the way they've been going for courses and all, you'll think they wantu compete with Sarina for a job. The men are sitting and expecting to be picked cos of Enyimba, Tanzania and u17 and Kano Pillars. If na by NPFL levels sef, there are more seasoned managers doing tactical exploits in that league right now and I'll take them over these comfy legends,if that's the metric to get the job.

It pisses me off. You'll look at Nsien and Egbo cv and compare and you'll be wondering why these ones feel so entitled. That's why i said many of them are best as Assistants. At least the nostalgia on them will be helpful with these players that were kids or not yet born when they were all balling those years. For now, na dem sabi.

Asin eh..
Very annoying

Florence Omagbemi:

Former super falcons coach. Won the WAFCON in 2016. Sacked because she advocated for her players. Currently coaching in the USA

Mercy Akide:

currently coaching an age grade team in the USA. She's been actively coaching (Mostly age grade) in the USA since 2006. The NFF are skeptical of giving her the Falcons job because of her Husband. They know they can't treat her anyhow cause Colin Udoh will air them. Lol

Perpetua Nwokocha:

Managed or managing a club in Sweden

Ayisat Yusuf:

Head coach of a Boys age grade club in Finland

Has a UEFA B licence (not sure what grade off the top of my head)

Rachel Aiyegba:
Has a UEFA license A coaching badge
Not sure what her status is at the moment.

So yes, the Ex Super Falcons players don't sit around like the men waiting for the NFF. Many of them are hustling in Europe, and they didn't earn 5% of what the men earned in their entire career.

Reading this, though unconfirmed, makes me more upset at Amuneke
Like you go just dey sit-down dey wait for SE job?
You can't move your butt?

Kudos to our women jare
They've always been representing from their SF days

We have been in this no time business for decades. Until we stop that no time development and focus on building a good side, we will keep running in circles.

Completely agree
At some point, we will have to make a decision to grow so that the process can start
It may as well start now
Nothing wrong sacrificing short term results for longer term gains..
Again, we may as well start now

Yes, we don't have such players and even our defenders are not so creative with the ball. I remember Chidi Odia and Balogun. We don't have such presence in our defense.

What we have now are bunch of strikers. The Eagles need midfielders. I am tired of Iwobi

When finidi relocated to 9ja from Spain after his coaching certification and temporary work with Betis he tried getting the u17 job but when it didn’t work baba came down from his high horse after many tries and settled with Enyimba

Today he is the favorite to emerge as the next assistant coach of the super eagles and coach of the chan eagles

I believe Amuneke’s problem is ego. He should swallow his bride and take a job in any of the NPFL clubs

If the CV of those that applied for super eagles job are made open I won’t be surprised to see that his is the poorest.

comodo:

Simple reason. They left the tactics of recycling the ball to making a whole lot of over ambitious wrong forward passes. If they had continued with the 1st half tactics, ghana would have ran out of steam. I know d coach will knock out that huff to Osimhen and insha Allah. There brain format is kick it to osimhen. And that's what they started doing later on.

Lol

Meanwhile we need to be wary about finidi tactics too,aw can a 10 man Ghana 🇬🇭 pin u down for a larger part of d second half wout response…so tey ,it was looking like mancity vs burnley.

Yeah, that needs to be talked about
But Sha, we give him the benefit of the doubt
It was his first game, and generally speaking, he did well
We can point to individual moments when it looked like Addo was dominating, but we go let Finidi off the hook for now

All you typed here did not counter my point.

Mikel lasted long because he was a Superstar. He was underrated because of a lot people watch football for just flair and running. Mikel brought more to the team tactically that running and flair won't.

Mikel got dropped some times but in the end, he always made it back to the team. Even before his departure from Chelsea, Conte still wanted him back.

Mikel was a Superstar player.

Finito.
