Honestly the man just made it look as if midfield was never our problem in the first place
Like!
He came in and solved REAL problems
Now our team has an identity and clear playing pattern..
He improves players ..
Lookman, Akor, Osayi, Bruno, Iwobi, Bassey, etc became monstrous under him..

Our players play with more passion and intensity now
The days of big man football are over..

He doesn't use sentiments
Benched Ekong for Fredrick
Dropped Nwabali from the team because of inactivity

I could go on

But one thing is clear, ERIC SEKOU CHELLE IS A BLESSING TO OUR FOOTBALL!

Abi make he just last beyond next year,

It's almost impossible for any coach to last more than five years with NFF,it does not matter what you win, even if you win world cup join
Those ones don't seem to want progress in the NT, if it will affect their chop chop policy

I believe the players will make him stay
Even Chelle is excited by what he himself is building, I believe

To find a player like Alor Adams is not easy, a player that can enter the first team and fit seamlessly as if he has been with the team for years.
Femi Azeez says hi

But Otele fall my hand o
Chai
I thought he would give SiMoses a run for his money

Chelle is finally doing what we were begging Rohr and Peseiro to do since...
IMPROVE OUR MIDFIELD!!!

Now we have;
Midfield A.. Iwobi, Ndidi and Onyeka
Midfield B.. Onyedika, Dele
Midfield C .. Alhassan, Nnadi and Tijani

Akinsanmiro and others are still there o!

How hard was it??

Good run out for our Npfl guys
Each one gave a good account of himself..
Shows we truly have good players in the Npfl..
Let them keep their head down and keep working hard
No funny moves to obscure leagues

I look at the team on display at the Unity Cup and I beat my chest to say, yep, this is quality depth. Mind you, we still have quality lads who are not present (e.g. Zadok, Ozoh, etc) but will get their chance as time goes.

My major joy is how they were able to interpret to the percentage margins of let's say, 85% what Chelle showed with the main team at Afcon 2025.

This shows we have a pattern of play and all the players need do is key in/slot in tactically and execute their part. We have a system ladies and gentlemen and it is the Chelle Diamond system.

The gap of 15% showed as we came under phases of pressure due to the show of first team experience by the Zimbabweans (nearly all of them were starters at the Afcon) but the team did well to weather that storm. Also, it showed in certain decisions we made when transitioning forward but in all, they still kept on trying and bagged 2 very good goals. Will be more efficient as they play more under the system.
Massive 🔥🔥🔥

Moffi has been giving so many chance to impress with the super eagles, he has always failed. Is time they stop inviting him. He's not a super eagle material.
Moffi did well today
He's no Osimhen, but can be a decent back up
He led the lines well today
Brought in other players well too
I vote he stays

I wont forget Samson Tijani as well. Solid baller. His forward passes, Physical duels and ball distribution were really on show especially in that first half. Heavily involved in that first goal too.

Dude needs to leave Relegated Dukla praha ASAP in the Czech Liga.

Tochukwu Nnadi was fantastic. He sat at the base of midfield (Ndidi role) and dropped a CDM masterclass. Alhassan Yusuf was in his elements as well and led the middle 3 well (coukd be seen encouraging Nnadi after he mopped up for Nwaiwu). He really helped as he executed the RCM/Onyeka role also, bursting forward and falling back as well to double-pivot with Nnadi.

The midfield gave me Joy today. Against Zimbabwe's 1st Choice experienced Afcon Midfield of Munetsi, Nakamba and Fabisch... I am well pleased with the midfielders for the most parts today.
I want to see this midfield against a more technical team
They showed they can hold their own against a physical team
