Oh, you mean guerrilla fighters and jihadists have permanent camps, no? You're a joker! Just pay close attention to detail, and read where he was calling other war-hardened jihadists from MENA to join them. If they listen to him and descend on Nigeria - then it's game over. I'll pray for you!
All JTF have to do is kill any arab, white or any one that do not look Nigerian in the battle zone or around it. Every country or race have the way they look and talk; this will make it easier to deal with those friends of boko haram. All these rubbish will be reduced as these jihadists are being killed or captured in conflicts all over the world and only time will tell. |
Boko haram leader propaganda would never work as I have never seen or heard a situation where the people winning a fight are also the ones asking for help! Bh leader should note that his arab and fellow clowns from outside Nigeria look different and since Nigeria is not America or the west; they would be killed on being sighted who get time to dey capture arabs, Somalia fanatics or their look alike since that would only prolong the war. JTF please kill any of them on sighting them because they may be suicide bombers! |
Amaechi has always gotten sympathy and profound support from ACN/CPC folks even here on nairaland. Nothing really changed. Amaechi has never been more popular than GEJ in Rivers State and will never be. He has just made the remaining part of his regime unnecessarily more difficult. He will be terribly distracted and frustrated. Forces will realign in Rivers State. Even some of his commissioners don't have the liver to fight this battle. He will have to reshuffle his cabinet and be more cautious of his friends, something that he never planned for this time. You don't poke your fingers into the eyes of a sitting President who happen to belong to the same political party with you as well as your party hierarchy and expect to go unscathed. It is pure foolishness.
people tend to believe Nigerians don't know their right from left! All these Gej battles with Amechi will definitely work against him in 2015 and it will be too late for him because the majority of people from the North,South West and some south south would vote for a credible presidential candidate which happen not to be Gej. Take it or leave it, this may be the last president. From the south south which will ever rule Nigeria if he doesn't stop all his tribalism and un Nigerian behaviour because he should let use know if he is the precedent of south south and south east alone. |

mu2sa2: Saudi Arabia should be "bombed back to the stone age" by christian West !!! By your warped thinking killing of thousands of innocent muslims by christians , as US drones are doing now, is correct while the murder of a single man by Adebolaje is evil. Surely, God will recompense the evil doers.you talk as if muslims have the sole right to kill people of other religion! A time is coming when people from other religion would start killing muslims it would be an eye for an eye just like the Israelis do and that time is very close. Note that you can't do that with an israeli. Nor a buddhist. |
shymexx: No, hun... I don't have anything against Muslims and I'll support them when they're in the right; but I don't like reading anything about Islam. Personally, I think the government has intentionally turned a blind eye on the spread of radical Islam in the UK because the financial backers(Saudi Arabia, UAE, and Qatar) of these extreme ideology are their allies. Those countries have huge investments in the UK and I'm sure the UK's also trying to protect its business interests as well.. True; most islamic countries don't allow their citizens to convert to other religion neither do they allow other religions to build place of worship in their countries, they even go as far to imprison and kill their citizen and any body who convert them while muslims keep building mosques and converting non muslims in non islamic countries: they also claim equal right. these countries enforce their laws but break other countries law e.g they dress and behave any way they like and they are not disturbed but try that in their country you will be flogged, imprisoned or killed. At times I don't blame the israelis for treating them the way they do. |
figment232: Its even easier to rig.Amaechi refused to step b4 the election. In fact he literally conducted his own election which was effectively rigged by the Director General of the NGF.This unacceptablewill Jonathan step down before 2015 election? CAPITAL NO! Amechi won squarely; can't you factor it out that almost all govs from opposition parties would vote for him and some loyal/friends of amechi in PDP! Abeg make apabio go sleep joor! |
The boy is 1st british, 2nd black, 3rd a muslim,4th of Nigerian decent and lastly a real psycho. |
manny4life: Acquaintance? Nne, RUN RUN RUN....they are called mi6 |
because the lads were armed and carrying a gun - policemen don't carry guns in london - they would have had to call special forces to deal with the situation. the response time is irrelevant - the victim died instantly after the attack. But every force in England operates an armed response unit. Metropolitan Police and City of London Police operate with three officers per Armed Response Vehicle, a driver, the scene operator who gathers information about the incident and liaising with other units, and an observer who navigates. Other police forces carry two Authorised Firearms Officers instead of three. Armed Police carry a combination of weapons, ranging from German Heckler & Koch MP5 carbines, Heckler & Koch MSG901 Sniper rifles, Heckler & Koch Baton Guns (which fire baton rounds) and Heckler & Koch G36Cs to a number of specialist weapons such as the Remington pump-action shotgun. They can still do better. |
coogar: because the lads were armed and carrying a gun - policemen don't carry guns in london - they would have had to call special forces to deal with the situation. the response time is irrelevant - the victim died instantly after the attack.true! |
Maxymilliano: By tommorrow, this same hypocrites will be pontificating on how Nigeria is gradually tilting towards the Hobbesian state of nature where life is said to be short, brutish and nasty, yet a serving Brits soldier was beheaded and hacked to death in a no-crisis situation...close to a military barrack! And it took the police 20mins to get there, what a mess. |
Codedrock: I am damn sure they wont want to try that with well trained soldiers like the americans.not even with Nigerian solders! |
crackhouse: if it was the BOKO HARAM leader that said he is the governor of Borno state, will they arrest him?they won't arrest the boko haram leader they would simply kill him cos hausa like power well well. |
iheneme: Ask Egypt if their lives have been the same since they dared and lost to Israel. Israel has the right to defend itself against external aggression.Ask israel if they want another war with egypt and they would say oh noooooooo! Cause egypt was having the upper hand till their ally syria asked for their help which made egypt armed by the USSR to abandon her war strategy; israel suffered her highest casualties after ww2 when they fought egypt. I love israel but they are going too far. |
compressor: Nigerian are fools just making comments and arriving at jaundiced conclusions without seeing pictures or evidences of the destruction ongoing in the areas where the military are operating. We need to be careful how or what we wish for as the military has shown themselves time and over again to be untrustworthy in handling both affairs of state and such security challenges.you are a greater fool! Even the americans only show you few things they want you to see; have you ever seen a video of american solders being killed or where they killed enemy forces en-mass; they keep showing syrian rebels winning whereas assad is having the upper hand. Who want to be dragged to war court? How many whites have been convicted at the court? Check out blacks! |
dbride: How did the boko boys get there? It wasn't tough for boko haram, it WILL NOT be tough for our soldiers. God will give them Wisdom and Strength. Your love and support for boko haram is so glaring and that same spirit in them has taken control of your reasoning.nice one! You do not need b52s or bombs as big as buses; all they need are 500kg bombs which i believe Nigeria military have in excess. |
booqee: since d beginning of this brouhaha....we haven't seen any pictures or videos to support d claim dat the soldiers are really working and dat some boko haram members have been captured. Though i do believe it anyway.I believe the military have killed boko haram boys in 100s but played it down because of uproar that it would generate when you start seeing videos and picture of actual combat; JTF ain't stupid. |
They should keep their mouth shut so that they won't be given a trial by JTF after their boko haram operation in those states where state of emergency are declared. |
Mekusnwa: I doubt this news. But even if it's true, Maku and Stella Odua deserve another political position for a good job well done as Ministers.. Stella is the most tribal Nigerian I have ever seen or even heard of! She has turned aviation upside down; she enforces what she wants and not what the international or Nigerian law/policy allows in aviation, she flout ICAO rules with impunity, she is a disaster waiting to happen: what's still keeping aviation is what Dr Demuren had put in place, I know because have been in the aviation industry for almost 7years and know lost of people in all govt agencies there who had been there since the days of Federal Airport Authority. If she stays long something may happen but God forbid any bad from happening. God bless Nigeria. |
dayokanu: I dont like that 2005 Toyota, But the newer shape kills the Honda version. Not true, honda 2010 interior kills toyota till date wins hands down. Have you checked both cars parked side by side? |
chima12: Most yorubas believe they cannot survive in nigeria and compete successfully with the nigerdeltans and SE without the support of the north.that is one major reason yorubas are ready to fall behind and support hausa/fulani as long as they can get crumbs from their master (hausa/fulani)table.this explains why so many yoruba christians and moslems are defenders of fulani/hausa interest and bokoharam defendersWhy do you liar in the face of real evidence? Igbos have been licking the shoes of the north since independence till date; the igbos have always worked for the hausa/fulani masters; you igbos have always been in the same political party since independence while yorubas have mainly been on the opposition, so if the igbos are not slaves why do they stick with their hausa/fulani masters? Igbos are being killed in large numbers in the north and your people can do is make silly noise with no action to back it up which makes it clear that you igbos are the most coward people on earth! Obasanjo a yoruba man came to power and balanced his cabinet where we have more igbos than yorubas; if yorubas don't like igbos he won't do that! GEJ cabinet is different because all you people try to do is marginalize we the yorubas but we still don't care because your tenure will be over others will take over and our turn will come again: we should do likewise to you people. An eye for an eye. |
RIP to all those that lost their life may God grant their families the strength to bear the loss. We should all know that our roads are bad and emergency health services are slow and almost non existing, so we all have to drive carefully and intelligently no matter how sophisticated and expensive your ride is because it takes a miracle to survive most accident here in nigeria;like wise many drivers/riders drive like mad people eg they broke my side mirror and the 2 light behind withing 3days: one driver ran away while 2 apologised. It cost 85k to replace/labour. May God protect us and our loved ones. |
Aggrippa: kai..guy north better pass o...but for the incessant terrorist bokoboko groups...going down to south you hear things like killing of twins, witchcraft, juju, kidnapping, hand-robbing, heart-robbing, destiny seizures and the likes.chei see breakdown lawlessness! |

I believe MI cls should be 2008 model with a used one valued at $28,313 which ain't a small change; He will easily get the car back since it ain't toyota or honda. We all work hard to make money and it ain't right for someone else to just take what took you years to acquire away just like that. |
6years single term will take corruption to a level never seen before because the person in office knows he/she ain't coming back to that office while something can still be done to stop a corrupt official from having another 4years tenure. Trust me after a few years of 6years terms our politicians would work out a consensus to make it 6years 2 terms: what will we Nigerians do since they are good at such thing that will benefit them mainly and not the people? Also, the creation of more states will be a waste of time and money, what have most governors done to develop their states to warrant more states? We are just going to encourage more corruption! |
oludashmi: Secondedlet them stop mis informing people, yoruba is spoken in Nigeria, benin Republic, Togo,Brazi,Cuba,Poto Rico,Dominica Republic while other forms of yoruba are also spoken in several countries of the world but by fewer people there* percentage of yoruba population in Nigeria is 21%, hausa/fulani 29%, igbo18%, ijaw 6% etc so let them split hausa from fulani so that we will know the tribe with the majority; where in the world have you ever had more people living in the desert/semi desert area to those living on arable lands? To know countries where yoruba is spoken please check wikipedia and en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Demographic for percentage distribution. |
Oromo, Amharic, Yoruba and Igbo shouldn't even be on the list. How did they make it in the list and Fulani and Lingala did not?
fulani what! LMAO |
