keeping expectations low in the sense that don't think you will land in a foreign country and start packing money after the short term.
most times, it does not happen like that

just do your best, AND STAY AWAY FROM CRIME

A
Thanks a lot ... crime is not even an option and it's an African country so I don't expect it to be like the western countries.. just going there to teach as it's bit better there than here with weekend and private classes..

The reason I'm not married and will never marry is because I am not meant for marriage.
It’s not my destiny to marry.

I feel like helping everyone, but what I can say is that if you guys can drop your CV and credentials I will seriously be of help. But I will make a point clear that the salary is relatively poor only private class is the way out. I was in Niger teaching maths in an a level school at ilupeju Lagos and I was earning even bigger than my current salary but what I make from private class here in Gambia is *4....my Niger salary put together... Let me have your CV please.

Thanks so much for shedding more light @dy79..God bless you ..please I really want you to talk more about the following
1. Like how much one can make in a month doing the private home tutor in Gambia?
2. How long does it take to settle down there and get pupils once one is there?
3. How habitable is the country in terms of their relationship with Nigerians and what are the requirements needed to come over there ..
thanks so much your reply will go a long way in our decision making .. God bless you ..

CelebritiesRe: Juliana Olayode: My Father, Mother's Separation Was Very Difficult Period For Me by lecksam(m): 1:05pm On Aug 11, 2018
Letenwam:
Juliana Olayode a.k.a Toyo Baby, who during the week announced that her parents who had been separated for 17 years are back together, has recounted the challenges she faced throughout the period.

According to Juliana Olayode, the reconciliation of their separated parents started after her elder sisters called for a meeting between her dad and her mom. She added that at first, she thought it wouldn't

work. She had written on Instagram;

“I know that my Rebirth Fam would be able to relate more with what I am about to share. Gosh, where do I start? My heart is racing. I still can’t believe it. I have prayed for it to happen for 17 years. At some point, I stopped praying about it because nothing changed, things only got worse.

"My elder sisters called for a meeting, and between us, we wanted to reconcile my mum and dad but we didn’t tell them about it. I was so afraid. I wondered if they would come or if our plans to bring them back together would work. So, three days before the meeting, I started praying about it. I started imagining them together. I was just doing everything by faith.

“On Sunday morning, I had cold feet. I was so afraid. “God, please do it this time”, was my prayer when I entered my late sister’s house for the meeting. It was a VERY long process but they made up. They hugged each other and looked into each other’s eyes and started laughing. Then my mum started crying and my siblings and I joined in the tears of joy.

"I’m still in shock.

"So fam, wedding bells are ringing;

"There is nothing God cannot do. Don’t stop praying. Don’t stop believing. He will do it in his own time…

"I join my faith with everyone whose parents are divorced or separated for whatever reason and I declare that the same God who answered my prayer after 17 years will do yours if you so desire (Amen)”

However in a new chat with Saturday Beats, Juliana Olayode disclosed how how she and her siblings have always wanted their parents to come back together.

“My parents were not aware of the whole plan; they didn’t know they were going to see each other and we are happy they eventually reconciled.

“Like I said in my book, it was very difficult not seeing my parents together. Going to school and coming back to meet only mummy or Daddy; I have always prayed about it as a child, that was always my little prayer to God. It happened when I stopped trusting God about it and I just believed that in God’s time, he would make it happen, and I am happy they reconciled" she said.

GraGra247:
This is simply what I was trying to demonstrate in another thread that was addressing rape here:

https://www.nairaland.com/4668071/burial-khensani-maseko-south-african#70148722

This woman suffered more than a rape victim but she chose to rise above her misfortune and stay alive.
Yet women suffer rape and decide to take their lives all because the media and the society have made rape to look like the worst thing that can happen to a woman.

We should encourage victims of misfortune to rise above their difficulties and thrive.

I'm sure the very unlearned fellas will still misinterprete my comment again.
You too dey vex..Abeg no vex ..take cold origin. grin grin

First and foremost , love yourself and your kid which I can deduce from your post you are already doing ..
Secondly, don't just go for any man out of desperation, your decision in choosing a man must be based on the man's love for your beautiful kid..The man must love your kid as he loves you..Some men actually find it hard to cope with another man's kid and you know it's a journey that no one knows the end..
Don't discminitate so much about age cos men of your age caliber would have gotten kids or married. You can still see a single man who will love you for who you are..
I wish you luck cos life alone doesn't worth it .. You can reach me for us to talk better ..
