Now comes Punch Two.

With compound interest climbing and the debt unserviceable, the IMF demands that Ukraine sell off its assets to cool the creditors.

Even with privatization the debt will never be paid off and Ukraine becomes an eternal vassal to Jewish banksters.

And with Yats and US Commerce Secretary Penney Pritzker now planning a Ukrainian fire sale, the IMF and its client, Monsanto, are licking their chops over Ukraine’s farmland too.

Not for nothing did they install Saakashvili as the new governor of Odessa, a vital part of Ukraine’s breadbasket and maritime shipping.

He just admitted that things were much better under Yanukovich, who Nudelman of the US State Department toppled.

MOSCOW, June 25. /TASS/. Russia’s Radio-Electronic Technologies Group (KRET) is developing a fundamentally new electronic warfare system capable of suppressing cruise missile and other high-precision weaponry guidance systems and satellite radio-electronic equipment, KRET Deputy CEO Yuri Mayevsky told TASS on Thursday.

"The system will target the enemy’s deck-based, tactical, long-range and strategic aircraft, electronic means and suppress foreign military satellites’ radio-electronic equipment," Mayevsky said.

The system will be mounted on ground-based, air-and seaborne carriers, he added.

"It will not be based on satellites as this is prohibited by international rules and we comply with this rule," he said.

Adviser to the KRET first deputy CEO Vladimir Mikheyev told TASS the integrated multifunctional electronic warfare system designed to target enemy aerospace vehicles would operate within the air defense and missile shield control contour.

"It will fully suppress communications, navigation and target location and the use of high-precision weapons," Mikheyev said.

"The system will be used against cruise missiles and will suppress satellite-based radio location systems. It will actually switch off enemy weapons."

The system’s ground component will be tested soon, hec said. "Ground tests are now going on in workshops. At the end of the year, the system’s component will leave the factory gates for trials at testing ranges," he said.

Russian Sukhoi Su -24 with the newest jamming complex paralyzed in the Black Sea the most modern American combat management system “Aegis” installed on the destroyer “USS Donald Cook”. Pavel Zolotarev, Deputy Director, Institute of USA and Canada, shares details about this version which is being actively discussed in the Russian media and by bloggers.

US destroyer “Donald Cook” with cruise missiles “Tomahawk” entered the neutral waters of the Black Sea on April 10. The purpose was a demonstration of force and intimidation in connection with the position of Russia in Ukraine and Crimea. The appearance of American warships in these waters is in contradiction of the Montreux Convention about the nature and duration of stay in the Black Sea by the military ships of countries not washed by this sea.

In response, Russia sent an unarmed bomber Su- 24 to fly around the U.S. destroyer. However, experts say that this plane was equipped with the latest Russian electronic warfare complex. According to this version, “Aegis” spotted from afar the approaching aircraft, and sounded alarm. Everything went normally, American radars calculated the speed of the approaching target. And suddenly all the screens went blank. “Aegis” was not working any more, and the rockets could not get target information. Meanwhile, Su-24 flew over the deck of the destroyer, did battle turn and simulated missile attack on the target. Then it turned and repeated the maneuver. And did so 12 times.

Apparently, all efforts to revive the “Aegis” and provide target information for the defence failed. Russia’s reaction to military pressure from the United States was profoundly calm, feels the Russian political scientist Pavel Zolotarev:

The demonstration was original enough. A bomber without any weapons, but having onboard equipment for jamming enemy radar, worked against a destroyer equipped with “Aegis”, the most modern system of air and missile defence. But this system of mobile location, in this case the ship, has a significant drawback. That is, the target tracking capabilities. They work well when there is a number of these ships which can coordinate with each other somehow. In this case there was just one destroyer. And, apparently, the algorithm of the radar in the “Aegis” system on the destroyer did not load under the influence of jamming by the Su-24. It was therefore not only a nervous reaction to the fact of flying around by the Russin bomber which was common practice during the Cold War. The reaction of the Americans was due to the fact that most modern system, especially its informative or radar part, did not work adequately. Therefore, there was such a nervous reaction to the whole episode.

After the incident, the foreign media reported that “Donald Cook” was rushed into a port in Romania. There all the 27 members of the crew filed a letter of resignation. It seems that all 27 people have written that they are not going to risk their lives. This is indirectly confirmed by the Pentagon statement according to which the action demoralized the crew of the American ship.

What are the possible consequences of the incident provoked by the U.S. in the Black Sea? Pavel Zolotarev forecasts:

I think that Americans are somehow going to reflect on improving the system “Aegis”. This is a purely military aspect. In political terms, there is hardly any likelihood of demonstrative steps by either side. That is enough. Meanwhile, for Americans it is a very unpleasant moment. In general, the missile defence system which they deploy involves huge expenditures. They have to prove each time that it is necessary to allocate funds from the budget. At the same time, the ground component of the ABM was tested in ideal conditions and showed a low efficiency. This fact is concealed by the Pentagon. The most modern component, the sea-based system “Aegis” also showed its shortcomings in the present case.

The system with which the Russian Su-24 shocked the American destroyer “Donald Cook” has the code name “Khibiny”. This is the name of the mountain range on the Kola Peninsula in the Arctic Circle. “Khibiny” is the newest complex for radioelectronic jamming of the enemy. They will be installed on all the advanced Russian planes .

Recently the complex has undergone regular testing exercises on the ground in Buryatia. Apparently, the tests which were conducted under conditions as close to real as possible, were successful.

On Tuesday afternoon, Putin paid a surprise visit to Khabarovsk, a far-eastern city hit by devastating floods in late August and early September.

“The president decided to be with those who endured this unprecedented natural disaster".

He said he would like to make a toast “for the people as well as for the health of those impacted by the flooding.”

Putin attended a New Year’s reception for rescuers and people who lost their houses in the floods, an event hosted by his envoy to the Far East region, Yury Trutnev.

Ahead of the celebration, Putin visited a temporary shelter for Khabarovsk residents rendered homeless by the disaster.

On his way to Khabarovsk, the president’s plane made a stop in the Siberian city of Chita to take on board the widow of the only person known to have died in the floods.

That person, Bair Banzaraktsaev, was a military man who took part in the rescue effort. He was driving a truck along a partially inundated highway linking Khabarovsk and another far-eastern city, Komsomolsk-on-Amur, when damp soil gave way under the heavy vehicle. He drowned while trying to prevent his truck from sliding into the water.

How many times have you seen a person elected into office on all manner of promises, only breaking those promises immediately after coming to power? In your democratic process, what power/authority do you have to enforce his compliance to promises made?

Mice have become the first creatures to experience the ‘Curious Case of Benjamin Button’ for real, as Australian and American scientists have managed to literally reverse their aging process. And they say humans could be next in line.

The discovery is centered on a compound that is like a youth elixir, targeting and reversing muscle aging, building up muscle tone and reducing inflammation and giving mice more energy – as if they have been working out in the gym. Likewise, resistance to insulin was targeted, adding diabetes to an already impressive list of age-related diseases that could soon be fought, like neurodegenerative conditions and cancers.

The resulting research was published in the journal Cell on December 20.

"I've been studying aging at the molecular level now for nearly 20 years and I didn't think I'd see a day when aging could be reversed. I thought we'd be lucky to slow it down a little bit," said Professor David Sinclair, of the University of New South Wales. He was the leader of the study, working from Harvard Medical School in the United States.

The research was tested on 6-month-old and 22-monthold old mice, comparing first how aging occurred in general, then testing the new compound on the older mice to see if the “youth potion” worked.

An explanation as to how and why aging occurs can be seen in the levels of messenger ribonucleic acid (mRNA) in the nucleus and in the mitochondria, which begin to differ with age. These levels encode genetic information around a cell.

The mitochondria are where all the hard work takes place. All mammals create energy in the way that small molecules are created when larger ones break down, and energy is released. Skeletal muscle respiration is the result of this, and its swift functioning is key to age reversal, researchers explain.

"We have chromosomes that we all know about, we call it our genome, but there's other DNA that we often don't think about - the mitochondrial DNA that we get from our mothers… what we found is that during aging these two genomes, the chromosomes, don't talk to each other,” Sinclair said, comparing the two to an aging married couple.

Although a lot of the information is carried by the mitochondria, some functions responsible for muscular respiration are encoded in information stored in the nucleus. Therefore, a balanced and coordinated functioning of both is essential, as with age it begins to fail, like a telephone call interrupted by static.

The levels of mRNA in the mitochondria declined in the older ones. And the same was noticed for proteins called SIRT-1 and another one produced by the nucleus, whose levels are connected with a higher lifespan.

The healthy coordination between the nucleus and the mitochondria were found to lie directly in the amount of those proteins – especially SIRT-1: the higher the levels, the slower the aging.

However, a bigger problem was found to lay in the so-called NAD+ molecule, its levels in the nucleus. But scientists could not account for how exactly it kept SIRT-1 levels up. Its own levels simply dwindled with age.

"When we're young, we have the high levels of NAD and if we exercise and diet, the levels of this NAD molecule are high in our body… but as we get older, and as these mice in our experiments got older, the levels went down about 50 per cent and then we could give this drug to bring the levels back up again."

To try and cheat mice organisms into producing more SIRT-1, the scientists injected the 22-month old mice with nicotinamide mono nucleotide (NMN) – a molecule directly responsible for the levels of NAD, which conversely is known to lead to an increase in SIRT-1.

The experiment worked.

Professor Sinclair was astonished, telling Cell that “the mice had more energy, their muscles were as though they'd be exercising and it was able to mimic the benefits of diet and exercise just within a week.”

As a result, human trials appear not to be far off. "We think that should be able to keep people healthier for longer and keep them from getting diseases of aging," Sinclair continued, adding that the diseases we have come to expect of old age have been drastically reversed in mice: muscle atrophy dropped, and so did inflammations – which lead to arthritis. And the most important muscle in the body – the heart – simply reversed in age as a result.

All this happened in just one week.

And the startling results have scientists seriously considering human trials within the next year, as Sinclair himself confirms that they would like to make the compound available commercially soon.

Of course without rigorous testing on humans, this is not yet a possibility, but the professor has set up a company dedicated to just that. It is no easy task, as the costs are projected to be in the millions. But so far, money is the only challenge, so we may as well start to get ready to live longer, given what we have just learned.

The 83-year-old head of the Berkshire Hathaway investment vehicle earned $12.7 billion in the year. In January the wealth of the businessman, nicknamed the “Oracle of Omaha” for his phenomenal market intuition and faultless economic forecasts, was estimated at $46.4 billion and by December it had grown to $59.1 billion. Buffett's fortune increased by about $37 million daily.

However, Buffet is still not the richest man in the world, that's the founder of Microsoft Bill Gates, whose personal wealth is estimated at $72.6 billion. His wealth only increased by $11.5 billion in 2013.

American gambling tycoon Sheldon Adelson made $11.4 billion and rounds out the top three earners.

Jeff Bezos, the founder and the chief executive of the largest world online retailer Amazon comes next with $11.3 billion, followed by the founder of Facebook, Mark Zuckerberg with $10.5 billion. At a kick-off event at the popular Garage Center for Contemporary Culture in downtown Moscow, the chief executive of Yota Devices, Vladislav Martynov, said the introduction of dual screens was “a revolution in telephone architecture” and would conserve battery life.

Mr. Martynov said that the electronic-ink display on the back of the Yotaphone would show information, including feeds from Facebook and Twitter, even when the phone is not in use. “Before Yotaphone, this space was useless,” he said.

While Russian Internet companies like the Yandex search engine are popular in Russia and software companies like Kaspersky Lab, an antivirus developer, have found international success, there have been no breakout leaders among Russian consumer technology producers, a sector where the country has traditionally lagged.

Interest in smartphones is growing in Russia, as it is in other developing countries, with two of every five phones sold in the second quarter being a smartphone, the research firm IDC said in a report last month.

The idea of the Russian-made smartphone began to take shape in 2010 when Sergei Chemezov, the head of Rostekhnologii, a government company that produces and exports high-tech equipment, showed Dmitri A. Medvedev, who was president at the time and is now prime minister, an early mock-up of the dual-screen phone.

Mr. Medvedev, a fan of Apple products who has positioned himself as a champion of innovation in Russia’s tech sector, said then that the dual-screen phone could be a key project for the industry.

Yota, which is best known for developing 4G networks and providing wireless communication services in Russia, took on the project when its parent company was partly owned by Rostekhnologii. Yota Devices, which was spun off from Yota in 2011, is privately owned.

The Russian private investment fund Wooden Fish owns a majority stake in Yota Devices, with the remaining shares in the company held by a managers’ fund, which includes Mr. Martynov, Mr. Martynov said. He declined to comment on the ownership of Wooden Fish, and said that the company’s beneficiaries have not made their names public.

The Yotaphone made a strong showing in January at the International Consumer Electronics Show in Las Vegas, where it won a CNET Best of CES Award for “Hottest Mobile Device.”

Mr. Martynov declined to say how many units were in production but said more than 10,000 orders for the phone had been placed in advance of the launching. It is being produced in Singapore, Taiwan and China, but Mr. Martynov hinted that elements of production may take place in Russia in the future.

Besides Russia, the device is being sold in Austria, France, Germany and Spain. It will go on sale in Britain in January. There are no plans to sell it in the United States.

The phone has a 4.3-inch 1280 HD display, slightly larger than the iPhone 5 but smaller than the top-selling Galaxy S4, which has a 5-inch screen.

“I’m sure the people whom we call the trendsetters will absolutely love the idea,” said Michael Tuch, chief executive of Svyaznoy, a mobile retailer that has a contract to sell the Yotaphone in Russia. “The first device is a good way of showing something new. What we’re looking for are actually the next devices, which I’m sure Yota has in their pockets.”
