Over 30 guys were travelling with this Lawyer in a Bus, all 30 men are still held in detention by the DSS without charge since July 2021 24 hrs not 3 days. If the offense or timing is not reasonable then 48 hrs. |

MartinCorridon:

All these "records" mean zilch.
At age 20, it's doubtful she can make any concrete contributions to the parliament.
25 years old, few years after first degree, maybe, but still not advisable.
30 - 40 years old is what i believe is the appropriate age for a youthful representative... tertiary education completed + some life experiences + young age (fresh perspectives) Absolute rubbish. The sooner you guys know that Nigeria is in deep shit the better. Your age grade over there is doing much better than the ones in this country. Do you know the extent she campaigned or you think it's SUG elections? That Nigeria is this bad doesn't mean SA is bad. The whole continent is leaving this failed state behind. |

AntiTerrorist: How can someone who is working in a private school be able to save from a N20,000/month salary?
Location: Osogbo, Osun State Yes. However, it will take a lot of determination and sacrifice. If you can, take out 2k or 1.5k monthly and put it in ajo/adashe. It's never too small. The only issue I have is if the naira keeps on getting devalued. |

Did I read this well or this is some joke? How can you blow 200K in less than a week? Doing what exactly? The economy is bad, yes, but 200K can still go a long way and last a full month if used wisely. Even married people would be great to earn this much money now! Is it transport? Do you eat out only/buy food? Do have dependents? If you don't know how you spend your income, then you're one very unserious fellow. |

Jobs/Vacancies › Re: Top 10 States With Biggest Increase In Allocations Since Subsidy Removal by LegallyBlunt: 3:04pm On Feb 25, 2024 |
NaijaphiliaBlog: You are right.
For example, let's take 2 states:
Before subsidy removal, Enugu was receiving ₦3.4 billion monthly; it is now ₦6.7 bn.
Nasarawa was receiving ₦4.3 billion monthly; it is now ₦12.3 billion!
etc, etc.
The Governors really need to step up and make life better for the citizens in their respective states. I understand you but, the value of 12.3 billion after subsidy was removed is still around the 4 billion mark before subsidy was removed. We can't keep doing merry go-round with the economy, especially with the dollar-naira value and expect serious changes. They should identify the economic issues and fix it accordingly. |
