Crime / Angry Mob Slaughters Nearly 300 Crocodiles In Indonesia In Revenge Attack by Legaycey: 8:35am On Jul 16, 2018
SORONG, Indonesia: An angry mob has slaughtered nearly 300 crocodiles in Indonesia after a local man was killed by one of the reptiles, authorities said Monday.

The revenge killing happened on Saturday (Jul 14) in Papua province following the funeral of the man, who was killed after he fell into an enclosure at a crocodile farm while looking for grass to feed his livestock, police and conservation officials said.

The victim, identified as 48-year-old Sugito, was bitten on the leg and then fatally struck with a tail of one of the crocodiles, which are a protected species, they said.

Sugito's relatives and local residents, angry over the farm's location near a residential area, marched to the local police station, authorities said.

Local conservation agency head Bassar Manulang said they were told that the farm had agreed to pay compensation.

"We made an agreement with the victim's family and conveyed our condolences," he added.
But the mob, which numbered in the "hundreds", was not satisfied and headed to the crocodile farm armed with knives, machetes and shovels which they used to slaughter 292 crocs, from four-inch-long babies to two-metre adults, authorities said.

Outnumbered police and conservation agency officials said they were unable to stop the grisly attack.

Authorities said they are investigating and may lay criminal charges.

"For now we are still questioning the witnesses," said Dewa Made Sidan Sutrahna, the police chief in Papua's Sorong district.

The Indonesian archipelago is home to a vast array of wildlife, including several species of crocodile that regularly attack and kill humans.
In March authorities in on the Indonesian half of Borneo island shot and killed a six-metre long crocodile after it ate a local palm plantation worker.

Two years ago, a Russian tourist was killed by a crocodile in the Raja Ampat islands, a popular diving site in the east of the archipelago.

BREAKING NEWS...

Just yesterday on Nat Geo Wild, it was announced that a very dangerous snake had
just been discovered. Scientists claimed that the snake is an enhanced species of the reptile family.

According to Nat Geo Wild, the snake increases
0.5cm in length every time it feeds and it feeds
every 30seconds or less. This particular snake cannot be killed or harmed by weapon it dies only when it bites itself.

Surprised, huh? Scientists claim that's the only
way it can be killed, but researches are still
ongoing to discover new ways this snake can
be killed.

This is the most poisonous and deadliest snake
ever recorded in the history of man.

This snake can only be found in Nokia 1110
mobile phone under game option, Snake Xenzia.

Thanks for carefully and patiently reading this

Politics / Ilorin Attack: Saraki Upset With Kwara Governor by Legaycey: 11:10pm On Sep 25, 2015
Ilorin Attack: Saraki Upset With Kwara Governor, “We Warned You"- Gov. Abdul Fatah Ahmed 26th September, 2015;.
Senate President Bukola Saraki, who was stoned yesterday with rocks and water sachets by an irate mob at the Eid Prayer Grounds in Ilorin, Kwara State, has accused Governor Abdulfatah Ahmed of leaving him vulnerable and open to attack, an aide of the governor has told SaharaReporters. Governor Abdulfatah Ahmed of Kwara State Our source added that Governor Ahmed confided in aides and the traditional ruler of Ilorin that the Senate President made himself the target of furious crowd because he failed to listen to security reports and advice urging him to stay away from Ilorin during the Sallah holiday. A security source corroborated the governor’s sentiment. According to him, security agencies in the state had been aware of public anger against the governor and Mr. Saraki, especially as information circulated among residents about the size of the senator’s assets and personal wealth. He added that many people in the state, among them unemployed youth and workers who are owed arrears of salaries, felt that the Saraki family had exploited them for years. A reporter in the state also told SaharaReporters that rumors circulated widely that Governor Ahmed had given Mr. Saraki N1 billion from Federal bailout funds meant to clear several months of salary arrears to workers. “Whether it’s true or not, the rumors were making the rounds. And they made many people incensed against the governor and Senator Saraki,” the reporter said. Other sources in the state disclosed that a few local imams (Islamic preachers), shocked by media reports about Mr. Saraki’s obscene wealth, revealed in his past asset declarations, preached about the senator’s greed. “Once we heard what the preachers were saying in mosques, we warned the governor [Ahmed] to avoid any public outing as it was clear that people [were] angry and waiting to attack him and his godfather, former Governor Saraki,” one of our security sources said. He added that, days before the Sallah festivities, security agents had seen piles of stones hidden in drainages around the prayer ground, and told the governor about it. An aide of the governor told SaharaReporters that Governor Ahmed, in turn, communicated his concerns to Mr. Saraki in Abuja. . “But Senator Saraki continued to feel that he was popular in Kwara State, especially in Ilorin,” said the governor’s aide. “He would not agree to exercise caution because he wanted to show his popularity after his ego was bruised at the Code of Conduct Bureau,” the aide added. Mr. Saraki was last week arraigned at a tribunal for false declaration of assets. Ignoring all security warnings, the Senate President reportedly ordered the governor to arrange a series of high profile events for him in the state capital. The events proposed by the embattled senator included meet and greet at the Ilorin Airport on his arrival in the state. A few days before Senator Saraki’s arrival, the airwaves were saturated with radio announcements calling on politicians and civil servants in the state to welcome the former governor at the airport. In the end, the event was abruptly canceled when security agencies warned that protesters were planning to launch an attack on Mr. Saraki at the airport. SaharaReporters learned that, a night before the Sallah prayers, Governor Ahmed told Senator Saraki that he would not attend Eid prayers at the Ilorin praying grounds on account of adverse security reports. But Mr. Saraki was not deterred, said our sources. Instead, he ordered his aides to scout the length and breadth of Ilorin and surrounding towns in order to mobilize a huge crowd to show up and sing his praises at the prayer grounds. On Sallah, Governor Ahmed headed for his hometown, avoiding showing up in Ilorin. Meanwhile, Mr. Saraki arrived at the venue where he was initially serenaded by a retinue of hired praise singers. However, shortly after the formal prayer events started, with the Chief Imam presiding, and the Emir of Ilorin, Sulu Gambari, next to him, protesters started shouting “Ole! Ole!” (meaning thief in Yoruba). Pandemonium soon ensued as the angry crowd began hurling rocks at the VIP tent. Prayers were aborted as Mr. Saraki and a coterie of other religious and political officials were smuggled out of the prayer grounds. . The police, army and civil defense agents had a hectic time clearing the way for the dignitaries to escape. Several eyewitnesses disclosed that the security agents fired teargas and live bullets to scare the rampaging protesters. In a public relations stunt, Senator Saraki quickly arranged a short press conference where some hired youth chanted his praise in the background as he spoke for a minute or two before he fled. Our source, who is an aide of the governor, told SaharaReporters that Mr. Saraki was also displeased with the governor’s media team for issuing a statement condemning the attack on Senator Saraki and other VIPs. The embattled Senator Saraki felt that the statement undermined his earlier denial that he was not the target of the stone-throwing protesters. Mr. Saraki had handpicked Mr. Ahmed to succeed him as the governor of Kwara State. State workers are being owed salaries for the last five months, a development that is seen as the result of Mr. Saraki’s financial mismanagement during his eight-year stint as state governor.

Passing by a graveyard yesterday
I saw a man crying severely at one grave m As an act of sympathy I went to him and held his hand and asked, ” What makes you cry so much, dear man.'
'Under this mound of sand lies a great person', said he
'Such a loving and caring mother was she From childhood to manhood she loved me deep Even though I deserted her in my youth She had 1 eye due to which I hated her When she visited my school my friends laughed at her
I was always mocked because of her Hers coming to my school was embarrassing for me I was so stupid, so unwise When one day without thinking I cried
'Why can't you leave me and go away? You are making my life tougher day by day! ' So bad was my treatment towards her Till the time I was sure I could abandon her To leave her for good And stand on my own foot I left her and went far away I married the most striking lady And never missed my dear mummy Did not even call her on my marriage ceremony
Mummy continued weeping and crying Just to get a glimpse of her only child She learned about my marriage after three years When I had had my own child of one year She, after many enquires, found my house And came to see me and my espoused Oh! It was terrible to see her again She was such a shame for my infant I was so upset that, on her face, I slammed the door This for her was a hurting blow she wept and wept and went back home And left all of us all alone
I and my family lived a happy life While my mother, for me cried and cried Years continue to pass by I neither heard nor did I see her ever again When all of a sudden she died A busy person like me can’t go to her funeral”, I had cried
Few days later a letter arrived It was from my mother That she must have posted before she died Contained in it was a horrible truth The letter went like this
“Dear son of mine Your horrible treatments I did not mind I forgave you all the time……. But there is something I hid from you my entire life That is, during childhood when you lost an eye, I gave you mine.”

Education / 10 Myths About INTROVERTS by Legaycey: 12:05am On Aug 29, 2015
10 myths about introverts:

Myth #1 : Introverts don’t like to talk.
This is not true. Introverts just don’t talk unless they have something to say. They hate small talk. Get an introvert talking about something they are interested in, and they won’t shut up for days.

Myth #2 : Introverts are shy.
Shyness has nothing to do with being an
Introvert. Introverts are not necessarily afraid of people. What they need is a reason to interact. They don’t interact for the sake of interacting. If you want to talk to an Introvert, just start talking. Don’t worry about being polite.

Myth #3 : Introverts are rude.
Introverts often don’t see a reason for beating
around the bush with social pleasantries. They
want everyone to just be real and honest.
Unfortunately, this is not acceptable in most
settings, so Introverts can feel a lot of pressure to fit in, which they find exhausting.

Myth #4 : Introverts don’t like people.
On the contrary, Introverts intensely value the
few friends they have. They can count their close friends on one hand. If you are lucky enough for an introvert to consider you a friend, you probably have a loyal ally for life. Once you have earned their respect as being a person of substance, you’re in.

Myth #5 : Introverts don’t like to go out in public. Nonsense. Introverts just don’t like to go out in public FOR AS LONG. They also like to avoid the complications that are involved in public activities. They take in data and experiences very quickly, and as a result, don’t need to be there for long to “get it.” They’re ready to go home, recharge, and process it all. In fact, recharging is absolutely crucial for Introverts.

Myth #6 : Introverts always want to be alone.
Introverts are perfectly comfortable with their
own thoughts. They think a lot. The daydream. They like to have problems to work on, puzzles to solve. But they can also get incredibly lonely if they don’t have anyone to share their discoveries with. They crave an authentic and sincere connection with ONE PERSON at a time.

Myth #7 : Introverts are weird.
Introverts are often individualists. They don’t
follow the crowd. They’d prefer to be valued for their novel ways of living. They think for
themselves and because of that, they often
challenge the norm. They don’t make most
decisions based on what is popular or trendy.

Myth #8 : Introverts are aloof nerds.
Introverts are people who primarily look inward, paying close attention to their thoughts and emotions. It’s not that they are incapable of paying attention to what is going on around them, it’s just that their inner world is much more stimulating and rewarding to them.

Myth #9 : Introverts don’t know how to relax and have fun.
Introverts typically relax at home or in nature, not in busy public places. Introverts are not thrill seekers and adrenaline junkies. If there is too much talking and noise going on, they shutdown. Their brains are too sensitive to the
neuro-transmitter called Dopamine. Introverts and Extroverts have different dominant neuro-
pathways. Just look it up.

Myth #10 : Introverts can fix themselves and
become Extroverts.
A world without Introverts would be a world with few scientists, musicians, artists, poets,
film-makers, doctors, mathematicians, writers, and philosophers. That being said, there are still plenty of techniques an Extrovert can learn in order to interact with Introverts. (Yes, I reversed these two terms on purpose to show you how biased our society is.) Introverts cannot “fix themselves” and deserve respect for their natural temperament and contributions to the human race. In fact, one study (Silverman, 1986) showed that the percentage of Introverts increases with IQ.

PRIORITIES

I was Taking a walk around the University, just before me two men with bikes bumped into each other...
Nobody should really be blamed among the two... Their individual reactions got me thinking, each person was busy examining His bike, nobody cared to know if the other
injured.

Don't you see it everyday? Where two cars hit themselves, each will come out and examine his car first before
checking if his neighbour was fine...

We are in a society where we value WHAT above WHO...

Where WHAT was lost is mourned above WHO was lost...

Where many preachers are good fund raisers but poor soul raisers...

Where judges can convict the innocent for affluence...

Where we kill who just to get what...

Where Parents work both in the office and at home... Just to make more money... And have derailed kids who
all they enjoy from parents is "He bought me..."

Finally parents provide all the WHAT's kids need but not the WHO they need...

The kids start also preferring WHAT to WHO... Can have 'his brothers' cry to death than share 'his chocolate' with them

When shall this trend end...

Let's not even try to consider God in this discussion because many of us will feel terrible...
No need to do that... Or can't you remember again that "GOD UNDERSTANDS"... but let's still focus on ourselves... Let's really start preferring WHO to WHAT... Even if the WHO isn't yours but the WHAT is yours... Yet the WHO is Bigger than the WHAT.

God says "love your neighbour as yourself" but the problem now is that we love our goats above our neighbours...

Remember, After this earth's works...
After getting all the WHAT's...
After despising many WHO's...
You shall only leave with your WHO...
To join other WHO's... Without any of those WHAT's...

So, Forever place WHO before WHAT
