Following the recent promotion approval by the Police Service Commission, PSC, of the 6,455 senior police officers contained in a recommendation memo seen by Secret Reporters, from the Inspector General of Police, Idris Ibrahim has just ordered for special immediate promotion of some Sergeants to Inspectors without due course.

....the last name on the list was recently promoted March this year and has gained another promotion in less than seven months, without anything to show for such accelerated speed. According to our informant, only persons from the North gains from the special promotion while those from the south are blatantly neglected.

On another note quality ain't cheap. Graduates aren't employable because the system does push them out. Irrespective of thier academic qualification.

Be realistic how much do good schools cost abroad. Not havard or Oxford. I mean regular schools.

Education in Nigeria was made cheap for everyone to get it. At the same time standards dropped.

Then a school cert holder could teach in a secondary school because he was well taught. Now some school cert holders are just above memtal retardation.

The good news is no beef, if you can't afford it look somewhere else.

1000 and 10000 can't buy the same shirt.

Ps I was at a private secondary school in lagos school fees was almost 2m a term. After going through the brochure and watching the kids being taught impromptu ( they werent expecting us) i understood why it was so high.

The teachers are well paid every month, thier academic calender surpasses what is seen in most secondary schools and thier kiddie games are out of this world. Painting, instruments playing, tye and dye, art, name it. Sports all round. Every child finds a niche something he's good at and the school nutures it in addition to academics. They have teachers who don't teach but are strictly for sports, camping and the likes.

Abeg let us work hard.
Pikin wey no sabi book, no sabi book. If you like teach am tye and dye or painting. Its not by paying 2m a term though I agree with you to an extent that the exposure helps, that shouldn't make one pay as much as 2m a term for a kid in Basic 1. Haba its too much jare.

PoliticsGov. Obiano Maps Out N1.5 Billion To Buy Traders Chairmen To Endorse Him by legenduq(op):
As the 2017 Anambra state governorship election draws near, most of the governorship aspirants are doing all within their powers to sway voters their way. The incumbent governor of the state is not left out as he has deployed deceitful tactics of his own to make sure he retains the seat come November 2017.

Secret Reporters recently confirmed that during a recent meeting of the Anambra State Market Amalgamated Traders Association, ASMATA, convened by the President of all markets in Anambra State, Chief Okwudili Ezenwankwo, who unsurprisingly was retained as a member of the Governor’s campaign team, the Governor mandated the members and their respective market leaders to make sure that no political party holds any campaign in any market across the state other than his party, the All Progressive Grand Alliance (APGA).

While given mouth-watery promises they were also instructed to close down all markets and unanimously endorse the incumbent Governor, these they agreed to provided money was involved. In reciprocation for the endorsement Gov. Obiano equally extended his largesse to the market leaders by mapping out a sum of 25 million naira to each market chairman.

Kogi State Deputy Governor, Elder Simon Achuba reportedly aided the vandalization of a property located between his office and the popular Basil Palace along Salihu Ibrahim road, GRA, Lokoja.

The vandals, who stormed the area in the early hours of Friday, demolished the fence, smashed the apartment’s windows and threatened to harm the residents. The disputed property, a 4-bedroom apartment built on a choice plot that shares fence with Kogi State Deputy Governor’s office. It was gathered that the immediate past Deputy Governor of the state, Arc. Yomi Awoniyi made attempts to acquire the property but was unwilling to pay the asking price. The property was later sold to Alhaji Mohammed Danladi, the owner of Basil Palace. Few months after, it was reported that Achuba bought the property for 35million Naira. He was allegedly scammed by the widow of the deceased former owner.

Unconfirmed reports said Achuba bought the disputed property on behalf of the state government through a company owned by his younger brother. A source said Achuba collected over a hundred million naira from the state government for the purchase of the property. He said when the number two man in the state learnt that he might have been scammed, he resorted to illegal use of force and intimidation.

PoliticsPolice Abducts Social Media Critic On Orders Of Gov. Ben Ayade by legenduq(op): 8:51pm On Oct 21, 2017
A sinister plot hatched and orchestrated by agents of the Government of Cross River State in collaboration with some compromised Police Officers of the Cross River State Police Command to use the machinery of the apparatuses of the State Government to shackle, manacle, oppress and victimize a Citizen Paul Ifere, a leading social media critic against the incompetent Ben Ayade government with a trumped up charge of kidnapping and belonging to a Secret society has been exposed.

Secret Reporters gathered that Paul Ifere who was purportedly arrested by some Police Officers in Abuja on Thursday 20th October 2017 had earlier written a petition to the police on a plot to assassinate him by the Cross Rivers State Government. Subsequently he was invited by the police based on the petition, when he made himself available, it turned out it was a trick as he was abducted and driven all night to SCID Diamond Hill Calabar, where Ayade instructed the police not to allow anyone access to him.

Investigations conducted by Secret Reporters also revealed that the operation was coordinated by the Chief of Staff to Governor Ayade; Security Adviser to Governor Ayade and the Chief of the Green Homeland Security. Presently Paul Ifere is being illegally detained at a cell in Diamond Hill State Police Headquarters, Calabar. The plan is that he would be arraigned before a Magistrates’ Court on Monday the 23rd October 2017 on a trumped up charge of kidnapping and alleged membership of a Secret Society.

The real intention by these villainous agents is to abuse the legal process and use it to oppress Paul Ifere as there is no atom or scintilla of evidence to ground the allegation.

PoliticsImpeached Delta Speaker Monday Igbuya Defrauds Fmr Aide Of N12 Million by legenduq(op): 2:16pm On Oct 19, 2017
An aggrieved former aide to Hon. Monday Igbuya the Former Speaker of Delta State House of Assembly who was impeached this year has defied all odds to boldly accuse his former boss of defrauding him to the tune of over 9 million Naira while he was the House Majority Leader. Mr. Frank Itua Abiodun who was a legislative aide to the impeached former speaker recently petitioned the EFCC on how his former boss lured him into giving him his monthly salary and allowances for over 3 years under the guise of helping him save for the purpose of furthering his studies abroad.

In his petition to EFCC made available to Secret Reporters, Mr Frank stated:”When I received the first payment in 2012, Hon. Monday Igbuya whom I took as a father called me to his house at Sapele and advised me to save my monies very well. He insisted that he would help keep the monies for me until the end of his tenure wherein he will hand over the entire money to me to enable me travel out of Nigeria for further studies”

Following investigation made by Secret Reporters, the aide earned the sum of N256,000 (two hundred and fifty six thousand) monthly as salary as a legislative assistant, plus allowances. At the end of each month, upon receiving his salary he was deceitfully compelled by the former speaker to keep the sum of N30,000 (thirty thousand naira) to himself and pay in the remaining amount to his personal account. He reportedly paid the sum of N226,000 (two hundred and twenty six thousand naira) monthly for three consecutive years into the devious former speaker’s GT Bank account number 0032375304 and other accounts provided he provided with relevant bank tellers of the transactions made available to us, totaling N2,712,000 annually and N8,136,000 for the duration of three years

PoliticsHow Dstv Bribes National Assembly Members Every Four Years by legenduq(op): 2:35pm On Oct 16, 2017
Secrets Reporters in its recent investigation has uncovered how South African Cable TV company DSTV has maintained monopoly in the cable-satellite TV industry over the years and why Nigerian Lawmakers choose to remain silent over the lingering and persistent clamp down on emerging companies like the newly launched TSTV which is viewed as a strong competitor by Nigerians.

More is yet to surface about bribes in cash which have been reportedly doled out by DSTV to third party channels, and our Nigeria regulatory agencies.

Secret reporters confirmed from two serving Senators who craved anonymity that apart from other incentives, lawmakers in the upper and lower chambers of the House also enjoy free uninterrupted premium cable TV services courtesy of DSTV in their residence, offices and official quarters.

We gathered that DSTV has a non written agreement with the leadership of each NASS that comes onboard, where they are spoilt with such pecks of patronage, thus gagging them from allowing free hands to any other cable network who refuses to play such ball. “TSTV are their own problem. Did they ever tell us what to gain or if they will give us free subscription till we leave office like their counterpart did. You don’t just come to a place and not learn how things work”, one of the Senators told this medium.

Whatever guts and arrogance popular satellite television DSTV had many years ago died completely two weeks ago in Nigeria. To DSTV, nothing like Pay TV or Pay as you watch. To DSTV, whatever they offered us as Nigerians was simply the best and we dare not complain. To DSTV, we were their cash cows. To DSTV, we are puppets that can be controlled at will and who are we to dare just complain. We are nobody. All these changed when a new baby entered the stage. All the arrogance was punctured when a new whiz kid came on block and since them the centre in DSTV could no longer hold. The songs of inability to have Pay TV changed as soon as the new baby TSTV came with a bang and took the terrestrial wave by storm with readiness to not just offer Pay as you watch but also gift users with 20gb monthly to browse with.

While in the office today, I was discussing with my colleagues on which of the telecoms Wi-Fi we should buy to enable all staff use, and I was told bluntly to forget about buying any Wi-Fi but to wait for TSTV with their 20gb for us to use. Nigerians can’t wait any longer. The wait for TSTV to berth finally on the satellite soil is like waiting for godot. Alas this hope may soon be dashed, as TSTV may NEVER launch in life. This waiting may just be in vain, as billions of Naira has been deployed by DSTV to our nation’s regulatory agencies, third party channels and even our National Assembly to stop TSTV from giving us the Pay as you watch that we have long waited for.

This is the bad news and I dare DSTV to prove me wrong. Fellow Nigerians, DSTV as I write has officially written to over twenty third party channels bribing them with billions of dollars to withdraw the rights they initially. That’s not all;

This is preposterous and unacceptable.
