I want anyone in the house to help me with the information, I had that the Post MPCE of Federal Polytechnic Ede is coming up on 10th and 11st of October 2008, and I have not buy my form, I want to know if I can purchase this form (Scratch card) from any branch of the banks stipulated on their website because presently I am in Lagos State, I wait to read from you guys.

score 189 in the MPCE, and my first choice is Federal Polytechnic Ede - (Marketing)and second Choice Rufus Giwa Polytechnic - (Accountancy). I saw your post this evening, I will only advise you to try Uniosun though i dont know their cut off but I think even if you didnot choose them as your first or second choice, they will still allow you to do the post, "if their cut off is below 200.

Another advise is to try register for this year Poly Jamb before it will close, even if you later didnot get into the University, the polytechnic will be your alternative and it is going to help and be focus.

Donot be discourage that Polytechnic is not good but think of your future and it start somewhere.

I am so confuse about this year admission into the University of Ilorin because they have announce the cut off score for Medicine and some science course but for art and admin courses, they have not mention any cut off score.

According to the info I gather from people, think this year admission into any higher institution will be 200 and above, this will be my conclusion of this matters, if you score above 200, just go home, prepare for the post jamb and pass because it is going to be computer relative questions and use of English only (source Unilorin website).

Please donot let anyone confuse that Unilorin run IJMB programme, Unilorin has a remedial course which is very interesting for student in science department, art department, etc,  and this programme is like Pre-degree courses. Therefore, donot let anyone confuse you,  this should be clear to you that Unilorin only admit student with IJMB to 200 level.

Just try to go through what the Chairman, Implementation Committee on the University.

The Chairman, Implementation Committee on Kwara State University, Prof. Shuaib Abdulraheem, has said that the institution will take off this year.

Addressing a press conference in Ilorin on Thursday, Abdulraheem said seven sub-committees had been inaugurated to make the dream a reality.

He listed the committees to include academic brief, master plan, physical planning, government and administration, draft law, finance and budget and transition.

The sub-committees, he said, would submit their report by September when the university would begin its academic programmes.

He expalined that the university would take care of the growing number indigenes seeking university admission.

He noted that the univeristy would compete favourably with others, federal and state, in standard, quality and academic, adding that the fees would also be affordable

The former vice-chancellor of the University of Ilorin, said the state government would also inject N2bn annually to the university to take care of its basic needs until the institution stabilised financialy.

Abdulraheem also told journalists that the present Kwara State Polytechnic would serve as the main campus of the university while the state polytechnic would be relocated to its original site at the Institute of Technology, otherwise known as the mini campus of UNILORIN.

I was told that Lasu have started selling their sandwich programme form,  can anyone tell me how is the programme run, the do and dont of the programme and where i can buy the form. Please I need this information quick as possible. thanks
