This Youwin connect there is no where they stated they gonna give grant even to the eventual 5,000 they will pick. All I see is training upon training, at the end, you submit you business plan. It is not clear whether they will provide grant, soft loan or anything as such. Please someone should help elaborate, or I am not Understanding something...

They will give grant and also administer monitoring and support...be prepared for d training process ..that call it training but it is actually a screening process....minimum 1m...maximum 10m

I'll also lay part of the blame on previous & current scholars who wrongly bent the rules of engagement by hastingly leaving the country without securing their welfare having heard reports of complaints of no mobilization/prompt payment for the past 4yrs if not more, now they are facing hardship. Because it happened to others and few felt"it won't happen to me" resulted to this.

PTDF scholarship may not be perfect but it remains the best model for other scholarships by Govt agencies to adopt/improve upon.

NDDC is for us & we are paramount & deserve the best being citizens of this blessed region.

My question is when will the negative reports concerning this scholarship end? Only a fool repeats same mistakes. Pls lets do better this time.

... Hurriedness not an excuse... I was even in d UK wen I got my award letter... I have received payment twice... My school has received my fees twice.... Y is it dat it is my last payment dat reminded dem dat I left d country in hurry.

... U guys shld difa ur conditional offer letters to early next year.. & relax ur minds... Or focus on other things... Even if d list comes today sef... They are still many more unending processes....... Those of us who hastily traveled after d least came suffered a great deal.

List not being out has nothing to do with non payment of 2014 and 2015 scholars... Go back to d lane of history.. Nddc list has always been late...some of 2013, 2014 & 2015 and even 2016 scholars differed their admission as a result late nddc compass... Wat some of us are confused about is... How can an organization be owing 2014 scholars.. Yet processing 2017 list... It makes no sense... If d previous scholarship was fraud... We expect an effective organization to b able to handle d situation on time.. Instead it ignored everyone...its absolutely not fair

Dis country sef eh... nddc never pay 2014 & 2015 PhD.. as well as part of 2016..yet they done bring out 2017/2018...i advise u guys to b firm with dem b4 una leave dis country o... else oyimbo land no dey make sense without money... part time job can hardly pay for both feeding and houserent + if skool begin log u out coz of skool fees... ur moral go low 100%..i hav talked.

Is it dat 2014 & 2015 PhD scholars have been forgotten?

Even d last payment 4 2014 PhD students has not yet been effected. D annoying part is dat financial hustle in order to survive & pay fees has distracted many of us from our studies .Dat means more stress 4 us in our extra year. NDDC no b am at all....

You'd come back baba. Attend, pick up your letter, submit it to the school, NDDC will pay and the school will refund it back to your account.

PTDF aptitude test is no joke....pls reverse as MANY past questions as u can. Is there anyone dat applied for PhD?

annfeliks: please shed more light on this your write up because I don't know how one can obtain admission. Is it post graduate admission or wat? *confused*

part of d requirement for application for scholarship was that u shld hav an admission letter frm any UK university (dat is if u ar applying for MSC or PHD). U ar supposed to hav an admission letter by now coz if PTDF is going to commence d 2013/2014 process, they wld b no time 2 giv u full assistance. PTDF is so far d best scholarship funding unit in Nigeria, and I believe they ar doing everytin they can, else, it is not there fault. They hav been complaining of recent and hav been pleading wit FG to release funds. If worst comes to worse, we wld hav to differ admissions to january.

Me, personally, I refused to sign a 3 years bond with CBN and took to lecturing so as 2 qualify 4 PHD.
I have tasted PTDF scholarship. It is one of d best tin that can happen to u in dis failed system. We are getting signals dat tinz wld happen next week( although d intel is frm a junior staff).
D best we can do now is encourage dem via media and pray 4 dem. God dey.

Fellow netizens, is there any current update on PTDF?

The question of how much CBN pays was never answered.

Only few people tried to answer d question dat was really asked.

Pls can somebody with concrete information tell me how much central bank pays.
