Pls i want matured minds in the house and experienced peeps to answer aw a man can cope or treat his short tempered wife.
This is a woman who picks offence in virtually everything that happens in d house even among her co workers at work, the taxi driver that carried her, even d passangers she sit win in a bus to the bike man that carried her, pple she buys things from, infact the list is endless everybody is always offending her.
In the house she always see somthing to complain about, to d extent that one will be beging her not to vex even when she is at fault, infact so many other thinz like that that one cannot finish saying.
To guys in d house av u been in a situation like this bfor and can someone treat such a wife since its not easy to change her at dis stage.

why don't u leave d house for her, even d bible says dat it is better to live under d bridge than living with contentious woman. so I urge u to keep silent anytime she raise up or leave d house or else if she see u not saying anything, u will just hear bottle coke on ur head. TRUTH IS BITTER

Continue trecking and pastors will be buying jets and building universities even ur children can't afford to attend

The best tithes u must pay is to reach out to d needy (love ur brothers as urselves) rather than invested in church. even our pastors know these but won't reveal to members as money become their earning in every short service. though it is good to gv church money for managing d welfare but not our church nowadays. 80% of them founded church in order to make money as investment not for Christ. compare church with Muslim religion of nowadays. how many universities Muslim religion has built and how big mosques has been established. but their own God never sleep. we said we are following Christ. does Christ had a place he stay during his time. NO. so, if u re Christ follower. u have to take or burden and follow him not ur church. how many Christian s are in group discussing abt Christ like d way youths argue abt football. no. but we only discuss Christ among ourselves. instead if us to go to abete where agberi drinking shape, cannabis and other hard drugs or go to prostitute house to preach or share d good news. Jesus said wen one thought he was dinning with a sinner. but he let dem know DAT his own doctor does not need to heal dose who re already healed but who are sick. am a sinner but lookijng for grace to obey and be commitment to serve him.
MAY GOD HELP US AND ENLIGHT US TO KNOW D TRUTH. COS SOME HAVE TURN BIBLE TO ELABORATION FOR THEIR OWN SELFISH INTEREST.

Family / Re: My Brother-in-law Beat My Sister This Morning. What Should I Do? by Lemibare(m): 2:51pm On Mar 28, 2016
Last2comment:
My sister has been married to him for about 2years now and they have a beautiful baby.

According to my sister " He came back home this morning (1am) drenched in alcohol. His first complain was that my sister didn't come out to open the gate for him quick enough. She apologised and said she slept off waiting for him to come back. On entering the room she discovered as he was pulling off, that his boxers were "inside out". She asked him why that was as she saw him dress before he left him the previous day and that he was dressed correctly. She then told him that if he is playing any games outside he should always use protection so as not to infect her with STI. That was when he started beating and slapping her. She was crying as she was telling me this morning.

I calmed her down and told her to read her bible as she was already talking about having her own pound of flesh back. I also told her that whenever he comes home drunk she should do everything he asks to avoid further confrontations and wait till his head is "correct" before talking with him.

My problem now is that, how do I confront the man as I intend going to their house later on today. My major problem is that he should not lay his hands on my sister again coz that's what gonna make be go ballistic and nuclear simultaneously.

Advice me. Thanks.

IT IS A COMMON POINT TO KNOW DAT UR PPLE DO NOT LIKE THEMSELVES DATS WHY THEY KILL ONE ANOTHER. U DIS PPLE NEED TO BE EDUCATED ON WAT WE CALL POLITICAL CONFLICT.
YORUBAS HAVE LEARNT THEIR LESSON because THEY HAVE EDUCATED THOSE THUGERY HIRE BY POLITICIANS. OR IF U CAN KEEP RECORD OF HOW MANY VIOLENCE OCCUR DURING THE LAST ELECTION IN S/WEST. NOT LIKE BEFORE COS WE EDUCATE THEM LIKE D WAY U CAN DO INSTEAD OF ADDING SALT TO D WOUND.
DNT BLAME BUHARI FOR VIOLENCE HAPPENING IN PH BUT THE PPLE THERE NEED TO BE EDUCATED DAT THOSE THEY ARE FIGHTING FOR MAY BECOME FRIENDS TOMORROW. AND THOSW LOST THEIR LIVES ARE JUST DI DAT IN VAIN.
Pls get it ryt dat dis man is not God and he is doing best to bring this nation to d promised land. he just need ur support not ur criticism. as one Nigerian and WE ARE ONE IN ACCORD

U must be a supernatural being to have known that Buhari means well for Nigeria but ur so called forces and agents of whatever are really frustrating his efforts. Buhari left power in the 80s...can u recall of his contributions to the nation as a former leader via education etc?
He has been in the race since 2003 and eventually clinch the seat in 2015 but yet couldn't have a vision for a devastated Nigeria?
in his words, he didn't do well to save life during Kogi, Bayelsa and Rivers elections but the lives lost in Agatu aren't real Nigerians because it wasn't during elections! Ur hypocritical president could quickly comment on the Bomb blast in Brussels, Belgium in order to deceive his cronies like u that he is relevant in the international system?
Everyday, all we hear from this government is similar deception without any real zeal to curb our economic malaise!
Power supply is sorry case, education is worsening daily and our democracy is becoming an eye sore everyday! Our democracy is fake and buhari has failed before and I am sorry if such won't repeat itself!

all corruption during his adminstration are being recovered now. if a man worked under him can still trillion naira. how much do we expect from u as a leader could have stolen.
it will soon be his (gej) turn for probe. I bet u he will be jailed.
whether u like it or yes. all money he and his cabinet stole will be recovered and they must face the law or bring them to justice

Health / Re: Her Blood Is Not On My Hands - The Travails Of A Nigerian Medical Doctor by Lemibare(m): 11:15pm On Mar 23, 2016
[quote author=sofadj post=44037086]I own a hospital in Southwest- (not Osun state Nigeria ...lol). I currently have about 17 patients on my ward each of whom I have admitted at several occasions through emergency. None of these patients has paid upto 30% of his/her bill. Some of them have stayed upto 7 weeks on the ward. I admitted and attended to them based on the fact that their conditions were life-threatening as at the time they came. I made their bill known to them - and they signed before they were treated. But there is a common trend, as soon as they felt relief and became stable they pleaded for their bills to be reduced - this I vehemently refused.

About 4 weeks ago a woman was rushed in with Eclampsia having just convulsed while pregnant and she was unconscious. I promptly took her straight to the theatre without collecting a dime though i had informed the relatives of the charges - #120,000 for her operation and medications. They signed and I carried out the surgery succesfully. Mother and baby survived. Within the following 6-days they paid a total sum of #12,000 and they began pleading to go home for the child's christening ceremony. I looked at them with disdain. Till now, they have only managed to pay a total sum of #14,000.

Another man who was managed for strangulated hernia has only paid 20,000 out of 75,000 bill. And the list goes on. Their failure to pay has made it difficult for the hospital to replace consumables and medications needed to manage other people's condition.
In the early hours of today 1:30am, a woman was rushed into the hospital following delivery at the referrral center. Blood had refused to stop gushing out. I did a quick assesment and realised she would need more materials than the hospital pharmacy currently had in store. I could have my staff get from a nearby pharmacy too. However, the husband said he had no money on him and so did the numerous relatives that accompanied. It was indeed a familiar pattern. I decided to let them go. I referred her to a government hospital. Ofcourse they pleaded for me to help but there was nothing I could do. Few minutes after they left - just few metres from my hospital gate, she collapsed. She had lost a lot of blood. I rushed there and rigorously tried resuscitating her right there outside the hospital 2am early morning, but all efforts proved abortive. A young woman of 28years had just died after having her first baby. Screams, wails, cries ensued. I felt bad - this is not why i became a doctor. But her blood is not on my hands.

Her blood is on the hands and heads of all the patients on the ward who can afford to pay but refused to - on the grounds that - "What will they do?. Her blood is on the hands and heads of the government officials past and present who have made it difficult and impossible for workers to get paid for their work. But the government officials are not the target of this my narrat. It is aimed at those who take hospital healthcare and medical doctors for granted. Those (including myself) who emphasise that doctors should not put money first before treating emergency conditions. In emergency cases, relatives would go to any length through any struggle to get money. As soon as the situation becomes calm, they relax and then they refuse to pay.

Last year a distant relative of mine was delivered of her baby via Caesearian section (in a hospital in Lagos- not mine). They were billed #180,000 which they accepted before the operation. After the surgery, her husband called me and asked how much I charge and i told him. He then began pleading with the management of the said hospital to review his bill. They declined. The husband being who he is, paid #120,000 and absconded with his wife and his newly born son. How he did this, I do not know, but i know that at the christening ceremony a week later, he had two cows slaughtered to celebrate the birth of his first son.

Many times we complain of doctors who ask for charges before treating patients but no one has ever bothered to ask the doctors why they do? Doctors are humans too, we need to pay bills. This is our trade, our profession, our means of livelihood. We have needs too. We can not go to the market place with the ID showing that we're doctors and hope to get food items on credit. We need to pay our children's school fees, we need clothes , shelter etc just as you. Everywhere in the world healthcare is expensive, both services and materials are exepensive. Well we understand that you may not have money. The government should find a way. The government should find a way/policy that ensures that we get our money back after we have rendered our service. In the UK there is the National Health Scheme, in the United states they have health insurance schemes too in addition to Medicare, Medicaid. In Nigeria we have the barely effective, poorly regulated and massively corrupt National Health Insurance Scheme.

Well i have decided to change the modus operandi of my institution. The previous one has not benefitted anybody. Henceforth if any one comes to my emergency room without a dime. I will not attend to. If such a person dies, the blood is not on my hands, its on the hands of those who have received treatment in the past and failed to pay afterwards.
[/quot

it's so pathetic abt d situation of dis country DAT pple hav no insurànce to get a quicker Health service
