onegentleguy: I guess u are probably referring to the notification of below listing standard (BLS). ...which is part of the small matter of coys with a less than 20% free float. Well that isn't much of a problem. ...for the likes of Union bank, Transcorp hotel, E-transact, Champion breweries to mention just a few are all in the same boat. However, CAVERTON seems to be the coy with the least % deficiency amongst all. ...It has just 2.6% deficiency, with about 17.4% of its outstanding shares now freely floated.
Yes its a small matter that contributes to the illiquid nature of the stock, but its not a problem for Mr TIME. ...For he is already working on it !! Immediately I saw that below listing standard, I had to run. Next time I will ask questions before taking my decisions. Thanks. |

Concentration makes you rich, Diversification keeps you rich. When you are young, that is time to make concentrated bets and if you are fortunate enough to find a great trend, buy with both hands and diversify later.

Following from the 1st 97.7% equity divestment from its West African arm to Manzi Finances SA for €61M, the bank plans to also divest from its UK arm DIAMOND BANK UK which is presently valued at over N7.9 billion.

Chibuking81: You want kill the bank? That should be 36% per annum, if that happened no body will buy treasure bill again. Most bank workers don't know the amount paid to customers on fix deposit. The highest you can get will not be above 7% . Meaning 7% divided by 12 months = 0.58% per a month. #1 million on fix deposit going by 7% will give you #70,000 only per annum. I was surprised when I saw what the guy posted so I needed to clear my doubt. The marketer didn't do his homework very well. |

Harbewilliams: Uber is one business that is worth investing in if you’d like to earn ₦120,000 monthly on a ₦1,500,000 investment. The 2 most important factors to succeed in the business are getting a practical car that is in good working condition. As well as getting a good and trustworthy driver.
E-hailing companies accepts 2003 and above four door cars. However, buying a 2003-2006 model is better so the car can repay itself on time whilst having a life span of 3 to 4 years on the platform before they yank if off.
When choosing the most practical car to use, you have to consider the following factors: Purchase cost, fuel economy, good air conditioner, reliability, maintenance cost, life span, resale value etc..
Despite how lucrative the business is, I noticed several cars have been pulling out of the Uber business due to accidents, reliability issues, fuel consumption especially vehicles with 6 cylinder engines etc.
I want to talk about investment and return on investment (ROI) in the context of E-hailing business (uber, taxify, oga taxi) So I was researching fixed deposit rates, not to invest but to get a comparison between that and an investment in Uber.
The best rate I was able to get was 3% on a 30 day fix, that is, if you left your money with the bank for 30 days, they would give you an appreciation on your capital of 3%. So I though, let's choose a nominal figure for the sake of this post, a figure of say #1,500,000.
If you fix #1,500,000 naira on a percentage of 3%, at the end of the term, you make a profit (or interest) of 50,000 naira. A whooping sum of #12,500 per week. I believe there is also a service charge, though negligible, it will affect your bottom line.
Now let us look at an equivalent investment on Uber, Now that e-hailing companies is accepting year 2003 cars and newer. Let's say you invest in Uber with #1,500,000. You are guaranteed returns of #120,000/130, 000 per month , #30,000/32, 500 per week.
From my layman calculation that is about 8% compared to fixed deposits' 3%.
Quite a difference when the capital we speak of is #1,500,000 .
Now, I think you may speak of risk. Fixed deposits are essentially risk free, while Uber carries certain risks; accident, theft, fire etc., but that is where insurance comes in. For about #50,000 naira you can negate all risks, for up to 1 year. Over the course of a year, that is 4000 every month. Risk averted. If we were to deduct interest from risk premium (insurance) we get a profit of 116,000 per month, still much higher than fixed deposit.
One legitimate concern of course is, what happens to mechanic costs when you have to fix the car (this is a variable and highly dependent on other factors, also it is unpredictable so I won't calculate that here), if you get a good vehicle, you don't have to worry about mechanic costs, I have been driving my car on Uber for 3 months and haven't had cause to visit a mechanic, so it's been all profit for me.
So how do you get a good car? Leave that to us, we can help you source for well-maintained vehicles from reputable car dealerships. As fleet managers, we can help you purchase sound vehicles for your investment.
It is worthy to mention that no investment vehicle (no pun intended) is devoid of risk, fixed deposits are affected by inflation while Uber vehicles are affected by depreciation.
I think any investment that out performs the local fixed deposit rates is a good investment. Think about it.
Invest in E-HAILING (Uber, Taxify, Oga Taxi) today. contact us today fleetdrive2016@gmail.com 07016682929 (whatsapp) Please which bank can I get monthly 3% on fixed deposit? I am interested. |
