pjecly:you can call me all you want but I am objective in my analysis cuz am not a zombie that swallows everything, right or wrong. many uninformed Nigerians know only how to support but do not know how to make demands on their leaders and this is very sad unfortunately we are presently towing the same path PDP supporters towed which led to the mess the party got Nigeria into. |
- Sheikh Ahmad Gumi says Buhari needs to reverse economic policies – The Islamic cleric says Dasuki does not deserve to be detained Dr. Ahmad Abubakar Gumi has blamed President Muhammadu Buhari for the current economic hardship and has warned the president to reverse the austere measures he has taken in order to make Nigerians happy. In an interview with Leadership, the Kaduna-based cleric also spoke on the continued detention of Sambo Dasuki, the former national security adviser and other officials who served during the administration of Goodluck Jonathan. He said they were only errand boys and that putting them in prison was against the principle of justice. ‘‘Of course there is the oil glut and the price has gone down but still, half of the problem is because of the government policies on the economy. I’ve heard one of the economists say, one, there is no clear-cut economic blueprint by the government. “Secondly, people will be so surprised that to know that during Jonathan’s regime, a lot of money was brought out from the government’s coffers and distributed widely across the country and this improved the circulation of currency among the populace. “So, what Nigeria needs now is not just to tighten the mouth but to spend more judiciously on even the private sector. There are airlines that are collapsing, give them a lot of soft loans, banks are collapsing, give them money. What truly Nigeria needs now is first aid. Let food be cheap and available, let fuel be cheap and available, let education be a priority.” He urged President Buhari to stick to the constitution which makes every suspect innocent until proven guilty. He said it would be unjust to arrest former president, Jonathan as the circumstances surrounding the supposed misappropriation of fund were not clear to anyone. “Dasuki was the NSA, an adviser to the president and was directly responsible to the president, so I think detaining Dasuki for even one second for whatever he did, is wrong and unfair. God is not unjust,” he said. Gumi recently caused a stir when he claimed Sheikh Ibraheem El-Zakzaky, the leader of the Islamic Movement in Nigeria of running a parallel government in the North for 40 years. https://www.naij.com/756174-sheikh-gumi-blames-buhari-economic-problem-issues-warning.html |
my problem with this administration is their lack of readiness to rule and more annoying is their inability to carry the populace along why would a president announce his plans only when he's abroad making unguarded statements ![]() |

Mcbussy:can't believe you actually types these expected better than this from someone of your calibre but its unfortunate that you are also one of the 'illiterate' electorates in this country (no offence pls) if a general retired who fought in a civil war could open his mouth to affirm something he's not sure of just to get votes, is that not more pathetic than expected? you expect a general of his pedigree to talk with more sense and precise military intelligence when it comes to insurgency but what we had was a general turned politician who lied to us just to get into aso rock which had eluded him for years. its quite unfortunate that you could easily be described and more unfortunate that you are still being deceived! so if Obama, Putin and the rest could not stop insurgency according to you, it means they lied about their campaign promises? no one is saying insurgency can be stopped but can be reduced but our president promised during his campaign to STOP and put an end to insurgency! pls its high time we educate our electorate to wise up and demand fulfilment of every single campaign promises made by our politicians and my man, stop supporting mediocrity its not good for your health ![]() |
Mcbussy:so what you saying is that the guy that promised to end insurgency within 3 months if assuming office was stoopid to say so? or we that demand he keeps to his word are stoopid? my friend stop being a stooge demand that our politicians keep to their promises and stop deceiving people like you |
Another way of saying we cannot meet up with the deadline we set by ourselves again ![]() |

I think PMB is overwhelmed by the multiplicity and complexity of Nigeria's problems that the guy is lost, short of ideas and practically chasing shadows PMB cannot come to terms with the vast difference between when he left as military head of state and now that he's Mr President furthermore age is not helping him ![]() |
This thread is strictly to jolt to life members of the Nigerian public to their responsibilities and the power they hold as members of any political party they choose. I have been following rather actions and reactions of party followers in the Nigeria polity for some time now. its with a sense of regret and sadness that I came to terms with the level of gullibility the party followers display just to express their unflinching support for their political parties. the players in the polity mainly politicians and followers seem to have been narrowed down to the politicians with the followers used as tools instead of being partners in determining key decisions in the parties. prevalent spread of poverty, illiteracy and greed has dethroned the followers or supporters from the chair of decision making to puns which can be easily discarded after use. many supporters are mere figure heads who are comfortable shouting slogans they have no understanding of and fighting on behalf of a politician who has no plan to improve the supporters or their community as a whole. party supporters must learn to hold their politicians accountable instead of shielding them from every criticism by allowing them prove every word they utter during the campaign periods. its high time the supporters started allowing reasoning dictate their actions and reactions. politics is a tactical game where all the elements struggle to dominate the others but here in Nigeria we allow the politicians whom we owe dictate and dominate us. |

OK I hear you bro which means Messi will play in the place of 5 players cuz Wenger will make sure Messi gives value for that moneythat's when you will see arsenal line up 7 players instead of 11 ![]() |
why is this country like this? you arrested a kingpin and all you have to show us are abandoned items in the bush? has the military been politicised too? very annoying set of people!!! |
APC is more mentally unprepared for the victory they illegally got cuz PMB was more shocked when he was congratulated than GEJ who knew he lost. Every move by this government confirms that their opposition mentality is still predominant in their thoughts with fight at every step of the way, show of shame in the NASS and the eventual selection of "noise makers" as ministers whom PMB termed "saints" ridiculing himself and the party before committee of nations. TSA scandal at the early stage of this new administration within 2 months of TSA some people had made 22bill from doing nothing. APC = PDP |

its very unfortunate that we have leaders, past and present, that are clueless senseless greedy and visionless. when the leadership fails to deal wisely, the followership is bound to run wild. this problem is not PMBs but the totality of all that has ever led this nation. our priorities are wrong, our choices are self centered. people dying as a result of bomb explosion is no longer any worry to the government of the day, meanwhile these are the people that defied sun and rain to vote these scumbags into power. people die like chickens and nobody gives a fvck ![]() |
I smell serious trouble in rivers state cuz we all know all elections were rigged only that some were more rigged than others. seem APC is planning to unsettle that place so as to make it a stronghold for the party. why did the tribunals come down so hard so soon sacking 20 out of 31 with the governor, please this is purely PDP in APC clothing. we are still running the same system left behind by PDP, only the nomenclature changed ![]() |
nice one Alex wish you the best |
