brightmon: The trip was long and stressfull to me because am with a child and infant but if i were travelling alone then it wuld have been sweet.
Anyway, i flew Emirates and it cost abt 230k for an adult to Califonia but the price WILL vary depending on the airline and destination. i got to the airport abt 9am for a flight of 2:45pm and i was glad i did, i was the 1st on the line for check in, am not too sure but i think checking in started abt 9:30am or 10am. my check in was smooth but una know na, 9ja with begging and i have to wet ground but dint spend much sha just abt 2k.
After the check in i then took my time to look for were i will eat mama put for the last time because i may not get that taste for a long time to come. they called for boarding and those with infant, childern, senior boys and girls and business or first class were allowed to board 1st. we got to dubai, spent about 7hrs and boarded for Califonia and on landing i went straight to the immigrant line or section and againm i was the first on the line, we got processed and within about 40min they were done.
my passport was stamped and America here i am.
God bless this Country for giving my family a chance to leave a better life and for my children. I remain loyal and for ever indebtedness to her.

Asked weda I was married.. And weda I have kids.. And dt was all...
My uni cert had error on my name bt I took an offical leta from my sch 2back it up wch also ad issue by referrin 2my 2nd name as my 1st name and dy didn't even ask me abt it@al....
As long as u av ur 2nd NL&u r a graduate and even if u r nt a graduate, hed WaEc is d minimum.. And u av d exact papers 4d educational qualification u filled in ur form.. No jst worry ur heda unneccessarily.. D visa is urs 2take ....

You can book Lagos to New York and from New York, you can get a bus to Delaware which could take you about 5 hrs 32 mins by road or 23 mins by air.

AND moreover he is a sales boy with 9 credit in neco 2007 and he is 27 now. hope he is qualified?

It takes at least 8 weeks(minimum) for KCC to process every forms before sending the 2nd NL.
Since January still covers 10,000, he should look forward to Dec for his 2nd NL and Jan/Feb for the interview. With 9 credits, he's good to go. I stand to be corrected though.

You should be okay with the marriage cert. Why?? I'm a Baptist, and all marriage certs that are issued in any Baptist church (affiliated to the Nigerian Baptist Convention) in Nigeria is presentable at the Embassy and anywhere. It is issued by the Local Govts to the churches.
You can also find out from your RCCG pastors. But I'm sure it is acceptable at the embassy.
