phatzyka: @ Leripa how is life in New Jersey? Hope things are not very expensive there?Life has been good here bro. All I can say is that everything has to do with your lifestyle. There is a saying that "cut your coat according to your size". The truth is, there is affordability. |
gokman4u: Yes Bro,Garden state is d choice destination.God has been good to my family since we got here and I must tell you that it's beautiful here. Check my profile for my contact or you PM me. You're welcome bro. |
Freshie: To God be the glory! It's feels so good to finally be here in the US.. My baby, wife and I landed in ATL on Friday 2pm EST, journey was smooth. Many thanks to everyone who has assisted in one way or another. God bless us all!Welcome to the land of opportunities. |
I can see that more people are coming to New Jersey this time. You all are welcome to the Garden State. I wish you a peaceful and fruitful stay in Jesus name. |
phatzyka: @Gokman what part of New Jersey are you travelling to? I would be travelling to Mansfield village, hacketts town but that will be Next Year.Hackettstown, Warren county. The home of Mars Chocolates. |
@TCPonly: You'll need to hit the road earlier than 5:00am. Lagos traffic can be breathtaking sometimes. I will suggest you leave Sango as early as 4:00am and you'll get to the embassy on time. Hope this helps. |
Asorock 1: Thanks , it's an open forum, you can say whatever you wish.^^^ bros, take it easy now. |

Hello forumites, This is @Leripa reporting live and direct from New Jersey. Our flight from Lagos via Dubai to New York was a smooth and a fun-filled one. We departed Lagos on 25th Sept., via Emirates, had a few minutes stop over in Dubai and finally left for New York. It was a smooth experience especially with the feelings that you are travelling on an A380-800 airbus....lolz So far so good, it's been nice and cool since we got here. I have been busy with settling down completely and some other stuffs and i must say that the experience has been very good and stress-free. However, America is truly a land of opportunities if you have access to the right information at the right time and you are with the right people. It is my prayer that it shall be well with us all and we'll never regret our sojourn here in the name of Jesus. My sincere appreciation goes to people like adesojiaderemi, temmytanny, jidex001(my man), daddykelly, gunners, jidedon@yahoo, roodboy, amedino, edimop and a host of others for your support morally and in prayers. May the almighty be with you all. |

rcha: Have won the lottery and my case number is 35*** and waiting for my 2NL letter. Now the problem is I want to leave my current job and I have sent my KCC forms stating my job at this company. Does it make any difference if I leave my current job before I receive my 2NL and be a freelancer.Quiting one job for another can not be a factor for a visa denial. All you need do is to explain to CO if asked. You can also go to the interview with the appointment letters from both jobs. Change is constant, don't forget. |
Dainy1: Thanks. but do u know when it will be late? as in the last date to send the form to kcc?Why do you want to wait till the last minute? |
okeymen: Guys, you make me laugh. Had something like this happened in my office, we would call it an email battle. But what is the use of the argument when Visaofficer is still around and can speak for himself? Maybe he was missing something at the time of writing because that table of allocated visas was published much earlier and was in the wiki article (and was the basis of the prediction at the time) that said Nigeria would likely be ineligible for DV 2015. Visaofficer is a man like any of us (except that he is a lot nicer and more open than a lot of us) and not a God. If he was wrong, or if something has changed, I believe he will admit it or fill us in when he comes online again. You remember when he thought that it wasn't possible to check results without one's confirmation number? That's the whole essence of a forum like this...learning. we are learning from him as much as he (and i hope a lot of his colleagues) is learning from us. and by the way, he has never asked anyone to take his word as a bible fact. its just advice he gives mostly professional and sometimes personal or a mixture of both. It is not for us to crucify him for giving advice otherwise, go do your own thing.Nice one. |
alutaa: For those in Houston, there are a lot of Nigerian professional (non medical field) that offers training in various areas. Try and talk to people in the local community and the good one among them will point you in the right direction.Nice one. |

Do your best by making sure that your documents are accurate and genuine. Be confident and express yourself eloquently during the interview. Lastly, leave the rest for God. It is well. |

They may even decide to visit your address for confirmation. 4. If you have a copy of your wedding video, it could also be helpful. 5. Put the whole situation in the hands of God in prayers. Good luck. |
thuyahky: @visaofficer in the dsp form there's one question that says where do you intend to say i wrote not decided yet but now have seen a person that want to accommodate and the person have sent his address to me so what can i do nwUpdate your status/case by filling a dsp form for the address and send it to KCC via email. KCCdv@state.gov Don't forget to quote your case number, year of birth and your full names in the correspondence. Subject: status update/case number. Good luck. |
hituneu: Thee man at window 15 beware of him cos he loves finding faults, pls how much is the flight ticket from lagos to boston (2 persons)and how old pregancy can fly?My candid advice: Make use of google and search for airlines that operates the route of your choice and copy their contacts. Give them a call and discuss your situation with them. On the pregnancy, it depends on the stage it is. I know you'll be asked to provide a Doctor's report stating that you are fit to fly, but first discuss with the airline staff. Best of luck! |
im starved
I'm getting prepared to 'serve' you! |
@Izzy and @just god: Congratulations to you guys. Yes, it can ONLY be God. |
