We sell beans and maize to you kenyans.Our high end products goes to SADC and EU.We don't deal with poor people of central Africa.Those dusty areas are a no go for us.

Our exports to SADC are like, cement,gold,tanzanite,tiles,paints,cables,processed foodstuffs like juices etc

Best of my knowledge; it is not; it mostly upgrading the old colonial style estates like Jericho,Maringo, Park road into high rises. Slum upgrading is not part of it.The solution for slums is to give the structure holders title deed.

The private component - I think where they will be given free land - gok has acquired I think 5000 acre or more from Portland cement - for KSHS 15b - and that is the land private sector will be given - with understanding they will sell the houses cheaply on completion - less than 3M kshs.

Kenya is safe for tourists,says EU. I know some countries that would be hit by travel advisories in case of an attack!

“Terrorism is a global problem and even nations in the EU have been targeted. Kenyan security forces responded very well and proved their capability in handling terror attacks. We are confident that the country is safe,” said Mr Tretton.

He in turn lauded Kenya for not issuing advisories against European nations that were attacked in previous years.

We do travel mostly using Kenya airways but we are still struggling in travelling by boats trying to seek assylum in Europe. We have a vibrant diaspora community!
