I like Funke, no doubt. But her comments have shown that she's not anything near a politician. Her 20m social media followership have their political interests to pursue.
Can somebody tell her that CELEbrities are YEYEbrities when it comes to real politics in Nigeria!
Let homosexuals be! The fact that our sexual preferences are different from yours doesn't make us criminals. We're humans like you, and have the right to live a normal life. Criminalizing us is cruel!
swiz123: Unfortunately, your friend is among the damned.
One thing I hate about gays is their parasitic nature. They always seek for whom to convert into gayism.
Purge your beloved country of this parasite by handing him over to sars.
God bless you son
For those demoralized bastards telling the op to leave him be cos it's his nature, who told you that gayism comes natural to everyone. Some of them are normal people whose sexual orientation changed due to some situations. Some a victim of boarding school, some in prisons and some dubious ones are ritualists.
I have seen all, I have waylaid some.
Gayism should be outlawed and seriously frowned at by any moral conscious person.
Let's us join hands together and purge the world of these parasites
May I humbly request that you let gays be! It is entirely your choice to be whatever you want to be. So it is with gays.
Aside, what do u know of genetic and physiological design of humans? For your information, mother nature decided to create some people in some special ways. The LGBTQ community, where I BELONG! should be left alone to be who nature wants them to be. And members of this community who admire and chose to follow this sexual lifestyle should be applauded for their courage to be who they want to be! #letmebeme #istandwithgays
Daddy Freeze is an OAP that I respect a lot, but I must say that I am very disappointed at his reaction to a very simple, respectful and sincere question asking if he's gay. The answer ought to be a YES or a NO! He shouldn't have insulted the cool guy that asked him that question.
Flinchy001: Sex acts between men are illegal under the Criminal Code that applies to southern Nigeria and carry a maximum penalty of 14 years' imprisonment.
Handsomecole: His arrest is a welcome development left for me alone I would advice death sentence for all homosexuals . #DoNotFreeBoborisky
I try as much as possible to be civil when commenting on gay issues on social media, but your comment has compelled me to tag you as VERY EVIL! #istandwithgay, #letmebeme
Last night, Nigerian male barbie, Bobrisky got arrested. The circumstances surrounding his arrest still remains unclear but sources say he was picked up by operatives of the Nigeria Police Force Criminal Investigation and Intelligence Department (FCIID); the highest investigating arm of the Nigeria Police.
At the moment, the hashtag #FreeBobrisky is trending on social media. Here's what Nigerians are saying about the situation.
Wait is this for Real #FreeBobrisky I'm not understanding pic.twitter.com/edWm3N2F4E — SuperStar Blogger? (@iam_princevee) November 8, 2017

Bobrisky arrested and jaccooorb goes hungry,I'm doing this for young man who's with me ?#FreeBobrisky — HomieSlam (@HomieSlam) November 8, 2017
Exactly what we have been saying! You see why most of us are afraid to come out openly to declare our sexual lifestyle? We live in a country where being gay or being involved in gay activities is not only criminal, but far more criminal than institutionalized corruption that is being perpetrated by the same people that are persecuting us (gay community). Now, Bobrisky has been arrested for being gay. Oh My God! What a country we live in? Why is Nigerian government criminalizing gays? Why are we perpetually subjected to living in fear as if we're less human? What's our sexual orientation and preferences got to do with the Nigerian police? The situation is really pathetic!
Nice one bro. I'm so proud of your courage to come out not minding the repressive anti gay law that is killing us in this nation. And about gays going to hell, never mind, no one is going to hell here. We will all have a happy hereafter. Amen. #istandwithgay, #letmebeme
maasoap: I get your point but just that I disagree. Many societies where heterosexual is allowed to still suffer from heterosexual rapes. So, tagging homosexual rapes to victimisation is just an excuse most especially when you are talking about kids. Homosexuality is a criminal act in Nigeria but has that stopped homosexuals from doing their things? Whether homosexual or heterosexual rape, there is no justification for it.
Yeah, you're right. And as u must have seen from my comment, I did not at any point support rape at all. What I do is to tell Nigerian government to stop criminalizing gay activities. Bisi Alimi is doing a good job. I hope we'll overcome someday!
wink2015: I do not want to conclude on this matter as it is only a competent court that can really decides the matter. But I think gay sex is becoming a problem in the world.
It is very common in Northern Nigeria and now we are hearing reports from India about gay sex between an adult teacher and a teenage student.
It is very disturbing to learn that indians with their strong religious culture are involved in gay sex.
Let us not pre-judge the matter, as we await a final verdict from the court if the matter is to be taken to the court.
Nigerians in India should be law abiding and respect their host - the good people of india
Excuse me please, may I ask why you think 'gay sex is becoming a problem in the world'? If some quarters of the world aren't persecuting gay lovers will members of this beautiful community be misbehaving? Go and carry out a research on why men rape women. You'll learn a lot about why some men indulge in such a behavior. Don't get it twisted, I'm NOT saying rape is OK! Far from it. But my position here is this: for every action, there is a corresponding reaction, and usually, every reaction in itself is an action that will still trigger another reaction at some point. And so goes the cycle.
austonclint: A Nigerian expat family has alleged their child, a student of Class 6 at a CBSE-affiliated school in Greater Noida, was being sexually assaulted by a school employee inside the premises for the last 4-5 years
The mother has alleged the child has been sodomised for the past 4-5 years. They had been noticing changes in the behaviour for a while, during which time his academic grades, which were earlier in the 90s, had also seen a steady decline," Surajpur SHO Girish Kotiya told TOI.
According to police, Mishra repeatedly assaulted the child inside the school premises, in places like the washroom.
I don't like the use of the word 'sodomised' as used in this report. Granted, rape or any other sexual assault is a serious offence/crime. But nothing is wrong with a man having sex with another man... It's a matter of orientation and choice. These fine fellows ain't bad, ABEG! #letmebeme #istandwithgays
Nothing comes easy in life. Robbery is getting more sophisticated by the day. Ironically, being gay is being treated in our country even worse than armed robbery. An extremely peaceful lifestyle is being severely criminalized... Sad... Wake up Nigeria!
I understand your tongue and body language, baba. I can guarantee you of success at the polls in 2019 if you promise a kind of sanctuary for members of LBGTQ community. We'll so support you!
'Smart' woman (that's if she truly is)! She knows Atiku will put up a fierce fight for d presidency in 2019, and she's already aligning herself with "perceived" Atiku's success at the polls (a Herculean task). I'll also support Atiku if his presidency will make life better for gays. #istandwithgays... #letmebeme...
You see, this is what I always talk about: persecution of members the LGBT community because of their sexual orientation. My opinion is that this my gay friend may have been pushed from that floor by some of these so called wicked and devilish 'straight' guys, or he purposely jumped off in an attempt to save himself from being lynched... If gay activities were legal, I'm certain life would have been good for everyone, and some fine individuals wouldn't live their lives in perpetual fear. I've been there. I know what it means and how it feels. ... #istandwithgay; #letmebeme
I am not happy that this obvious gay guy raped a minor, even unto death! This is extremely sad. I condemn this act in every strong possible term. I am not in anyway condoning him, but I feel this is as a result of Nigeria's anti gay law. If homosexuality isn't a crime in Nigeria, someone like this man would have been confident and bold enough to look for a guy like him to make love to... Again, what he did remains extremely bad. The way out from all this mess is for government to cancel this barbaric and uncivilized anti gay law... #istandwithgays
Homosexuality is peaceful. Tell me which is better: two men holding guns and exercise hate by killing people, or two men holding hands and and exercise love by loving each other? Stop condemning homosexuals. They have right to love whoever they choose to love.
I'm glad that MI is bold enough to speak up against our barbaric anti gay law. Many members of LGBT community (where I used to belong) have been jailed nationwide. Many of us are living in constant fear. This is not how we want to live. We want to be happy like every one else!
