cybermaven: Reduce your screen brightness. That helps me a lot. Don't put it on Auto. Just go to settings and scroll down to the left.
True about the MTN ish. Was supposed yo send an urgent mail last night and they nearly put me in trouble. But I think it's better now.

cybermaven: hmmm...when I went they told me I'll have to leave it there. didn't want to and was worried it'll get more problems.
I leave power in my PC's USB port overnight about 1am to 7 am. that charge takes me through the day. always on HSDPA sha. but data isn't always on.
I use it to read, browse and then I play that Asphalt game on the way home (BTW, you guys have made me addicted to the game ). There's no abnormal heat.

I wish I could say the same about my battery,its at 11% as I post now,I had to switch to 3g a couple of times though,mtn service is kinda poor these few days.

Close to an hour difference. Am testing it on 2G at present to see how long the battery would last.

Sorry,i didn't notice any difference except that the time it takes to charge the battery seems to have reduced a bit,it still gets hot but hasn't asked for a battery pull since ,plus I lost all my apps,thats the annoying part.
Twas just a waste of time.

I bought an infinix x450 popularly called a race bolt a week ago to compliment my HTC desire HD. The phone was sold for 25500. So far I have had no issues with this phone. The specification is below.

The battery is good. Even with 3g conection on, it last about 30hours with moderate use. I.e moderate browsing, game and music . with heavy use say from 8 till 5pm. The battery would have dropped to bout 12% by 4 - 5pm and that 12%. The 12% could last an additional one hour or more with heavy use!

The phone is fast(with no lags), amazing for games and videos. It has rich contrast and colour, I am not suprised here, might be a result of the 540 x 960 screen resolution. It even comes loaded with a trimmed version of asphalt 6 and shark attack . it comes with flash player and youtube app as well. The Browsing experience is great. Browsing is fast both on phone and when tethered with laptop. Its very easy to connect contacts despite the phone being dual sim.it performed well above my expectation.

I've had the race bolt for over a week now and i've not had any issues with it... smartphones are meant to heat up while running several apps and running on 3G.... Guess you should go back to the store where you got it from and ask for a change of device..... I've used other Android phones and believe me.. the infinix Race Bolt is way better than they are... Even my friend that owns an iPhone confesses to how smooth my Infinix Race bolt is....

I beg to disagree,before now,I have flexed a tecno n3 and SG2,non ever asked me to remove my battery cos of over heating.I game n browse for hours on both,s y is the race bolt different? It is smooth yes,bt y the heat?

Was asked to come back today which I did after calling them and they assured me that my issue had been resolved only to get there and find out it had not wif dem giving me a flimsy excuse of the bolt getting hot normally,gave it back to them n was asked to come back on Friday,will keep ya updated.

.....and they couldn't resolve my issue so am back to my berry.

23jerryking: Guys please don't vex here coz am really disturbin but that's because I've not gotten solution to my phone's wifi and data error turning on. Now am using my n3 only as a music box because it has refused to browse on mobile data and the wifi would give me error message instead of turning on, I've posted this several times here and no geniune guide of what I should do next. Please guys am really crying for help, the phone is no more rooted coz I did factory reset and so I cant root it again bcoz no internet. Please people in the house..just tell me a step by step guide of what to do to get my phone to browse again please guys dnt be offended that am posting so much about this. God bless

take your fone to carlcare. it should still be under warranty and free.

Presently in carlcare wif my fone,I hope they attend to me cos its Rooted.
