OMAR BANGURA from Sierra Leone has this
to tell Nigerians; "I don't think you guys
know what you are playing with. You can
call each other names and laugh about it
now but when you end up inciting hate
here as I read through your posts here and
a real civil war start in your country you
will regret what you are doing now. Your
religious and political leaders are trying to
divide you between religious lines and you
are helping them do that rather than
standing up and say we are all Nigerians
never mind our tribe, region or religion.
That's the only stand that will save your
blessed nation. The foreign powers
pushing the government to take certain
decisions will abandon you when you start
killing each other and reject you from
running to their countries so be careful.
Our 11 years war in Sierra Leone was not
even based on religious or tribal difference
and see what we did to our country. The
worst conflicts are those based on tribal
and religious differences. See central
Africa,Bosnia. My heart bleeds when I read
what you guys are saying becouse I know
what this will lead to. You will be
the loosers all of you whether Christian,
Muslim, ibo, yoruba or hausa stand as one
and save your nation together becouse you
have only one Nigerian that has the
potential to lead Africa"........... Omar Bangura of Serria Leone

Nigerians we have lost our sense of reasoning totaly. Why do we have to support crime in the first instance. be it from the north, south, east or west. . . crime is crime anyday anywhere anyhow. We are all supporting disintegration now which can never come in a peacefull way as we all know. The most annoying thing is that, those that we are looking up to at the top as our brother will not stay in the country when it happens because they have enough resources to JET out of the country when the battle field becomes unbearable for them while leaving me and u with out slim destiny. why not let us forget about the past, put away our religous and ethnic differences and fight curruption/violence/injustice/descrimation/terrorism. a yoruba adage sayz: ''eni ti won ba fo agbon ni ori re ko kin duro je agbon na'' meaning '' somebody whose head was used to break coconut will never wait to eat out of it''

Wise up Nigerians.

Mayflowa: Let's stop and think. I do not know what you all want Government to do. I, for one, was not even aware of Yekini's case. I guess millions of Nigerians were not even aware! Nigerians are known to have good hearts when it comes to helping hand especially for the renowned. How do you want government to help when they are not briefed. Do you think government goes about looking for people to help? That is not the business of government abeg!

As popular as Nairaland, did any member post about his sufferings and mental case?

Besides, not that I lack consideration, Yekini wasn't suppose to go bust with proper investment because he was paid for his service and got recognised by the globe and was bought into world class club with good remuneration! Why is Eguavoen, Amunike, Ike Ikechukwu not broke? He was just unfortunate and probably do not know how to make and handle money with his good name!

I would tolerate all these insults if we were talking about NYSC corps, bombed victims,War torned forces and disable policemen. These are people that are dying everyday for their father's land and whose children are left to soak garri and roam the street with no help!
Opoki: Very ery Objective...

Family / Re: Five Year Old Boy Opts To Become A Girl by lexicon(m): 8:39am On Feb 23, 2012
tiarabubu:

I think is just a phase in life this boy is passing through. the parents are extending the phase by their confusion and reinforcing this gender delusion position on the poor boy. The boy is just too young to fully understand what he is going through more so take a firm view about it. I hope the parents don't start tinkering with his anatomy "to help him". that would be a disaster

cast your minds back to way in the days when u were a kid. there were tomboys. and there were sissies. They quickly out grow it.

if the parents really want to help their kid, they should tell him he popped out as a boy, be a boy till he reaches 18, only then he can decide to slice off his Willy and dress as a girl.

when I was kid I always wished I was a boy cos I admired the more energetic games they played and often joined in, and modified my name to sound male. I despised girl groups as being softies. at aged 10 I ditched them to be the beautiful chic that I am *winks*

I love this part.
