Well, they are not protesting in school or complaining to their school administration...they are protesting via the media. The university just released the school fees for the next session and some of the students feel its outrageous.

See it below...1) Accounting- N1.5million 2) Nursing- N1million 3) Law- N2million 4) Medicine- N3million 5) Others- N860,000

The students are scared to protest in their school because they could get suspended. Babcock is a Christian University and claims to be a non-profit organization, so students don't understand why they have to pay such huge amounts to school there.

Well we cabt really question their choice of increament . Well to new comers , note that there are lots of other options . If the fees ai much for you then move to a federal school, state school or less expensive private school

To be sincere , the exhoborant fee is too outrgeous especially in an economy like Nigeria. Imagine you pay 3million naira to become a Doctor and Medicine lasts for 6-7 years , which all totals to 21 million naira. Then you eventually get a job that pays less than 300,000 naira . Thats too weak..

So the students there dont have a choice , they either take it or leave the school.

Residents of Wole Madariola Street, Aguda, Surulere, Lagos have been asking questions about what pushed Chidike Oyeka, a graduate of Madonna University, Anambra, to stab himself repeatedly thereby taking his own life.
PUNCH Metro learnt that the Chidike on April 19, 2013, took a kitchen knife and stabbed himself repeatedly until his intestines were disembowelled.

Our correspondent, who visited his parents’ home where the incident occurred, learnt that the victim recently concluded his National Youth Service Corps programme.

A relative, who wished to remain anonymous, said the 25-year-old had been depressed for some time.

She said, “He did his NYSC in Delta State and only returned in February. Upon returning, he started to act strangely and we noticed that he was no longer sociable. Most times he would sit at a corner by himself and when we asked him what was wrong, he would say he was not happy

Today Thursday April 18, 2013 the president , Goodluck jonathan would be visiting Lags for the ACN party convention. The ACN, in a letter signed by it’s National Publicity Secretary – Lai Mohammed, said it’s National convention will also hold on the same day at Onikan stadium in Lagos.It complained that the visit of the President may lead to the closure of key roads in the city,therefore hindering its members coming from across the country to gain access to the venue of the convention.

The ACN however, urged Governor Fashola to use his good office to prevail on President Jonathan to reschedule his visit to Lagos, insisting that the attendant disruption of traffic may lead to frustration for Lagosians.

So you can imagine the catastrophe – Mainland , Onikan Stadium and Victoria island …

My previous post how would I describe my style, helps us find the path in the journey of creating your style. My personal style is simple; I control what affects my style which means I am not blindly following trends but instead I follow what inspires me and suits my personality.

Today’s post is meant for individuals who are longing to belong in other words those who strive to look like celebrities because you don’t have to anymore and most importantly for those interested in personal style.

This is the season of personal style “do your thing”; “there are no rules”. Permit me to share some points below; that I feel will help us achieve that great style.

Figure out what inspires you, for example art, fabrics, culture etc.
Make a list of clothing items in your wardrobe that make you feel good about yourself.
Combine trends from the past, present and future. This helps to show your innovative and creative skills.
Buy items that suits you (i.e. size and shape) and what you are comfortable wearing not what seems to be in trend.
Choose the right accessories that give you confidence and a smile for e.g. shoes, bags, bracelets, sunglasses etc.
Style is not perfect, leave room for errors lol.
I hope these few points help most of us and if you have any additions please add your comments. Let me also point out that a Great Style isn’t achieved overnight; it’s a journey that discovers the real YOU.

Hello EB readers , today post on relationships is concerning habits that we portray during dates. This habits could either make or break progress of relationships. Today we concentrating on those habits that break or destroy the progress of proposed relationships. There are annoying habits that we show off during dates.

Lets assume you have just been introduced to a hot chick or a cut charming guy that you've been dying to meet or maybe you saw her walking down the road and asked for her number, either ways, both of you are on a date now and you are ruining it with your actions.

Below are a few habits that both Guys and ladies are guilty of which then makes a first date the last one . Too bad


Firstly Fiddling with your phone , like seriously why would you do that ? OK fine you have 10 thousand followers on twitter and instagram is always flooded , even you have 200 unattended pings on your bbm and so what ? doing this would make the person you an on a date with feel less important and make him /her look silly .The more you pay more attention to your phone the more you make him more uncomfortable . It is better to decline the request for the date than to go there and attend dedicate your entire time to your phone.



Secondly , some people talk too much that they don't even allow the other party express him/her opinion. Ahan , are you a parrot ? radio without battery ? .You are not allowed to talk all by yourself when you have a date. its just common sense , so apply it . Do not bore the other party and make him/her the unwilling audience .Yes they want to know you but you don't have to tell him/her the story of your life . The purpose of the date is to learn more about each other not to narrate your biography. its not an open mic session.



Thirdly , when you start looking around the room , scanning everywhere as if you are looking for something. If you don't like the environment let your partner know instead of making him uncomfortable.



Fourthly, over-sabi/ over-do .For instance you both get to your place of choice for the date and he asks you to make an order of a meal , you do not have to make yourself look silly by ordering something you do not know how to eat or even haven't seen before. it could upset your stomach and you know the end result is never okay



Fifthly , Be yourself . You don't have to impress anyone .Dont go out of your way to impress the other party , if he/she isn't satisfied with your true self then Good riddance .!

These days people fall in and out of love with the wrong person .Do you often wonder if you picked the wrong partner? You were SO in love, and now you just can’t get what you need from them.

People often ask the question especially the ladies- ‘’ why do the wrong people get attracted so much to me,the way insects cling to sugar?…’’ ..or why am I always so unlucky with relationships?

Being in a relationship with the wrong person is time wasting , energy exhausting and emotionally draining because only one person puts his / her heart , time , and energy. it is not mutual. it is like embarking on a never-ending journey .
The wrong partner :

will cheat on you,
lie to You,
use You,
he/she hardly calls,texts…you do all the calling all the time,
He/she can’t boldly introduce to his/her friends or relatives.
He is abusive,physically,verbally, emotionally ..even sexually.
He/she treats you like ‘’ trash’’ publicly.


Sometimes ,you often wonder what you are still doing in such a relationship,you really want to come out of it,but you don’t know how to come out of it but It takes a determined mind to come out of that trap you are in .

The question i ask myself most times is - why do people often stay in these kind of relationship? why do they keep on bearing this pain all in the name of "LOVE" ? The answer is that most individuals can’t just stand being alone,or they can’t boldly say ‘’ I am still single,am not in a relationship’’.You just can’t say NO to the advances from a guy or lady. Some feel being single is a disease .
It is because of this ‘’hunger’ or ‘’rush’ for a partner that makes people to grab anybody that wants to date them even if there is a "WRONG PERSON" tag on his/her head .You always want to brag in the midst of your friends that am dating Mr S,Miss K…even when you know the relationship is going nowhere, IF YOU LIE TO THE WHOLE WORLD,MUST YOU LIE TO YOURSELF!!!!!!!



So many people find themselves in this situation because they look for the wrong qualities in a partner,so many people place so much priorities on Material things like - good looks, power , cash loaded etc. I am not saying all these are bad factors but they should not take the position of important priorities when it comes to your relationships . They can be the perfect side attractions though. There is more to a person that than blue eyes,pink lips,cute smile,working in a big company,having a fleet of car etc.
The most important quality to look out for in a partner is –Personality. Personality encompasses a lot of what makes a person.Everyone will grow old physically,but a great personality will remain unchanged with age.

Remember to chose a partner not only with your eyes but with your intelligence. Pick someone who makes sense for who you are today. That is the key.



In addition,some people continue dating the wrong person thinking they can change the person. Hmm , if you are someone with this mentality you are wasting your time . No man has the ability to change another person ,only God can work in a man’s life,heart and completely change the person.Though ,God can use a man,but you can take a horse to the stream,but you can’t force it to drink water.So many people have wasted several years in a fruitless relationship thinking they can change their partners. So if you know there are some qualities in your partner you cant stand and this your partner doesn't want to improve then please move on o!!!

Moreover,I believe the root of this problem is simply ‘’ lack of self love’’.IF you love yourself,know your worth and know that you deserve better , You wouldn't date or continue dating someone that tosses you around and treats you anyhow like crap . Love makes the world go round, but it all begins with you. If you want others to treat you well, treat yourself well first. If you seek love from another, fall in love with yourself first.



The truth is that as long as we live, before you meet that ‘special one’,you will always get advances or meet the wrong person.I feel we should try to reach a level of maturity such that we choose who we give our hearts to or fall in love with,stop using your hearts for experiments.By doing so,we will save ourselves a lot of heart breaks and headache.
It’s beautiful and good to fall or be in love,but it’s best to fall or be in love with the “right person”.

Ok. This is such a sad news. As. 30-year old Lil wayne , one of the best rappers of all time reveals that he is Eplipeltic which shows reasons for his recent seizures. But the seizures occur when he doesn’t have enough rest and overworks himself.

Before now different Speculations have been wagging tails and the most popular was that he used sizzurps.

Below in his words.

“The bad news is I’m epileptic so I’m prone to seizures,” Wayne explained. “This isn’t my first, second, third, fourth, fifth, sixth or seventh seizure. I’ve had a bunch of seizures. Y’all just never hear about them. But this time, it got real bad because I had three of them in a row. With the third one, my heart rate went down to like 30 percent. The reason being for the seizures is just plain stress, no rest and overworking myself.”

“I have people around me. I’ve actually had [seizures] so much, they already know what to do. They already expect it. They already know how to handle it. Certain times I don’t even go to the hospital but this time it was real bad because, like I said, it was three in a row. I’ve never had three back-to-back like that and the third one was so bad.”

Today there have been different messages and broadcast concerning his getting married in Dubia. Well it went loud today that even celebrities got the broadcast on blackberry and i am quite sure our Newlywed Tuface got the message . Below is his reply:

"I think there is this spiritual connection. We thought of a perfect place for the white wedding and the idea of Dubai came up. I don’t know about crowd control. We just want to have the best of the moment and make sure things go rightly. There is nothing more to it. It does not have to do with controlling the people or anything.

The fact is that you can’t run away from the people. Anywhere you go, you will meet people and these people have come to celebrate with us. Let’s just say that we love Dubai and we also discovered that it was a perfect venue for us. " Tuface Idibia told Glitz in a recent interview.

Actually from my perspective , i don't think his choice of venue and location was a bad idea but he has stepped on toes which makes it understanding and a good reason to be away from Nigeria not to spark up some heat cos according to sources, his baby mama's were absent. Family isn't everything after all… The popular HKN Gang, the record label which hosts star, DAVIDO and cousins have been bitten by the Breakup Bug that has stung the entertainment industry lately. The ongoing crisis might lead to the loss of two of it’s popular acts B Red and Sinarambo. pop star David ‘Davido‘ Adeleke might part ways with his pop singing cousins and label mates, Bayo ‘B Red‘ Adeleke and Sina ‘Sinarambo‘ Adeleke.
A nasty fight occured between Davido vs Sina and B-red in Atlanta. According to them, the reason for the family Quarrel stemmed from the fact that Sina Rambo and B-Red believe that Davido is doing little to promote their works and intentionally releasing singles and music videos to overshadow their own singles.

The cousins had accused Davido of not doing much for their careers as much as he should after they chose him as the label’s front line act. They also accused him of not giving them a chance to fully promote their new singles only to overshadow them at any given chance.”- THE NET.

The fight between the cousins was physical which led to properties being damaged in their Atlanta home. Davido left his cousins in Atlanta to perform alongside American rapper Nas in Houston. The Real Madrid star decided to show off a new look as he received the Trofeo Di Stéfano for 2011-12 – Marca’s annual prize for the best player in La Liga.
His new hairdo with his wet-look locks and bizarre shaved stripe along one side of his head which had at least three different styles going on.

The sides had been shaved, while on top he had wet-look spikes, which is a look favoured by popstars from the nineties.

But the final and strangest touch was the short stripe shaved into just one side of his hair. .

medube: I dropped my wife off at camp today and she is 21wks pregnant. Though she has finished registration, nobody has said anything to her or other pregnant women. They are hoping to get decamp permits after the swearing in on thursday. Is that usually the case?

Seriously !!!! Vaginal Reconstruction . i was amazed when i saw that post and i just had to bring it to the notice of my readers.

I’m still surprised about this occurrence. But its true.
Syndik8 member and Pepsi ambassador Lynxxx might have just landed himself in soup due to his recent exploits on the night scene. He was at N-tyce night club; a new club in Victoria Island partying with the rest of his crew last Friday. Himself, Ikechukwu’s brother Uzzi, SDC, Uti Nwachukwu, Banky W, Timi Dakolo and a host of other musicians were at the club when a scuffle broke out. Security at the club quickly pushed out the people that started the fight, and at the centre of it was Lynxxx who said a certain Richard a.k.a Pope slapped his cousin.

The manager of the night club pleaded with Lynxxx and his syndicate crew who numbered about 30 to make peace but they insisted that Richard must be brought out of the club. Banky W who was not involved in the fight also pleaded with him but it all fell on deaf ears. After about 1 hour, Lynxxx and his gang rushed into the club and started fighting. He broke a bottle and stabbed Richard while also injuring and cutting himself by mistake. The whole club turned upside down as guests scampered out for safety. A lot of drinks and equipment worth millions were damaged.

The victim; Richard a.k.a Pope who is a UK based entrepreneur has since reported the case to the police and hired Festus Keyamu as his Lawyer to prosecute him. Lynxxx whose father is a multi-millionaire has bragged that nothing will happen and even said he will do it again if given the chance.

Pepsi who endorsed him as their ambassador haven’t issued any statement. All calls to Lynxxx and his camp haven’t been answered
