Linasbeauty:
Good morning, everyone
Please advise

Our AOR was September 19, 2024
Medicals passed: December 5, 2024
Our biometrics have also been done
We got a pre-arrival services letter on February 3, 2025.
We finally got our FD and tracker updated with CoPr details on May 8, 2025.
No PPR/RFV mail yet, and it's now almost four weeks since then.
It's been more than 8 months now in total.

Any other person with the same experience?
Please advise.
Thank you.
Let me congratulate you in advance for the official official PR grin

I got FD and updated CoPR details on May 8 or 9, 2025 too and I already got my eCOPR since June 26, just waiting for my PR card to arrive. Though I applied from inside Canada. Just go and book your flight for December period, and do thanksgiving grin

Hello people, please help

My cousin has a Bsc in Business Administration and works has a Farm Manager with over 3 years experience. What course/certificate program can you recommend for her to write to get additional 30 points for her education as time for Msc would be too long. BCS or CIMA or any other one, please help.

They are fake because the show is short by two/three weeks, during which period they are in lockdown receiving scripts/prompts (as I suspect); they are constantly made aware of the game; the calming effect of sponsored tasks and the need to behave well for deals in a show which should be a winner take all. Biggie's 'unnecessary table shaking by Ebuka (pandering to social media), and the easy accessibility of the game

Still on the winner take all, I imagine if there could be one other car win which they fightttt for ( as may be seen in Survivor). All sponsors could pitch in and deliver a big car (asides the prize one) for the taking. Imagine competing for just a Mercedes or Tundra or even the best Innoson car, and the prize only. People would burn down the house. You would see those who would near about kill for the money, and people for who money is not do or die; etc. (their actions and dealings would reveal this)
If all these interferences were not there, in a true setting, the fakest of housemates, the cleverest actors would not be able to act after day 22.

But, is the bolded the main grouse you have against the show this season? cheesy
Hahahaha no jor grin

This is because the essence of the show has been compromised/ is lost.
…by all the sponsored tasks, short duration (they spend the first two/three weeks in lock down), pandering to what Twitter and Facebook want instead of giving a no-holds barred personality show.

That is why the HMs cannot settle to be lost in the game (usually set by Week3), It is no longer a reality personality show as we watched with BBA, but a social media entertainment content show

The Pavlov concept is lost and as long as it is no longer a winner takes all which would really have people playing (task wins make people relax and just plot to stay and win those)

I would pay 100K, 200K or more to watch an original 90-day BB even if it was BB Ghana or even better, BBAfrica. Set away from outside and fanbase influence . MC can achieve this by having housemates vote themselves out (like is done in Survivor series)
Special subscription and they make whatever money that way and with adverts
No voting
I have always reiterated those statement of yours in bold. And as a pioneer Big Brother fan, this BBNaija is not all that even at its peak when compared to BBAfrica. The game play and maneuvers by housemates in BBAfrica should be learned by this BBNaija housemates, they dont understand this is a game that you have to strategize and weaken your competitor not someone you have beef with.

Also, one of my major highlights of BBAfrica is learning a lot about other African countries, the relationship that exist in their regions between the countries. Furthermore, there are no pity votes in BBAfrica, everybody is not voting the same way. During eviction at the live shows, Ebuka doesnt show housemates who voted them out and we dont get to see the reaction to the betrayals.

BBNaija housemates are too fake and conscious of the camera. Naija hypocrisy is on another level and its why they dont show us those romantic and sexual contents, if it were BBAfrica I am 100% sure we would have seen better videos of Zinwe sexual act.

Sup guys! Happy new year.
As you may or may not have heard, people like me are no longer allowed to watch DSTV or Showmax through our computers, and our only crime is living in the US. It doesn't even matter that the decoder in my Nigerian house in Owerri is well subbed.
Showmax and DSTV web don't like my IP no more.

Luckily, my wife found this other place online that allows us to watch it. I won't mention the name, but people dey use am livestream videogames wey dem dey play. It is purple in colour. It starts with a T. 😏

But anyway, for my fellow diasporans, una get anywhere wey una dey stream am, just in case this one cast?
Be like say Yankee people no too sabi IPTV, lols

You have 2 options, there's a twitter link owned by the person streaming via T. You pay about 30 or $35, cant remember and you have access to the live stream of BigBrother for the whole 71 days or you subscribe to IPTV where you have access to over 20K channels including Africa Magic and most DSTV channels, its about 100-120$ for 1 year subscription. I use the 2nd option here in my location because of mainly DSTV channels, Live Sport, NBA, Olympics and Live Award shows

I believe every situation is unique let me share my unique experience in the hopes that I get feedback and insight from the gurus in the house.

I am a HND holder who went to Canada in 2016 to pursue a degree in politics. The degree took longer because I had a situation called a status restoration that took almost 2 years off. I eventually had the issue restored and did 3 years worth of studies before deciding to make a program switch to psychology, I decided also to take a break from school to properly consider my options.

Around this time I received information from my student advisor about an opportunity that would allow me to transition to a work permit. I decided to take the offer but it would require me to switch to visitor status before applying for the work permit. Unfortunately the visitor visa application was approved but the work permit app was refused.

Around this time too, my passport was about to expire (I held off renewing because I was waiting for the apps). Mind you, I was fully supporting myself since I could not work. I was unable to renew the passport at the high commission in Ottawa because they were experiencing processing issues. My passport expired and IRCC recommended returning back to Nigeria and since I had a family emergency too at that time I accepted.

I was returned to Nigeria subsequently after 7 1/2 years in canada and I came back with 4
years worth of work experience (by my estimation) and 3 years of studies in a Canadian university. I tried the CRS calculator and it registered 538

Please what are my chances applying for PR. Please drop any feedback and suggestions
Did you return on your own or you were deported?

What was the reason for denial on your work permit?

The answers to these 2 questions will determine your PR case with IRCC.

Advice for stevolinkon40 and others planning to land in Toronto

I'm talking from my personal experience and what I have heard from people and concluded that Vancouver and its environs in British Columbia is best place to arrive/live. While waiting for your dream job, you can work as support or care worker and make up to 4-7K per month (which is 2k-3.5k bi-weekly) as a person if you have a car and BC class 5 driver's license. If you have 1 full time work and 1 part time, its possible, even if you have casual job with 2-4 different employers, you can earn that as long as you are able to pick enough shifts across boards. Note that this is very possible if you are coming alone or with your spouse and you dont have kids. Or if you have kids and one of you is working from home.

PS: I am Christian and believe in God factor, and i will mention again that all things being equal that you have a car and a full BC class 5 drivers license, you have a high chance of getting a care or support job and can make 4-7K per month after tax, yes after tax!!! By the time you pack those shifts in 2-3 different companies, you will be smiling on your payday grin

Hello everyone,
Please I have a family friend whose wife will be submitting her application soon.
I will like to know if they can still meet up for September intake if they submit by tomorrow?
Also they have 3 kids and she intends to go with them, will it be an issue and how do kids fare around that period in terms of weather
Lastly the man doesn’t intend to go with them but later
Omo e go hard going with 3 kids oo especially if 2 of the kids are less than 5 years because she will need to put them in day care.

No one knows how long it will take IRCC to respond, its like 6 - 8 weeks before September and we've seen cases where people get visa in 4-8 weeks. But I will suggest she defers to Jan 2023 if possible just be on the safe side.

Depends on how old you are, if you're above 24/25 years, just go for Post Graduate Diploma. The average tuition fee for Canada schools is 17K CAD per year. Goodluck

Hello everyone please I have a challenge

I graduated with a 2:2 here in Nigeria
3.05/5.0, candian universities use 4.0 so when I convert mine to a 4.0 scale I get like 2.44.
Almost all schools I've tried applying to in Canada have a general admission requirements of lowest 2.7 to 3.0.

Even though I now have a rich work experience I don't know if I should ignore their cut off and just apply

What's your Advice please
Do you think I stand a chance
What course did you study and whats your work experience like? You might be able to get masters admission with your 2:2 in Canada
