If you know the impact of playing an additional game in midweek and what it does to a team, you won’t be talking like this.

The first one we had was just last week in preseason and you were part of those moaning and complaining yesterday. We’re going to have consecutive weeks of double games in one week for months this season.

Remember how we almost won the league the last time we played in Europe? 😂 Una no dey learn walahi. Better go and petition FA to allow you to play your Hull City 38 times this season

People here acknowledged the improvement in the team performance during the previous pre-season games, and said we may need 2 or 3 new player to make the team even better. But seem the board is not ready to meet Carrick demand. I have no worries going into the new season, Carrick qualified us for CL without Santos, Tielemans and Trashford so i am looking forward to same or a better achievement next season. Carrick should sha be bold and unbiased when selecting his team on match days..

This season is not the same as last season. We have midweek European matches now. It’s a totally different ball game.

If Carrick maintains top 4 or top 5. E try gan.

This Anderson so far has looked average, but it's too early to judge. I'll assess him fully by middle of the season.

It’s not too early. He rode on hype mostly to get to City. He’s quite good, but not good enough to command the hefty transfer fee he went for.

Not really. We just didn’t show up.

If we had matched their energy early on, the game would’ve progressed differently. We’re suffering now because our laziness gave them the confidence to outplay and outscore us.

The difference isn’t even really the tactics. It’s the desire and energy.

AC Milan are faster and more into the game than we are. Our forward line are just strolling around the pitch. They can’t press and can’t receive passes. The job is too much for Tielemans and Santos.

They equalize. 1-1. No surprises here.

Carrick seems to be playing a totally different system. Dorgu and Amad are inverting, almost as AMs and LM and RMs. Zirkzee and Mbeumo are on the wings sometimes. The constant rotation is doing my eyes gizzgizz
