It’s ironic that the same fans who are fine with this tepid transfer window and lack of signings will be the ones that will be asking the manager to compete at the top of the table once the season starts.

They have made Huge money from selling Cucurella, Caicedo, Macalister, Undav, Pedro etc. i doubt you can you actually make a tangible and well thought out post 😂 Crystal Palace has also made hoooge money from sales right? Keep on deceiving yourself.

I can't believe a team that end up in 17th position last season is so unserious in this transfer window!!! By now we should have get like 2 central midfielders and a sensible keeper... I just they look at the way arsenal go flog waiting no good for man u body in the first match!!! . And after Arsenal beats them senselessly, they’ll panic, head into the market and buy useless players for lots of bucks. |

FYI, we scored just 44 league goals pere last season. Only Everton and the relegated teams scored less. It’s so freaking obvious we need to revamp that forward line.
So, in addition to Mbeumo, we still need a good CF and at least one midfielder who can go straight into the starting lineup. Only then will the window be okay.
Let’s see what INEOS can do. If they get the players and Amoroso is not delivering, then he gats to go. |

nitrogen: What makes you think that the manager will not have a major say in transfer decisions? And if we have a manager that is playing a certain system, he will always favour and push for players that fit his philosophy. There’s nothing wrong with a manager having a major say in a transfer decision. But it is also the job of the club to do due diligence and ensure that those players meet their own standards. Cos when they sack the manager due to bad performance , the club will still have to deal with his rubbish signings. |

patrickmuf: I hope when the season starts you will remember the incompetence of the board and not heap all the blame on the manager? Dude. You quoted the wrong guy. I am usually one of the last guys on this board to turn on a manager having a difficult time at United. In most of the arguments I’ve had with you in the past, I’m often asking the board to recruit better before firing a coach when the team is underperforming. This board should recruit better. Only then will I turn on the manager— if things remain the same. |

TrebleChamp: Elanga sef was also a deadwood at United, but Newcastle dey offer £50m to sign him from Nottingham Forest. Many of the players we (me included) called deadwood are doing well away from United, leave one to wonder what is really wrong at the club... Elanga was a youth player who the club and fans expected more from, much more than his capacity could deliver. He needed that move to build himself up. He was simply at the club at the wrong time. Same goes for Hojlund, Garnacho, and a few other youth players whose careers United has destroyed. |

nitrogen: No one is winning. We need to get our acts together and dig ourselves out of the hole we are in. It’s not about spending heavily again, we need to see if Amorim can do anything worthy next season before committing lots of resources. Plus we need certainty of revenues before going on a spending spree, and hopefully that comes via Europe qualification by hook or crook. You don’t commit resources to a manager, you commit resources to your club. Aguero, kDB, David Silva were already at City before Pep came along. Chelsea bought Cole Palmer before they signed their current manager. The Slot that won the league last season with Liverpool did so with a squad built by the previous manager. It’s not just about getting a manager his players. That’s the mistake we’ve been making. It’s about getting really good players into the team. Recruit genuinely good players and give them a good working environment and they’ll thrive irrespective of who the coach is. What we have now is a mix of good and terrible players in a toxic work environment. You can never win with that combination. |

nitrogen: Don’t mind them. If we sign more than 2 players this window without selling some players, na miracle. We all talked about the repercussions of not qualifying for UCL via Europa league. Simple as ABC, revenue will dip significantly next season. It’s a mess that needs to be fixed by finishing decently in the league next season and hopefully qualify for Europa so we can start talking about spending heavily again.
The crazy transfer expectations is just beyond me. I hope our fans will start getting realistic and thoughtful with these things. LooL. This is delusional. Your peers finished above you for two consecutive seasons. They are also reinforcing their squads in this window. But you expect to finish above them without replenishing your own squad 😀🤣 Please give me what you are smoking. |

Trevor012: How much did you spend last season and how much did Liverpool spend? Liverpool has gotten nearly 70million from selling players this window how much have you gotten? Liverpool are playing champions league football next season which means more money, which European football are you playing? You always reason like a 2yr old “We shouldn’t ask for new players because the likes of Chelsea and City that bought new players are playing in CWC.” “We shouldn’t ask for new players because the Liverpool that bought new players didn’t “spend” any money last season.” ‘We shouldn’t ask for new players because Arsenal, Newcastle and Tottenham haven’t “bought anyone” yet. ‘ These are just rants from an illogical mind. If you reason well and have your head screwed on right, your brain should be asking you a simple question: Do we freaking have to wait for other teams before we make a freaking move? This finished club finished 15th last season. If you want an improved season, you should be making better moves than these other clubs, at least to catch up with them. That was how we pursued Sancho for 2 years only to sign him at the premium Dortmund wanted. Just keep making excuses for your audio billionaires. |

How much did you spend last season and the previous season then compare it with Liverpool. Critical thinking dey always hard you. How many players have Arsenal, Villa, Newcastle, Tottenham signed. Nor dey waste my time with your childish posts LooL. This empty headed Kudus is talking about critical thinking. Look at you jumping posts like a grasshopper in the bush. From City, Arsenal, Liverpool and Chelsea, you’ve jumped to the likes of Newcastle and Aston Villa. Even the Tottenham you mentioned are making moves in the market. Next is “how many players have Leicester and Ipswich town bought?” Preseason is 4 days away, you’re yarning nonsense. Ode. |
