The only thing I got from this piece is just how confused the Igbo socio-economic arrangements are.

How many social organisations can one people have ?

In their respective communities they have the Igwes are the top and then in equal power they have the President -General who in most cases wield more power.

Then they have Umumna prrsients and kich hen chairmen. Then up again they have another group of leaders in a larger family lineage and then youth chairmen and Amu Ada.

At the national level they have Oha Neze, Ala Igbo and several others.

And we repeat it again, when a military, at an institutional level , promotes indiscipline, unprofessionalsm, disregard for the law and usurpation of civil authority, they end up weak, lazy and unfit.

The navy was so gallant in deploying troops to intimidate a Minister in a land dispute illegally and in flagrant disregard of the law of Nigeria.

But in the field where they are supposed to shine and show how brutally efficient they are in combating terrorists... well, they've been on it since 20 years and getting nowhere
