misspicy: Treat amnesia
or learn to omit my moniker if you wasn't referring to me "She" is a mention? Lolz. No wonder they say behavioural disinhibition and anterograde amnesia are often inseparable in traumatised females. That was an inference, girl, seeing that I never typed out or quoted your post. You're still my Nairalander of year. |

JoeBlocks: LOL. She needs to learn how to shave. But I wonder, if her face, boobs and body is this hairy, lord knows I don't wanna know how hairy her this and that is.
Ewwwww. Lolz, she's definitely oozing of extra testosterone I tell you. Looks Igbo to me judging from her features. |

JoeBlocks: Always seeking to drag the country back with their medieval way of thinking.
I wonder how Islam has benefited anyone. Go to the core northern states. With their religion, they're still as backward as ever.
Ignoramus come purus idiotas! All they know is their foolish, mundane and archaic religion. No wonder they're no better than crude old cave men who run around naked_ with their genitals showing without being non the wiser.
The sooner we do away with this regressive and repressive thing call religion, the better It will be for us as a country. Still don't understand why fiscal federalism scares our leaders. If we practice federalism as it ought be practised, the north can make Sharia and Islam as official as they want. |

ZoneBslayer: I disagree... heck even my old Sammy s3 outlasted my sister's iPhone 5..she doesn't even use it anymore..she has changed batteries a couple of times yet it drops from 100-40 in minutes..her rear camera has gone blurry..my old Sammy is still kicking.. That's entirely down to individual usage. Sammy , until quite recently, makes the blandest phone with cheap materials. |

JoeBlocks: My kind of man. True in his own nature. This is how men should behave, show our women that whatever they can do, we can do better. Aside birthing babies and breast feeding them, that is.
Le.zz, Post.mann, the.sonofmark, can you guys do this? I like the idea, I mean the improvisation on the assumption they haven't any house help or Nanny. Although, I think the man over dramatised the situation by backing the baby with that piece of wrapper when he could as well just carry it on his arms and sit somewhere quiet. |

BurningBlade: Imagine the nonsense. As much as I love Afrika, some of our traditional practice is just not it.
To think we have people who are educated and enlightened as elders still makes me wonder how they still reason like men living in the Stone Age. Bro, I tell you, issues like virginity and chastity should be left to one's own inclination. The community can only come in an advisory capacity. |

Justeenaleo: lol I have no idea. Heard of these practices but didn't think it was this real. They probably sleep with experienced elders for screening or they consult the Oracle. Lolz. @ the emboldened, I think the former is more probable. |

Justeenaleo: Yeah, it has. Been around though, reading through and too lazy to comment. What could be your idea how this screening is done? I'm dying to read a female perspective on this. |
Culture › Re: Photos From Virgin Ceremony In Ogu, Rivers State by lezz(m): 12:21pm On Dec 04, 2016 |
BurningBlade: Oh I wasn't thinking FGM, I was thinking about those perverted elders using their filthy fingers to check if the girl's hymen are still intact. I wouldn't put it pass that. There are African cultures whose female ceremony of adulthood is marked by sleeping with the virgin girls by a relative or hired hand. Happened in Kenya where a man with HIV deflowered 114 girls in such coming of age ceremony. |

BurningBlade: Same question crossed my mind. Though I won't be surprised if they girls are molested one way or the other. It seem the standard way for some African practice. Female circumcision has made me wary of any 'benevolent' screening of female chastity done by our elderly custodians of African culture. |

dollyjoy: How did you arrived at that conclusion? Girls in that kind of community tend to be sexually frigid. When cosmopolitan girls are looking for cheap hotels, abandoned buildings, and empty churchyard to stealth-fück, village girls are already suspending one leg atop a dwarf tree branch on thier way to the stream and farm. |

dollyjoy: Na wa o, I hope non-virgins are not stigmatize in that community. Thank goodness I am not from such place. Haiiiiiiiiiin What's your fear? Village girls will best urban girls in the game of sex anyhow. |

farano: The virgin ceremony also called Iria ceremony is a tradition, which every girl from the community must go through before being given out in marriage. The girls are usually critically screened by the elders, in the community before being allowed to participate in the ceremony.
