I believe some schools ask for the scratch card details as well, so they check directly. Mine did ask.

Hi, you pay at their office. Also, print out the page that shows the list of documents after submitting. That was one of the prerequisites to getting in when I went. All the best!

Thanks jare. Finally got August 29 after struggling. I think the reason why no dates were appearing at all initially was that I chose the "flexi" option in my cart. When I removed that, August 29 and other dates finally showed up.

Now that I've gotten a date, I will try uploading all the relevant documents today and see if I can do walk-in tomorrow or Friday.

Yes it's crazy. I wonder why. But I know I was able to get a date change from the 29th to the 26th while checking at about 3am or so. People say if you check from 11pm till morning, you may be lucky. lol. I couldn't carry on doing that so I did the walk-in. But you have to choose a date at least to do that. Even though their website says you can do it without an appointment. Better safe with an appointment date. Hope you get something soon.

Thank you. The application starts counting from whenever you do your biometrics. The initial date wouldn't matter anymore, hence why you pay for a walk-in.

Yes I did a walk-in at their VI location yesterday. Just make sure you have a print out of your checklist, passport data page, appointment email and they also asked for the proof you have submitted your documents online (So print out that page with the list of documents submitted). They only accepted self-service walk-in. Though I had to wait from 7am till about 2pm after they had finished with everyone who had an appointment (I suggest you go early). I don't know if it is an everyday thing or based on how the crowd is for the day.

I think it depends on the school. Mine did not request for anything other than my deposit.

Hi, what visa centre? I just checked (VI) and I saw dates for self service from the 23rd. You may need to keep checking as dates tend to free up at some point. I had initially booked for the 19th but saw the 16th a few minutes ago. I checked again and all booked till the 23rd. Try logging out and back in. All the best!

I am not able to book appointment with TLS website. I completed all the payment and redirect through UK.gov to TLS website. The website shows the appointments date but not the appointment time. So I can’t book the appointment for student visa. Is anyone here at also going through this or I’m gettin crazy? Help help help?

Yes you do not have to contact your bank. Well naturally it should all be done online. But knowing our dear country, one would usually have to go to the bank to follow up. But start the process at least. Takes a while though. After I waited for almost two months, I had to cancel my application. Stanbic disappointed me.

I don't think you can change the location. Hopefully you find a date soon.

You are good to go, As long as it's not before the date on your visa like @Davidandgo stated. Please see below from the UK gov website.

"You can arrive before your course starts. This can be either:

up to 1 week before, if your course lasts 6 months or less
up to 1 month before, if your course lasts more than 6 months
You must not travel to the UK before the start date given on your visa, no matter when your course starts".

No you wouldn't have any issues, just maybe a higher fare. You can book a ticket any time.

The question is if they will allow it on the day you choose to go

I have a question please. I got a 12:30 appointment for August 19 at the VI location, then I checked again very early this morning and got the same day but a 10:30 appointment which I amended. This is a far date for me, so I decided a walk-in would be better. I thought I could pay onsite but while reading some information on the tls website, I saw that I had to pay online - "Please note that Flexi Appointments must be booked online and that there are limited appointment slots available each day". So I went back to the booking page and selected the flexi option, but unfortunately I couldn't checkout because there was absolutely no available date showing. I checked all through even to November which was strange. Please do you know what I can do in this situation? Can I just go there and make the payment when I want to? Or it just means there are no flexi dates available.
