It is surprising that many Nigerians just want to pick issues with whatever PMB says without properly analyzing and understanding it, though he has been speaking English. When the President talks about ministers without portfolio, and the Senate President said it is not a new development in Nigeria, common sense would let one know that we are talking about ministers of state. Especially as the SSA to the President has already mentioned that. There is nothing unconstitutional about the stand of the President on all these, as he said the constitution did not mandate him to run 36 ministries, even GEJ did not run 36 despite having 42 ministers. Even the so-called ministers of state are not entirely without portfolio as they are assigned to oversee departments or agencies under particular ministries e.g minister of state for defence (Air force), so they are actually assistant ministers. Finally I think there is only an issue of equity and not a constitutional one, concerning which states and region gets the substantial or so-called non-portfolio positions. However it would be good if someone challenges this to get a judicial position. , |
They can have Ezeigbo in name, but a crowned one, never! Not in Ondo, and even that should be banned in the entire South-Western States. |

Go Eaglets! Go Eaglets!! Go all the way and retain that cup. You deserve no less, and Nigeria deserves no less. |
permsec:Ok, be assured he will soon be free to roam around in Kuje maximum. |
UmuEri:Keep building your misguided morales. Your so-called hero lacks the knowledge of the rules of war, and has made himself a persona non grata internationally. It is foolhardy to show your face openly after inciting a bunch of misguided ignoramuses to commit crimes against humanity by attacking people of other religion and ethnicity. He is lucky that so far none of his cowardly disciples have summoned the courage to carry out his threat or his case would have been handled by the international criminal court for war crimes. However even as it stands now, try him in any legal jurisdiction worldwide, this dude is going down for treasonable felony. |
brize:That's cool. Since you and your likes believe in this your so-called fearless leader, why not organise and show your faces in open solidarity with him, so we'll know he has serious followership, rather than issuing harmless irritating threats on social media. |
Beware of where you step especially at the wee hours, a sting from this creepy insect can give you an unsolicited visa/ticket to the Netherlands.
|
Don't mind them, there are lots of ignoramuses spewing thrash in the Nigerian political sphere in this dispensation. |
kamair237:They are right in what ![]() That Ogbeni Dipo is hypocritical, or that he is the new APC spokesman ![]() By the way are you really APC Cos I am not APC but I personally don't see how the opinion of a fan of a party translates into the party's position. |
The drama is unfolding....... |
May their souls rest in peace. |
Mogidi:You got it wrong, it is not a personal attack dog, but a special witch hunting machine. Those of us that are not public fund embezzling witches or their fans just love the witch-hunt, and coincidentally electricity supply is steadily improving. ![]() |
[quote author=OZAOEKPE post=38610418]"I'm dedicating this FTC on behalf of the good people of Nigeria(especially the youths), that God should see her through all this trials, and that we solidly behind her". Quote me anywhere You meant to say PDP members (especially youths) right? Cos as you can see, very few agree with you position. |
Republlican:So what's your point ![]() She should be freed and left with the loot ![]() |
dedene:The same people Please identify an ex-minister, from that list, or an ex-government official that failed to perform. Seems rather like an entirely new team at the federal level, with excellent track records. |
lyntiffany:You are the one that called Obj the devil not me. Though I am aware there are some projects whose finances appear to have some comma, no one has till the present moment petitioned him to any anti-corruption agency, and until that is done there is nothing against him. Rather than sympathising with Saraki a corruption suspect, you guys should be digging up facts about people you think are corrupt like Obj, Tinubu, Fashola,Amaechi etc who are close to PMB's govt, and present your facts to efcc/icpc instead of throwing unsubstantiated accusations on social media. |
Malawian:To give you an insiders' view from my experience working with both ECOWAS and the UN, Directors, Commissioners, Country Reps and other top functionaries are so busy that they don't read concept notes or schedules of meetings, and other programme documents. Specially delegated officials (in this case the Nigerian Head of mission and her team) go through the schedule, prepare an abridged one and forward it to the top functionary's office (in this case PMB), and if so delegated, they even develop the speeches, addresses, and presentations at the event. Once again I reiterate that it was Ogwu's duty to identify and advise the Nigerian delegate concerning events to participate in, and if she didn't, then she is culpable. |
ZUBY77:All your observations above are on point, the President certainly got the schedule of events identified by the Nigerian mission excluding this important high profile meeting. This informed the composition of the delegate that traveled with him. Therefore the head of mission to the UN has a serious case of dereliction of duty to answer. |
The clueless guy just nailed his career in the head. I guess he is still not in tune with the times. |
Good development, its time to finally plug all the sinkholes in the sector, and get the refineries fully functional. |
All the imbeciles who call our President a dullard This President is sharp and witty. I have not seen a more focused Nigerian President.Said Buhari!!! Saraki O.Y.O#### |
Why are people just deliberately ignoring the clear fact to make political point. A country's mission to an international organization is an advisory body to the head of government concerning all issues and dealings with that organization. Failure to identify and inform the government of the relevant meetings that needs to be attended is a failure of the mission in one of its most elementary duties. The head of mission and all its members involved directly or remotely should be recalled and remanded to desk duties at the foreign affairs ministry with close monitoring for the next five years. They have all apparently being sleeping at their duty post all these while. |
The guts to tell the truth to the so-called powers that be. Is there is no safe haven for stolen money in the US, UK, Switzerland etc. Our money will not find its way there, and if weapons are not deliberately sold to terrorist and insurgents, many of the destabilizing conflicts around the world would not be taking place. Sai Buhari!! |
Just let the show begin and you will see everybody scampering for safety Saraki you will soon be O.Y.O. Mark my words. |
How on earth did I miss this ![]() ![]() ![]() |
Cheeii ! Bad market. |
A party that corruptly destroyed the fortunes of a nation for 16yrs can not see anything wrong in the wrong doing of one who stole under the watch/ Umbllera ![]() |
Okonjo Iweala and Allison Madueke get ready to be docked. |
